My Bleeding Heart

Conscience seems not to be characteristic of my breed what I dare say is common sense appears to elude the free while I awestruck my heart enraged is chained to every tree.

Maureen my day ends reading your words. I randomly pick from so many but happy I picked this one. Common sense is no longer common. Plus today I've been feeling an ever presence of the warmth of love. My Musa sends you HUGS. But Maureen, it's not that I don't love my wife, but mi Musa Melissa just completely inspires me. One day off this week I've already exceeded the 10 in 24 limit. I can't wait to submit what I've got to give. You are so much an inspiration Maureen; I truly mean this.

Thank you Jeff. I understand that muse power. This was written when the poet was my muse. The love of my life hated poetry. Then the poet kissed me, encouraged by his girlfriend, my bf in the dog park, almost a happy love square... I didn't write for 10 + yrs till found this place...
