Black people don't do therapy

Black people don't do therapy
You'll be seen As a failure
They say we don't share out business with 'strangers'
But those 'strangers' are usually their children's saviours
They are like a safe place
Something their parents never gave them
A safe haven

See what these black parents don't realise
That if they don't start paying attention
To their children
They'll lose them forever
All because to them white validation
Is better than keeping their family together

Apparently they would rather give up their child to suicide
Than give up their pride

Premium MemberI Hate the Facts

I hate when he's always away
I hate that he's not home to stay
The slamming of prison gates
I hate all those fates.
I hate the news reports of omenuos times

And the fear they bring
The approach of another day
The flight of the sun and the moon
Preachers say don't loose faith
A day Born to soon

I hate drastic ruin
I loath a dimly lit room
Why is reality here at all
Just to punish the vulnerable
And even the small

How do nations rise and fall?
I hate these numerous FACTS
The fate that hates humanity back
I hate the innocent suicides
And the years that swell my eyes

I hate the torment of wretched souls
Give them room to breathe
Share out what they need
Release the ones who will be forever free
I hate the danger of a loaded gun

Freedom has a soul
Let it be done
Whose names are written on the
Weeping wall of prayer?
I wish he where here

I hate the feeling of alone

A *****-Graphical Slamming Rebuttal

Seems like I could be on top of the world.
I think about poetry like my tongue is pearled.
Just the other day I wrote a poem to honor another poet.
I spun around in a spin to unfurl to the Soupers whorled.
I know they think they’re the bombshell.
They are big headed and believe their words cast the spell.
They vortex puts us in a whirlpool.
They billow swells.
Soupers let’s keep it real.
The universe zeal.
We entertain each other with our thoughts.
Poetry is our appeal.
We write to regale.
Anything else considered is to no avail.
I laugh aloud.
Soupers the advantage is a tall tale.
I am here to share-out.
That there is such a thing as an amateur in the house.
I know many fill the title of a poet professional.
This is where real skills are grandeur and profound.
Soupers, the truth expose.
A writer’s right shows.
Angstrom to a wavelength, the brain thinks and the mind depicts.
As a Poetess, here I throw it to the wind; that it is you with the *******.

To the Souper who asked for a rebuttal to his slam.

Premium MemberLove Becomes An Ocean

Barefoot we spend our time in spring,
Just giggling kids - how sweet the dream
When we, in love are blossoming.
We splash inside a cool fresh stream.
Our time in spring - how sweet the dream!

A few years pass; there comes an ache
for something more in summertime.
We feel such heat! Down by the lake
we soothe our ache. It is sublime
down by the lake in summertime!

Refrain:
Love is a stream, and then it grows.
A river soon - through life it flows!
And two enduring to the end
see love become an ocean then!

A rushing river, wanting more,
through highs and lows, still so in love,
we roll down to the ocean’s shore
where memories we’ve plenty of!
We stroll fall’s shore, still so in love.

An ocean of devotion lies
ahead of us – deep like the sea.
Our souls live on; the greatest prize -
to share out love eternally!
Oh winter’s love, deep like the sea

Refrain: Love is a stream, and then it grows
A river soon, through life it flows!
And two enduring to the end
see love becomes an ocean then!

Premium MemberIn the Meadow

Cows bellow, low, heads between rails
such large deep sad eyes, such full bags.
For whom do they await, no one home
to let them out, share out their milk.

Not long ago I saw you wandering off with him
his hand caressing your neck, gripping your arm
holding you stiff, obedient to his will
and you were bound to follow, no sound

escaped your lips, and me, why am I watching
for the scene to play out? Don’t we all know
don’t we all grieve, for the coming of that day
when cowl slips down, the bellow, low aches.

You won’t come home, will you my dear.
I guess I paid the right price for a job well done
Your cheating heart won’t bestir us to wait
Never more. This farm is sold outright.

Mission Statement

To be faithful and true, honest and good, that’s anyone’s mission in life if they could
But I want to be rich, famous, and a fantastic celebrity
Then I could share out my wealth with those less fortunate than me.

In My World

If the day ever came, when I ruled the world
I’d think democracy had gone mad
Cos the world would be in a sorry state
If for a ruler, I was all it had
But I’d give it my best, and put to the test
There are a few things I would do
To put the world right, with all of my might
And here are but a few;
I’d make everyman free
Wipe-out poverty
By spreading around the world’s wealth
Medical care
Would be free everywhere
So every person could access good health,
I’d insist that each nation
Had good education
To enable them all to progress
And prison time served
For despots with the nerve
To hold their people under duress,
I’d share out all the worlds’ stockpiles of food
As I think no-one, should every go hungry
For this is just a small glimpse of the world
If the day came, it was ruled by me.

It's Your Choice, Not Mine

Certainly, to share is to love, as for love is to share
If truly, you share out of love, then you really care

Easy to understand, and it is not my own command
If, you do not wish to listen, then stop your pretend

Always be there for you, a loyal friend, real and true
Not here to sue you, but, to share with you, my stew

Indeed, you have been told, O, People of this World
Be steadfast and be bold, but still, you are very cold

Ok, you hate without pretend, you suffer till the end
Remember, the One, being sent, he died, for all men

It is your choice, not mine, with me, you will rejoice
If you heeded my voice, you’ll live, without remorse

My Daughters

pretty like a picture
delicate like a bud
so little,so tiny
i hold you in one hand

a palm of so many memories
tears on every finger tip
i think of you with every touch
with every kiss on my lips

so why do you have to grow up so fast
where did all the time go
i'd have you for the rest of time
this is always in the know

then one day,i turned around
and both of you were gone
in you place,two women stood
with a smile and both so strong

the feelings that i have felt for you
i share out fair and square

in every kiss,i'll see your smile
and every touch, the faces of you
still so pretty,a picture
flowers buds make me think of you.
