A Saving Grace From

A saving grace from
The stormiest weather
A sun to shine down upon
Drying up my sopping tears
To place them in a basin of
Your love

Love's Storm

You are the rain seeping through my skin.
You are the lighting that struck my heart.
You are the thunder pounding in my chest.
You are the sun drying up the rest.

Drowning

Lungs filled with water
Salt drying up your mouth
The pain feels like fire
Every muscle in your body
feeling like your gonna explode
Dieing for a last glimpse of the sun
Wanting at least
one more moment of life

Money and Life

All the gold in Thomaston
Is in fancy banks uptown, hun
There are two on the square
Just waiting to use lair
To capture your funds then you're done

(Our town is drying up
Today I noticed that
it only seems that
the banks are prospering.)

Make Up World

Never alone in a make out world
with her face pressed upon a window pane
her breath exhaling a misty dew
with a finger letters she writes
drying up once a shine glass
inhaling the air
deep into her soul
breathing the letters of your name
on her heart.

Painful Admiration

Oh, wow!
How pictorial
You did paint
Your painful plight
Made so attractive
As picture with
Stinging tears
Drying up.

Frowning,
I so admire
The sad art of
A great thousands
Of little thoughts
To still spare
Till the moro
Daybreak.

Withered Thoughts

Rows of sprouted thoughts have withered
dying of thirst, drying up in a field of grief,
and I, their neglectful sower, helplessly sit
as time elapses, watching them expire.

Using

There is a distinct fuzziness in her mind
Her dendrite highway is drying up, cracked like broken concrete.
Cloudy thinking keeps her off the path of clarity.
She dares not let the others know.
Wait!
They are also using drugs; perhaps they already know?
She breathes easier.
Happily lapsing into her final coma.

Warming of Earth

Oceans become warmer causing winds to blow warmer.
Glaciers melt and subside making the oceans rise.
Less snow less rain drying up the rivers and planes.
Fires wild do roar burning forests to their floor.
When the rain does come violent floods do run.
Landslides result when parched and scorched grounds are soaked.

Nature Has the Right

Let the trees grow strong
Without fear of being chopped
Let our oceans be clean
Without fear of being polluted
Let the animals roam free
Without fear of death
Let the land be plentiful
Without fear of being barren
Let the earths water keep flowing
Without fear of drying up
Please let our precious earth
Just be….

Blissful Moments

Flashes of bliss
My littles soul bless.
Allowing my cheeks a blush
And my heart a rush.

Letting go of sorrow
And accepting a blissful morrow.
Drying up my tears,
Casting away my cares.

Flashes of bliss,
Showers of happiness,
Torrents of bleessedness,
Moments of bliss.

Now and forevermore,
Bliss shall my soul bless.

Nameless Pond

A nameless pond is drying up
lily is showing off her green wooden leg
extending a green cup toward the clouds
green glass frogs are chanting in the shallows
a square dance caller flashes a red bow tie
red eared sliders turn the potter's wheel
around a muddy dime.
Death square dances with life
in the middle of this nameless pond.

Brown Crunchy Grass

Summertime hot, bright yellow star blazing. Day after day suns rays relentless.
Heatwave in full swing, no rain in site.
Bright blue up above, no clouds in the view.
Everything drying up turning brown and crunchy.
Crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch.
Crunch, crunch goes the brown crunchy grass as I walk.
Crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch.

Climbing Up

We are burning?
the boats.
Freckled in the sun.
The river was drying up.

The stupid moon,
will not listen, was
in love with lake. One
day the water
will flow.

Do you believe in
rebirth of a universe?
from the fallen
debris of life ?

The dead man will
walk out from the shroud,
to reclaim,
the lost integrity.

T I A

Can't you believe their watery eyes.
Can't you hear their muffled cries.
Not getting enough to eat,
The flicker of hope they shall keep.

Water drying up in the Savannah heat,
For help, they will pleed.

Little children snatched away,
From the one who has not
..Yet decayed.

Families suffering drought,
Asking America.. "why can't they help?"
This. Is. Africa.

Summer Alouette 2

Smell the summer air
Blowing everywhere
Drying up the drops of rain.
In this seasons breeze
Wheat fields grow with ease
Barley, corn and sugar cane.

Sun is beating down
Warming up the ground.
Dandelion seeds float free.
Wild flowers with grace
Daisy’s happy face,
Waiting for a date with bee.

Again

Brick by brick
I build it up.....
Brick by brick
I'm working at forgetting
Brick by brick
This pain keeps returning.....
Brick by brick
My fear is choking me
Brick by brick
The tears are drying up
Brick by brick
I realize my heart's broken
Brick by brick
I hate myself
Brick by brick
I only think of you.....
Brick by brick
Why can't I say.....
I Love You...............

I Know You Are Out There

My days are passing by
My hairs are turning gray
I wait for you to come
On a blessed happy day
My smooth skin is wrinkling
Like a crumpled paper
My hopes are vanishing
Like camphor in the air
My beauty is fading
Like a drying up rose
My dreams are being shattered
By many tornadoes
It makes me hot-tempered
Like a lion of zoo
I know you are out there
Why don’t you want me too?

Iridescent

In your eyes I see the world shadowed lost, and cold
Reaching out for the comfort of someone to hold
In your smile I feel the sun
Drying up my tears until there are none
Every touch of your hand
Seems more than my body can withstand
Can you feel my love for you
Even though I'll never break through
Never will I forgive you or ever pretend
That your iridescent soul doesn't have me until the end

- Bicycle Tour -

                              whizzing through the grass

with sun and wind in her hair -

                                         unique vehicle

                              world's rivers are drying up

                              watermelon quenches thirst

Old Age

Old age is bound to come knock at our door,
And knock us right unto the floor.
Once we have woke who we were...
We are no more.
We have let time slip out of our hands,
To caught up in life demands.
Not noticing our lives Fading away like a rose petal,
Drying up and flying away like a feather.
Once all the things we have done catches up with us,
We will wish there was something we could have savored.

Noon

The sun rose in the sky.
Day temperature was rising.
All noise stopped.
The wind started to stop.
The intensity of the sun spread around.
The streets were empty.
The leaves of some trees were shaking.
Excluding warm air from the south .
The sun was burning in his heart.
Body almost burnt The river pond was drying up.
The day was hot All the animals returned home.
Morning passed and noon came.

Sounding a Unified Chord

Hottest month, the roads are dust Gardens are drying up from drought I’m talking about this 2022 August Sun beating down with a heavy clout Mercury thermometer’s about to bust! August is the hottest ever on record Global warming is undisputedly real The U.S.’d better join the Paris Accord Despite what conspiracists may feel The world must sound a unified chord

Tears of Men and Women

Tears some men easily wipe
By smoking a waiting pipe,
The same tears most women shed
Precariously perching on a bed.
Big tears male criers crave
While on female cheeks they’d rave:
Some tears a man strenuously forces,
On the eyelids of a woman racing horses:
A wounded pride’s would eternally last,
The physically injured’s drying up fast;
The messages in men’s tears are short
The ones in women’s a well-aimed shot!

Martyrs of Hell

flames crossing bound’ries intense freedom rains terror stirring living hell the outback’s furnace drying up tears — bottled up water thirsts for life warm hands wait for the ejection of koalas, kangaroos and kin. standing guard with cool plastic ready to pour forth mercy into parched throats - forest dwellers seek human kindness, no longer threatened by strangers, welcoming their treasured hope. 1/6/2020
