The Poet's World
Blown of indignities, what quiet yet hangs
Thought-beauteous well above them.
Enclose darknesses of all kinds. Still crowned
With Virtue's starry diadem....

Diadem of Gnosis Given To Shem
Shem
Saw
Spirit
Deep darkness
And light all fighting
To know how the cosmos was made
To know our hope in our liberation in the end
This gnosis was given by Derdekeas, who is Christ the son of Light, for those lost

Inspired by the Gnostic text The Paraphrase of Shem...

Diadem
In awe, upon the canyon rim I stand,
Westward looking, entranced by a dying sun,
Who protesting, casts its blood across the sky.
There, beyond its sanguine crimson reach,
Against the blue dark velvet cloak,
A single trembling star pulsates.
A gem placed by God upon the breast of night...

To My Angel Unknown

I thank you for your gift,
You're my angel unknown,
My heart it does uplift,
To see the love you've shown;

When I wanted to quit,
You sent me my PM,
I'm here because of it,
Your gifted diadem;

Your kind-hearted gesture,
Has proved a blessing true!
Thank you, my well wisher,
May God look upon you!

Pillow Talk
Oh! soft as feathered down,
And gentle to the touch.
A diadem in my crown
Which I appreciate so much.

I lay my head to rest
As a bird snuggled in nest.
I close my eyes to sleep,
And lose count of the sheep.

The morning awakens my brow,
Conscience restored to my now;
I always appreciate my pillow,
My constant well feathered bedfellow....

The Queens Bed
The Queens Bed

There's a certain symmetry in mis-shapes
A Correlation of zig zags
A pyramid of Mish mashery
Of Golden haberdashery

A prism geometry forgot
Disfunctional patterns
Of a Diamanté Zodiac
A Tessellating Mosaic

A crazy jigsaw of zany gems
Adorned the Queens four poster bed
A Crystalised Diadem
The perfect fit for her head...

Premium Member Birthstones In the Garden
serene turns to bloody
lullaby whipped to scream
if you've ever watched
your mother die
you'll know what i mean

goodtimes are soon forgotten
friends just drift away
death roosts in the brain forever
i guess we're born that way

who is this diadem
that gives then steals away
puts birthstones in our garden
then swiftly cuts it all away

but its not for me to ask?...

Premium Member Stormy Whether
Only the unfinished moon pierced the gray haze,
not a star shown in the mist muffled sky above.
The ashen air was thick with the portents, dismayed ...
death blanketed firmament, the diadem above.
From the south the fierce winds came, their might at bay,
from the north the cold winds came, snow fell above,
and only the unfinished moon spoke of doom,
as the mother of all storms arose and bloomed....

Hera
Hera precious, gorgeous queen of splendor,
of mighty Ares,and Enyo,the mother,
to thee I write my gratitude and thanks
for all thy blessings showered upon my head.
Thine is the pomegranate and the diadem,
with which you rule all worlds and human lands,
with magnanimous mercy and charity.
of rainbow colors dressed divine thou art,
the sunny smiling matron of the arts,
Thou, queen, who favorest the pure of heart....

Imperceptible

dust&voices

Music uplift my heart
Disperse distress,down cast depart;
Vivaldi on Venetian violin
In concerto,cello and mandolin.

Music enlarge my mind
Reminece and then remind;
In Mahler's opus strong
Adagio,lieder and song.

Music to suit my every mood
In valued secluded solitude;
Satie and Pachebel
Motifs that haunt and indwell.

Music tingling my spine
As emotions re-align;
Choral and slow requiems
In pleasing dulcet diadem....

Ocean of the Past
One day, all living things might fill
     The ocean of the past
And every ship, against our will,
     Could bear a broken mast.

That day, when no one’s left to know
     Of Satan and of God,
Our giant star shall burst and sow
     A diadem of blood.

The relics of our ancient world
     Shall sleep in ageless ice,
Or else burn bright as they are hurled
     To seal our sacrifice.

Premium Member Palm Tree Sonnet
Stiff pleated fronds in concert rise
to wax under the April sun
and trill their canticles begun
in verses jade that they comprise.

Chartreuse of thorny branches splay
a tumult to belie the grace
that on display they interlace
like rose stems on a breezeless day.

Atop the thatched denuded bole
gush fountains cast in cardamom,
an opalescent diadem
that glistens on the mossy knoll.

In thus exuberant array
do cloistered peacocks mime ballet.

  Spell Me and You

We stroll by the water
  Forget our cares
Summer's here now
  To enjoy the fresh air

Smell the red peonies
  Gorgeous pods on a stem
Pick a few, don't deny
  The table its diadem

Scoop up some stones
  Choose one smooth and flat
Skip it across the lake
  and marvel at that...

As the sun works its way
  Into the last gentle wave
The day's etched in memories

Sunset
The mother of twilight
How I love the spread of yellow!
The fire path effect
And the glory that watches
Burning the crawling clouds.
Sunset at the river,
The arc at the its end
Like a diadem of a queen.
Memories run through me
As I watch flashy trails on water,
The dancing yellowish rays
Like the wonders of fireworks.
The sunset today
Triggers in me...
For every sunrise
There is a setting.
Just as we have come
And will leave some day.
