ON SECOND THOUGHT
    (An Allegorical Summation)

Who would have wondered and ever thought
That Alexander Pope would be as relevant today
As he was in those treacherous times when he penned
Those keloid words: To err is human, to forgive divine:-

Wow, must we here in these treacherous times of today,
Have forgiveness for chosen, known, and erred

On Second Thought

Present cannot set advantage
Over past, that seems like gone
Though it’s always on the verge
Of the memories you prone
To belong to, while intending
To break free from shades of time
Partly loosing understanding
Doesn’t look at all sublime
But it goes like Latin dictum
Drive the nature out of door
Then it flies back home to victim
Through the window, like before.

Second thought heart

Maybe I need solitude 
Romance requires work to do
Am I up to loving true
Is it enough to love you

Perhaps my muse is my mate
The onyx one who got away
And fills my sun with anticipate
Melted moon runs as night time sedates

Is the quest much more to digest
Than delivery of hearts sole quest 
He in the east

On Second Thought

The word 'If,' a genuine tower of power
    Just ask your better half this Sunday
  If I behave, If I'm a really, really, good boy

  Can we skip the long line at the restaurant
    on Mother's Day this year, please -- just this once

A Second Thought

It was a day unlike any other before, 
The day I wasn't alone anymore. 
A beautiful day, the sun in the sky,
The day I vowed to make you my guy.
On that day I found what I sought,
It was the day I gave love a second thought. 
I want you to know you've given me change

On Second Thought

For wisdom I thought sacred texts would suffice
Then I bowed my head and began to think twice
Some may take offence
But two thousand years hence
I pray those folks don't look back to us for advice

L-eave the evil deed behind, 
A-llow it not to make a mess.

G-ive it a second thought, 
A-im to turn a blind eye; 
S-tay away from alluring wrong, 
G-o think twice neath the sky.
A-s the thirteenth of February won't let your mind come to naught.

sometimes I wish 
I was never here 
on a second thought
I was made to be here 

sometimes I want to fight
on a second thought
I think about it outcome
if it worth it 

sometimes I wish for 
what I need 
what I don't have 
and It was ment to be 
my right 
I grow

ON SECOND THOUGHT
   On second thought, I've changed my mind,
We do nothing for ourselves but waste time.
   Day after day, week after week, we learn nothing,
Honestly, don't you think we should be doing something?
   Our minds being at an idol, the Devils playground they say,
With no effort at all,

On second thought please leave 
You promised kindness in your poetry
Which in the beginning was very sweet 
But on another site where jokes abound
You started treating me like a Hound
I tried to just ignore the mean ones
But now I think they're getting crass
And I won't be treated like an ...
So now when you go to

On second thought, I stand corrected;

We actually, truly are very connected;

Back and forth poems always sharing;

Things about them constantly comparing.


Maybe corrections may have to be made;

Then back and forth ideas we will trade

Until happy balance eventually do reach

The both do decide to stroll on the beach.


Should we write a poem about beach sand?

Pity Me, Or On Second Thought, Pity Them

What can I do?
My brethren - Dank. We are
not fit to wipe the asses of
these sons of the star of David -
and yet, we crush their horrid
corpsed lives beneath Nazi-issued
boots. We want to live, too.

Say I actually approach my
officer, pout, give him my best
spiel, if you will. His hand will
grope the trigger faster than the
breasts
