Shallowest Poems | Examples

Taking back what's mine

Screams taking up all I own
Screams making me believe I am no one
Screams enchanting him over my sorrow
Cause his joy only lies on my failed tomorrow.
They try and try
To ensure I give up
My eyes cry
For they never give up.
They take my beauty
They take my time
They take my energy
To I can never recognize whats mine
But my beauty was never limited to time
And my energy recharges from the harmony of shallowest chime.
Whats mine will be what I am
And a little scream
Cannot prevent my yell.

Questions that Puzzle The Mind

If mothers didn't bear children,
we wouldn't hear their screams
while they're laughing aloud
and are having lots of fun;
love them and be always blessed,
sparkle enthusiasm and dreams!

If lovely spring stopped blooming,
how sad we would feeling emptiness;
and strolling down the flowerless paths
we wouldn't hear a bird warbling!

If we only loved ourselves, not others
it would be the shallowest existence;
how inhumane would be such a negligence
when the indifference harms inner feelings!

If all we are after is self-gratification,
we miss the sense and essence of logic;
we must love sincerely, not with forced intention...
trashing worthless thoughts that aren't authentic!

If we considered empathy and shunned all differences
to deter prejudices that confer altruism and diffidence,
we would in no time elevate love to the ultimate bliss;
where disdain stirs anger, goodwill instills confidence!

The Joy Of Holding Each Other

Don't we miss the joy of holding each other?
We won't stare in anybody's pretty eyes
and say sweet things to mask our fear?
There are no promised rewards when one lies!

Don't we miss the joy to hold each other?
We miss the harmony that's gone, so is hope;
we dreamt of the most serene sky over us...
was there a fearful revelation hidden from us,
to prevent a sudden split-up to even cope?
Don't we miss the joy of holding each other?

Our urge is not desire, it's the ultimate task...
to embrace and fall for bigger pleasures;
the truest love is hard to build: it's a fortress
to be watched and be protected from attack!

Don't we miss the joy of holding each other?
Happiness never lasts, it's the shallowest delusion...
if trust is not seen as a moral thing for a solution;
anger broke us apart, leaving inside a deep scar...
we were charmed by a sweetness turned so sour!
Don't we miss the joy of holding each other?

Kindness

She always falls for boys
Who only ever
Show kindness
In its shallowest form.

She has not seen
The depths of what
Kindness could hold.

Oblivious to Palestinian Suffering

No, I'm not one of those who say, "It's nothing, it's collateral damage for just cause."
How much I regret this plight of conscience,
people walking around unmindful of the tragedy.
Have they no trace of humanity?
Are there no rules of war?
Is genocide allowed?
The spirit of contradiction marks the West, shattering tranquility of academic ivory towers, desperately requiring Nietzschean jailbreak; their sorrow is shallowest thing, they're afraid of their own shadow.
Look no further than Nazi atrocities,
are there no lessons from history?
Follow not the logic of occupiers, colonizing morality.
They color the silence of their tongues with crocodile tears.

In shallowest sense,
I adored him ever since
Dream before we met.
Now wonder if I am just

Premium MemberAllure of the Sea

The Sea summons sailors, sending waves
lapping at curiosity's shores.
Offering a world with no locked doors;
She harbors treasures and salty graves.

And though oft as gentle as the breeze
rippling across Her watery face.
This lady of adventure and grace;
is known to be a fair-weather tease.

She is easily riled by the wind;
yet reflects the moon like a mirror.
And brings opportunities nearer;
upon which landlubber hopes are pinned.

She shifts colors from aquamarine
to turquoise, chartreuse, and indigo.
And is filled with wonderment and woe;
not hell or heaven, but in-between.

Many feel the allure of the Sea;
as She tugs upon their hearts and souls.
For from Her depths to shallowest shoals;
She exerts Her sensuality.

Premium MemberA Smiling New Year

We knowingly place our dreams,
beginning with our broadest extremes
to the narrowest needlepoint,
from the highest mountain
to the lowest cavern,
and from the deepest ocean
ending in the shallowest puddle,
for our imagination takes us to the never
and reality drops us in the ever,
so if you are awake, stay awake
and make the best of your new year,
and stay grounded
then sleep and drift away in your dreams
and smiles.

