      Border surveillance female scouts
      their warnings unheeded about

an attack, imminent, from Gazan Hamasniks
      IDF superiors pooh-poohed the risks

Prime Minister Netanyahu ignored their reports
on Yehudah and Shomron he focused his every resource

Yet ‘Bibi’ survives as PM to this day
the surveillance report long since filed away...

O, Justice, Justice, have ye fled underground
~ where Hamas abducts innocents all year-round

Thou Shalt Not

In Louisiana, there’s a law
That people ought to hate,
About the 10 Commandments,
Which defies church versus state.

For every public classroom
Must, in giant font, display
These rules, where courts already ruled
That students need not pray.

Of course, no one should kill or steal
Or covet, but for all,
The Lord and Sabbath references
Should not be on the wall.

In private or religious settings,
Thou shalt save a spot
For the 10 Commandments, but in public
Buildings, thou shalt not!

Premium MemberTHE EMOTION OF GUILT RIDDEN- WE SHALT UNDERSTAND-

~On the boarder of mine mistakes
I shutter I've fallen to the sounds,
grounds of mine beliefs I adhort to
say to the calling screams nevermore
to dream of those the tangled things
tangible things. Sweating bead...of
Perceptional drops of tears sore I am
the emotions of a guilt ridden-humanatee??

Thou Shalt Not

The world is not driven by greed
it’s driven by envy …
Commandment 10 is carved in stone
positioned at the end
Where old injunctions miss their mark
a covetous reminder
Desirous of another’s place
—the devil painted green

Thou Shalt Weep

A pet for life
Will give you love
Unconditionally
A special love
A joyous love
Whenever you're together
This love 'tis like no other
And you pray it lasts forever

But as the days and years go by
That time arrives
That time you dread
That time when you can see
Your darling pet
Has had enough
And soon he will be leaving thee

For truly it will break your heart
But most importantly
Praying ne’er that you will see
Pain within his eyes
For when you do
For certainly
'tis time for final goodbyes
Before he gently goes to sleep
Broken hearted ~ thou shalt weep…

Thou Shalt Not

Five minutes after God wrote the very first commandment.
His kids commenced to slaughter each other.

Sometime later,
a great thinker stood forth and said:
“Hey guys do you think He really meant it?”

“Of course” said one
“Naw” said another vehemently.

One touchy fellow said they were both wrong!

Things got heated.

War broke out, the killing resumed.

Thou Shalt Not Covet

Religion
a prison…
to fence and restrain

Spoken
or written…
 it tries to contain

What can’t
be conscripted
or coveted pure

The Presence
as given
—freely endures

(The First Book Of Prayers: January, 2022).

Premium MemberFor I Shalt Not Hate You-

For I shalt not hate you
Barefoot am I
I speak virgin tongue
I hate no one

I love everyone
And yet your negative ways
Your bad wrong choices
For I shalt not hate you

Those loud lose voices
Are the only things I hate
For I shalt not hate you
Only just those things you do

All sinners even I
Will be, shall be redeemed by Christ
And O God that will be so, so
very nice
For I shalt not hate you

Thou Shalt Not Kill

What amazes me
with all the religions
Christian Muslim and Hebrew
you all believe in the same God

All the cults
and all of the behaviours
throughout history
Your God came down

To the mountain
and personally wrote
the ten commandments
Thou shalt not kill

How is it that Catholics
have killed Protestant
Protestant has killed Catholic
history is riddled with violence

today's world is
riddled with violence
they say "we are better than you,
so we have a right to kill you"

Yet surely if God took the time
to write personally
the ten commandments
do the not apply

To all of your religions,
thou shalt not kill
Christian cults started up
people in texas brought guns

The Authorities moved in
we all know the history
A massive group of Christians
committed suicide

Killing themselves
If the leaders of your religion
want you to kill yourself
or somebody else

shouldn't you ask
what happened to
Thou shalt not kill
written by God himself

If every man
refused to pick up a gun
there would be no more wars
following the path of peace

Is a decision
you should make
within yourself
God himself wrote the words

Premium MemberThou Shalt Always Be My Love

In this coursing, crimson river
of my blood, you float.
There is no end to this, our eternal
amorousness.
Nay, not even human death can
remove us from Eros's moat.
Nor our touching hands' total
peacefulness.
So let's on, to the minutes as
they, like arrows, swiftly pass.
Your mistress awaits you in cobalt,
lace blue, summer gown!
Upon the kiss of morning dew on
this orb's verdant grass!
Let us do partake of vintage wines,
glorious breads and cheese till
God's sundown.
Let us dream of the children we
will create!
And weep tears of joy and blessed
happiness.
We revel in each second, so
divinely, and magically intimate.
To share with all humanity our
immutable, loves' holiness!

Premium MemberThou Shalt Love the Children

Thou Shalt Love the Children:
A request from Panagiota,,,please?

You remember that time when
you were twelve?
How the world was blossoming
like a flower to you!
People loved you, just for for you.

Perhaps your dad was a physician,
Perhaps Mom was a musician.
Or maybe both were addicts?
Was that your fault?
Whatever they were?

What kind of age are we living in?
When we poets down 12 year olds
Of being born to certain men?
Or women, for that matter.

I guess being a grandmother of a
terrific grandson, age 12,
I am heartbroken when poets here
Use 12 year olds as the butt of
jokes.

Poets are not late night host comedians,
who will do anything for ratings.
I see poets here groveling for fame,
By destroying a 12 year old,
Whose done no harm.

Loathe the parents if you must.
Children? Never harm them with your
words.
Many of you have or had 12 year olds.
Please remember they are kids.
You don't need to love them, but of
Disrespectful words, please stop.

Alone Thou Shalt Not Be

It was not in dark dost thy life engage
For thou hast been given good friends with thee
And cheerful thy natural instinct edge
Yet heart hides fears thyself alone can see.

What plan dost thou create in mind conceal
That thou think a step ahead thy future?
Where didst thought placed thy heart's beauty reveal
While body walks its vigorous nature?

For thou claim unkwown 'tis not yet to come
So point out none of those time hast not done
When the world turns thee then change thee for some
Hinder not til thy fate by faith be thine.

All alone thou shalt not forever line
For hands are reserved by God to fit thine.

Thou Shalt Not Kill

"Thou shall not kill"
Was etched in stone
High on a mountain top
As if God cracked
His funny bone
And no one heard it pop

We kill to eat
And not just meat
But weeds and insects, too
And no one grieves
For garden thieves
Who stop by for a chew

Our need for food
Fuels endless feud
Leaving us in a bind
To feed our brood
We must conclude
Mankind just isn't kind!

Thou Shalt Not Kill

People claim
to follow God
To follow Allah
Moses went up onto
the Mountain
and came back
with the ten commandments
Thou shalt not kill
Christian's claim to follow God
Thou shalt not kill
America claims to follow God
Thou shalt not kill
Palestinians claim follow God
Israelis claim to follow God
religious cults claim to follow God
thou shalt not kill
to follow God
we must live at peace
love thy neighbour as thy self
war destroys the jobs
that feed our children
creating poverty
and starvation
to follow God
create peace
with every
religion
