two lovers
together
on a seesaw
one on each end
going up and down
in time
in opposite directions
with one heartbeat
The farmer's wife and milkman played seesaw
Their sighs weren't heard as two donkeys brayed He-Haw
Inspired by Silent One's contest ( not for contest )
Measuring up depends
on which way you look at it
a seesaw rocks from side to side
a pendulum swings to and fro
who says which side the weight is placed
on a pairs of scales.
I see you,
In everything I see.
I saw you,
In everything I saw.
You see,
I see.
You saw,
I saw.
There's no reason,
to deny,
What we've seen,
Or what we saw.
a tender smile
brings rapport,
a seesaw thrill
releases
a tense tang,
a humorous
aside
banishes dread,
reminences
flood memory
with delight
When I was a lithe young lad at the age of three
This chunky lad on a seesaw launched me into a tree
Yelled out for help
As a branch I felt
Entering an orifice that the sun don't see
The way to get through is just giggle and guffaw
All waking hours, till you get sore in the jaw
It's my age old philosophy
Slow down life's velocity
And rising and descending on my homemade seesaw
deep beauty and dangerous boss \

oh
Sal saw sea
beyond the seesaw
but
did her fish suit swimming
in a flashy swimsuit
Doug, her dog
at the pantomime
groans a panting moan
then
Sal, fish and Doug
did a selfie on her phone
Listen to poem:
Standing up, on top
straddling the seesaw
one foot on each side, now.
Whichever way I lean
sends the upside down
and the downside up.
Slippery slide
to the flip-side
is unworkable.
It's lunge, parry
riposte.
Hobby horse watched as Peter touched the train with awe.
Teddy bear was watching snowman, glad he was not about to thaw.
Puppy put his head down to think about a lovely winter gnaw.
Amid Christmas tree, drums, and seesaw.
Seesaw
Flip flop
Upside
Down go
Switch on
Turn off
Nothing
Between
One or
Zero
No if's
Or maybe's
Black white
Day night
No dawn
No dusk
Binate
Just state
Love me?
Hate me?
'Tis Which?
Choose one!
Triggered emotions,
ran haywire,
in veins,
pulsing all along,
the perfume,
gently rubbed,
at vantage points,
was jigjagged,
in seesaw,
told people around,
that it was my sound,
that I had arrived,
totally and fully contrived.
Dreams,desires,bitter so sweet
An adolescent trail trodden,
Engulfed by moods,melancholy and sudden;
Aches from a first love leaving,
Painful ye poignant;
Novel experience sadden,then abates
Then will gladden
As mellowed..anticipation awaits.
~ Psychosis, carnal -
seesaw hips ...
melt my manic mass. ~

LIFE'S SEESAW
Dreams,desires,bitter so sweet
An adolescent trail trodden,
Engulfed by moods,melancholy and sudden;
Aches from a first love leaving,
Painful ye poignant;
Novel experience sadden,then abates
Then will gladden
As mellowed..anticipation awaits.
The playground at dawn,
so quiet and still,
with no hint that anything could move.
Still swings;
a roundabout covered with frost,
a seesaw with no child.
No dogs at that time;
no cats - they must be somewhere else;
no hint of later on.

Take a walk with the honeybees,
wade into a wafting Spring breeze;
Relish pollen bringing a sneeze
floral strip tease, floral strip tease;
Swarming with hues I’m left in awe,
such pure beauty without a flaw;
Laughs return to an old seesaw;
A heart in thaw, a heart in thaw.
Life comes and goes,
seesaw,
perpendicular...!
Forward and backward,
highs and lows...
Tide,
wave,
roller coaster...
without this... sans movements
there would be no life...!
Time, cool
moving through patience.
On the edge of suddenly,
on the brink of death.
Waiting to be born,
hedging off of expected.
The cage bird sings,
an exile to hope,
a child waits for Christmas
mornings sitting with joy.
How does your seesaw balance?
Which way does wind blow west?
Listen to poem:
see the seesaw sea
send its waves to rock
the barrel stave wooden seahorse
to and fro, askew and slow
though I'm feeling
skew-whiff in the waddle
and iffy sickly not well
I think I'll stay
riding the bare-back bronco
to whittle the whiles away
letting the be, what's may
till the break of day
His
shadow
chasing hers
under the stars
mirrored on the glass
of their frosted window.
Dim lights off , window opens
Hid are all their seesaw movements
Oh ,at last ! that awkward view now gone
But what I cannot see, I can still hear.
A light etheree ~ Just for the fun of it : )
if all were children
the world would be better
the world would be a playground,
if all were children
there’d be no tainted thoughts
no stains of bloodshed
the world would be pure
if all were children
there’d be equality without judgment,
a level of freedom and harmony
and living would balance like a seesaw
Delirious desires cackle
while spectres whirl
senselessly
On oceans' savage sway
blankets drenched
delusion
Humane hands, soft
spoken words
strengthen
Fickle health, a seesaw
feeds erratic mind
with despair

Conflagration
And seesaw whims
Those who can find
Hymns upon the mind
Them are saints
Them are of heart
Finishing, only at start.
Plentiful
Are the handsome.
And merciful
Are the blossom.
A bird sings upon my sill,
For it is the blossom
That sits upon them still.
The courage of man
It takes to begin,
For it is their conflagration
That can lead to sin.
