On Second Thought

On second thought please leave
You promised kindness in your poetry
Which in the beginning was very sweet
But on another site where jokes abound
You started treating me like a Hound
I tried to just ignore the mean ones
But now I think they're getting crass
And I won't be treated like an ...
So now when you go to that fabled inn
I think you'll find you are alone
but since your mind thinks of the physical
I'm sure you'll still find something to do
It won't be me, cuz I'm no longer yours

Thank you. I do love him, but is the love truly returned? Does love make fun of the beloved in a public forum? For example, most people who are overweight are already aware of it and don't need a reminder. In my case I have already been working to rid myself of the excess and have had some success. I was discouraged when some chose to see my current weight and criticize rather than encourage my efforts.
