Premium MemberSeesaw Sashays on Summer Shore

I walk along the shore, bare feet in sand.
The seabirds wheel and cry above the sea.
The wind hums secrets shaped by ocean’s hand,
As surf calls out, wild-voiced and full of glee.

The sun casts arcs of color through the spray.
Shells open wide, and sing the songs I adore.
As swells roll in, where dolphins leap and play.
And salt clings fast to things we can’t ignore.

The breaking waves still rumble towards the sky.
They toss white veils above the rising swell.
And flotsam clings where tides no longer ply.
Where silence fell, and joy once used to dwell.

And when the summer sets and dusk has come,
We’ll sing sea shanties, lauding light and sun.

Premium MemberTilting on a Seesaw, Rocking

I'm stand'n, with legs split astride,
One foot on either side,
flip'n on the see-saw ride,
tilt'n from side to side.
Rock'n and Roll'n!

I'm in a juxtaposition
in between a flip 'n flop
You said you loved me!
Now you say, not!
Will you make up your ruddy mind.
I'm in such a bind!

The tides a' going out and coming in.
The sun's arising and setting.
I've given you love, and not got,
no love, back in return.
I'm all stained black and blue.
I wanna be red and yellow,
on the flip'n arc of the rainbow.

I'm sick of the way
the coin always flips,
between agony and bliss,
between I'm happy and I'm sad!
There's a gotta be a better way,
to rock'n on this see-saw grind.
I wanna be heads up, all the time!

I'm stand'n, with legs split astride,
One foot on either side,
flip'n on the see-saw ride,
tilt'n from side to side.
Rock'n and Roll'n!

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
The clock says it's one o'clock.
But its fast, it's on the future,
on the just passed it time.
There's no going back, this time,
On some voodoo time-machine grind,
Get me off 'a this playground ride!

Flip'n in a juxtaposition!
Flip'n in a juxtaposition!

Premium MemberSeesaw

by turns,
    going up
        and down,
lacking
precise equilibrium;
life is...
 but a seesaw.
sometimes
         we rise.
sometimes
          we fall.
       when
you find yourself
    squatting
on the down end,
never mind
the brooding gray clouds
hovering
overhead.
           do not
      disembark.
           do not
      count yourself out.
because...
 come afternoon,
sunshine
will peak through it.
you're down,
      though not for long!
       so, sit tight
   on that seesaw,
     which will
inevitably rise...
up, up, up!
and when your feet
  f i n a l l y
lifts off the ground,
      release
white elephants
     within
to the welcoming wind.
     shake off
         any encumberance
               on your shoulder.
outstretch
        your arms
as though
you're about to fly.
taste the air
         with your tongue.
taste the newfound freedom
taste life
       itself.

Premium Membertwo women on a seesaw

two women on a seesaw laughing their happy heads off
Like male praying mantises, except they did not scoff
wearing dresses and high heels which was absurd
Their husbands Phil and Lee walked by, without saying a word

Pretending they do not know their wives imbibe during the day
Something hard to not realize if you are looking their way
They were arguing now about whose seesaw was the best.
They were both on the same one, so it was no real test.

Let’s go to a ballgame, suggested Phil to his friend Lee.
They had no argument from their Gladys or Sammy.
Arguing now about whether the seesaw was blue or red.
Let’s stop by and pick up my favorite cousin, Fred.

I see you,
In everything I see.

I saw you,
In everything I saw.

You see,
I see.

You saw,
I saw.

There's no reason,
to deny,

What we've seen,
Or what we saw.

Seesaw Sand Session

nobody in the world is here
only me and the crashing waves
i have no thoughts
i have no stress
only me and the crashing waves
i stay faithful to my Sweets
i pray for Her to get well soon
i wish that She could have come with me
however, she needs to rest
i then pray for a friend of mine who chose outside steps
i pray for the life that he did not intend to create
however, she is here now, Healthy and Blessed
he is crying tears of regret and joy beside me
i leave the crashing waves to him
he needs the vibe more than i do
Momma, God Rest Her Beautiful Soul, taught me not to be selfish
i think i will go back to the direct oceanfront condo
i need the check on my Sweets

Premium MemberSeashore Seesaw

Like the sound of ocean in a seashell
My ears ring of the love for the ocean
With land, river, lake unable to quell
The ache for sea, woven within finespun.

The sound of waves that break and surge up shore
Washes the stain and stench of inland slime
From the mind and body, right to the core
Purifying, cleansing like bells dawn chime.

Heralding last hour, all gone and dusted,
Flushing away the past's stain, taint and scour.
New dawn born each hour, freshened and flustered.
Time with the sea renews, like chimes on hour.

The sound of sea in sync with my being
Sustains love with chants and seesaw seeing.

Premium MemberA Seesaw

When I was a lithe young lad at the age of three
This chunky lad on a seesaw launched me into a tree
Yelled out for help
As a branch I felt
Entering an orifice that the sun don't see

Seesaw Battle

falling falling falling
landing in the water in the middle
however i do not want to drown
stalling stalling stalling
bubbles release my pain just a little
however i wear no frown
brawling brawling brawling
a certain part of my throat has a small tickle
however i do not feel all down
calling calling calling
i am nowhere near being civil
with you i want to go to town
walking walking walking
here we go again loving in many a riddle
yet and still we stay around

Seesaw Merry-Go-Round Life With You

sometimes i am leaving
other times i am arriving
somewhere in between i am comfortably confused
for some reason i love being in this particular zone
i can deal with you best this way here
just for that seashore smile....i never want anything to change
it is safer here....until the inevitable alarm goes off
then the work gets harder via the multifarious, emotive levels of effect
guessing games are like russian roulette to the mind at times
we play it everyday though....just for some sort of sane comfort....

Old Naughty Neighbours Still Play Seesaw

 His
shadow
chasing hers
under the stars
mirrored on the glass
of their frosted window.
Dim lights off , window opens
Hid are all their seesaw movements
Oh ,at last ! that awkward view now gone
But what I cannot see, I can still hear.

Seesaw

At the park—your pudgy little boy hand
Grabbed my pudgy little girl hand
And we ran.
We ran all the way to the Seesaw.

You lifted me up, You pulled me down
My giggles of joy erupted.
You lifted me up, You pulled me down
Making sure you never hurt me.

Time goes by—My best friend ignores me
And it seems I have no one
Except you.
You have always been here.

You lifted me up, You pulled me down
Only you could make me happy.
You lifted me up, You pulled me down
Making sure No One would ever hurt me.

Now—I love you
Even though your feelings are certainly
Faded.
This distance you’ve created breaks me.

Still—Things have changed
And for the first time I’ll admit
It’s your fault.
But the seesaw still goes up and down.

You lift me up, You pull me down
You play with my emotions.
You lift me up, You pull me down
See! You’ve finally hurt me.

Premium MemberLife's Seesaw

Dreams,desires,bitter so sweet
An adolescent trail trodden,
Engulfed by moods,melancholy and sudden;
Aches from a first love leaving,
Painful ye poignant;
Novel experience sadden,then abates
Then will gladden
As mellowed..anticipation awaits.