Metaphors

We are all but metaphors
Names varying along the course
Representations
Of either the deepest
Or the shallowest creation

We call each other in codes
Mediocre yet each a different mode
We exist in different realities
Of this life we now call " abyss "

Identities placed in the hand of symbols
Existence supported by phonological reasons
Names do have meaning but do we?
It's up to us...really

Prayer For Bad Noose
(The Goitre Psalm)

The Lord is my Shepherd
I shall not want a Swollen Neck
He Leads me to the BEST Physician
He Restores my Throat
He Leads me through the dangers of Surgery
		for His Name’s Sake
Yeah, thou I work through the Shallowest of Breath,
I fear it’s just “Goitre Go!!”…Thyroid -
and Thy Staff comfort me.
Thou Prepared an Operating Table for me……
You anointed my body with Anaesthesia …my Calm Runs over.
Surely with Your Goodness and Mercy shall I swallow…
….all the Days of my Life.

Baby I'Ll Bite Down

Inspired by Nancy Sinatras Song "Bang Bang" http://youtu.be/T5Xl0Qry-hA

In this little heart of mine
filled with sunshine, smiles, and crime
I let it roam and let it play
but looks for you all night and day

Fang Fang
I'll hunt you down
Fang fang
You'll hit the ground
Fang Fang
I'll catch you soon
Fang Fang baby I'll bite down

He's made of skin and I of fur
My winter love makes him burr
I'll sneak right in without a stir
Then he will be mine for sure

Fang fang
I'll pounce you down
Fang Fang
You'll hit the ground
Fang Fang
How the blood will come out
Fang Fang
Baby I'll bite down..

My love is strong and it is weak
I'm the tallest mountain in the shallowest peak
He hears me roar but not when I speak
How can ones face be so bleak?

Fang Fang
he pounced me first
Fang Fang
It was the worst
Fang Fang
My heart just burst

Fang Fang
My baby bit me down.

Abba of the Ages

Eternity, where
Immanence-transcendance
mutually reinforce.
When alien is at home,
the desert in the sea.
While impossible to seek,
knowing is bestowed
and all elect,
the sons of art.

Here invention's noble thrust
sujects itself to faith in vanity
the measure of depth
a evanescent film,
and piety
the shallowest of all.

Abba-beyond all time and space,
closer than a heartbeat-
resides in secret,
non-invasive,
distant the needs of flesh
and yet divinely intimate.
Duality unknown,
can view with equanimity
the blood-soaked pores
from Nazareth,
evoking tears of joy.

Abba-let us speak of love
but first in cultivated awe
acquire the power to fail,
to scale the pinnacle
of childhood
and view with newer eyes
a lovliness remote
and inaccessible
to those who seek the stars.

Not My Ship

You were not
you were not my ship.

Simply existing in my deep ocean
that continues to deepen with every emotion.
I
thought I'd try you.
I
thought I'd try you.

Saw you occasionally on my shore
looking uninterested, even bored.
I don't blame you,
for the excitement's hidden in the blue.

I wouldn't call to you,
thought it was no use.
Once or twice
I saw my waters catch your eye.
Waited for the day you'd want a swim,
remove your pre-judgements like clothes,
and jump in
you never did,
no you never did.

Only waded to the tops of your legs
where the shallowest part of me is.
So I couldn't pull you in.

Someday there'll be a ship
and someday I'll open up to him.
Give him everything I am and more.
Like a tidal wave
pull him in from the shore.
Pull him in, all the way in.
All the way
til all the lights
from all the lighthouses in the night
are out of sight
and he's all mine.

Even now without a ship,
I will still be an ocean.
I will always be an ocean.
And you were not
you were not my ship.

Recidivist

The lapse takes place in moonlight,
Curtained behind the rain,
Where the raucous chimes of midnight
Mock with their cracked-ice refrain;
The gut-churning whiskey of sorrow
Swills on the palate of fear,
And the cigarette breath of tomorrow
Spills through memorial beer.

Resurrecting the buried and burning
Raised from the shallowest grave,
She never was one much for turning,
No mercy to strain or to save;
Unto the breach, once more to divine,
If the end calls a curse on the fates,
The recidivist heart in a step-like decline
Fibrillates as it anticipates.

A Poem

Its emotion itself moulded in pens hue,
The feelings in it are from vast ocean to tiny dew;
whence it hath filled minds shallowest lakes,
It flows down from heart as through snow flakes.

Proud and great are those creation--
Whose thought consist of truth along with imagination;
Those creation without truth are fake--
Passes to past,these new pieces,floating upon time's lake.

It has the majesty higher than Everest,
It covers within itself from lions den to tiny nests,
It has the beauty brighter than pearl,
Deep message doth around it curl.

Lssons of academics--do they continue in life in general?
Message in poetry --they do run with life till funeral.
