Oh, How We Fell

Ancient howling came back to Earth
And before long more species followed
Some contested against this unnatural birth
But no one could deny it’s monetary worth
Then after a little - our world was swallowed

Even though we lacked a time machine
We ended back up in the Pliocene
  Then we fell
  We fell down and down
  Further down the chain
The more scientists screwed with the current domain

Some of us reverted back as well
Gathering and hunting, because our old-new world fell
Some would live and some would die
Kids were taken and mothers cried
The ones in white coats were mostly taken first
They were the ones who unleashed the curse

Cities got taken by giant birds
They roosted atop the buildings we built
Everywhere you went, a sound could be heard
The sound of blood being spilt
  Predators and their megafauna prey
Against each other make the worst sound I’ve heard to this day
But at least it’ll keep them fed
Sometimes that sound made me sleep more soundly in my bed

  Oh how the tables turn
And how we turned them till the world burned

Premium MemberDon't Trust The Sci-fi-ence

Way back a learned man tried to teach his
Students, the treatment of using leeches.
And to those who had doubting defiance,
They were told to, ‘Just trust the science.’

After all what’s wrong with bloodletting,
When good health is what you’ll be getting.
Yet sometimes leeching was overdone,
Which aided the death of George Washington.

Two hundred years ago some Calomel,
Was supposed to make sick patients well.
But some people cried out ‘It has cured me,’
To avoid ingesting more mercury.

And shockingly there’s coffee enemas,
To ease constipation dilemmas.
Yet its cure is just ‘pie-in-the-sky’,
Joining that list of cures, that are sci-fi.

Sci-fi persists with Coronavirus,
Since shots can bring on myocarditis.
Still, people long to be in compliance,
Coz for god’s sake, they trust the sci-fi-ence.

Why be like past sci-fi-ence enablers,
Who believe the paid off ‘expert’ fablers.
Why not take time to learn alternate views,
And debunk myths with good health and good news.

75 Years

HEY HEY HEY
No more fears
How long was I out there
Try 75 years.
Drifting alone
In the depths of space
Far from earth
And the human race.
Your lucky to be here
To tell you the truth
Cos I ain't joking
Cos this ain't no spoof.
The ship that found you
Way out there
Could have passed you bye
Without a care.
Alot has changed
Since you've been gone
For the material of time
You've been torn.
So it's welcome back
I could say
For the dawn of your new life
It starts today.

The Secret War

I've been in battles
Never seen before
All are top secret
To documents I swore.
Places so different
No one has seen
But when I got back
I was told it was a dream.
But I can remember running
Running so fast
Dodging bullets of light
And infernal blasts.
To say exactly
Where I've been
I really don't want to remember
What I have seen.
Everywhere around me
Seemed like a trap
But no one could ever
Place this on a map.
I remember the rules
No helmets off
For the air is so thin
Your definitely cough.
So where is this place
Cos I want to know
3 golden suns
In the sky that glow.
Scared to death
Each day a fright
So stars in the sky
For perpetual daylight.
I just won't except this
For it isn't a dream
In god's holy name
For where have I been.

The Time Paradox

Moving forth and backwards
In our own know three dimensions
Is understood and simple
It’s our basic comprehension.

Yet adding in an axial fourth
We become confused
Time just keeps on ticking
All our protests are refused.

Gravity affects the speed
At which our time proceeds
Yet always marching forward
Not affected by man’s deed.

To travel where we wish in time,
Is something we unable
To achieve but we should not
Remove it from the table.

To master temporal travel
Will always be the goal
But who knows what is lurking
Inside of a Black hole

Never giving up the hope
We’ll master it one day,
To travel to the time we want
Is just the human way.

Accepting limitations
Of the possibilities of time
Is how we will stay grounded
But to dream is not a crime.

So for now, keep on watching
Doc Brown and McFly
Time travel may be out there
Just keep reaching for the sky.

Alien Whore

I went in and Sioja was ready for me. Before we started I introduced myself and put the cash on the table. Pay before enjoying the goods. Sioja was orange skinned and had purple hair. It was all natural as was the third eye in the middle of her forehead. This was brilliant green and her normal eyes were dark brown. Her looks gave a startling contrast. Welcome after the strong blue sky and light brown desert.

Shift Galactic

Shift Galactic
The Space Turd was big
As large as an abnormal man
Three miles across
By a million wide

It moved here and there
Splatting moons and planets
Like a tennis ball

Universal destroyer of crap
Not caring who died
Its death list was long
On and on till the end
Would it kill all planets?

Thus voiding all life
So only blackness remained
All stars being full of crap

Just like my teenage enemies
Unleash the galactic turd
Space Turd is coming to Earth!

Mars flew out of orbit
Venus got rid of her gas
     Mercury sped past Pluto
     Jupiter shrunk her mass

     Saturn shed all her rings
     Neptune's water froze
     Uranus just flailed away
     Pluto's dog lost its nose

     The Solar System was freaking
     The 'Laws of Physics' creaking

The Contemplation of An Augmentation

Living layers of being tugged around scraps of lusterless metal shape the man who was
Or is it the other way around
He can not tell anymore
Improvements or subpar substitutions
He marches on despite his contemplation
The clang and tang of metal on metal echo from his right leg while the muffled thud of organic flesh whispers from his lesser left
He marches on
Imagine feeling where your blood stops flowing as if your veins have hit a metal door yet beyond its frame lay dancing ghost who mock your past
With every augmentation he advances yet diminishes his mortality and morality
Still he marches on
On assignment that must be completed
Computing
The command was entered, a reaction will occur, must occur
His ability for choice is doubtful yet feared
A semi-bionic time bomb ticking its way to a liberating explosion of conscience freedom
Until then he will march on

Sci-fi transports you to a place,
Unrestricted by time & space,
Leaves you cool, collected & calm;
As genres go, it be the bomb.

Sci Fi Banter

Unlike your Mr Asimov
Whom I hear likes Rachmaninoff

  My limericks are clean
the point clear to be seen

Perhaps he drinks too much Smirnoff!

Once long ago there was a clear blue sky
Where roamed free bird and butterfly
That’s when came the idea to super citify
And to pollution creators deify
All put their brain power to diversify

Silenced anyone who dared go awry
Soon mile high skyscrapers did gratify
And every square inch did occupy
Way too many to quantify
So it was nature they did damnify

Now skies are filled with traffic jams that horrify
Greenish rain waters that relentlessly acidify
Mountain-high billboard ads that do electrify
An extravagance of gadgets enough to stupefy
Implanted technology meant to dehumanify

In light of superfluity, let me just plainly oversimplify
Scientists need to eat a big piece of humble pie
There’s just no way to justify
Why colorful sunsets went by the by
And why no one remembers the aroma of apple pie

Sci-Fi Fantasy

Sci-fi fantasy, please come hence to me.
Show me wonder, space opera blunder.
Show the Galaxy, the worlds I must see.
A droid, a spaceship, through the stars I'll skip.
A rebel scout, to hear a wookie shout.
Oh if only! I had my fantasy!
I'd fire my laser. Wield my light saber.
I'd fly at warp speed. No rules would I heed.
I'd be a pirate. I would never quit.
Solo would envy. Faster than him, I'd be.
Even in the matrix, I'd get my kicks.
I'll take dystopian. You just say when.
Oh please! Oh please I beg! Bring forth to me.
My so well deserved, sci-fi fantasy.

Sci Fi Erotica

accelerate me

at the speed of light

into your event horizen

blue shift us together

closing the distance

between us

let your gravity

pull me in

fuse me

to your soul

bathe me

in gamma rays

shot from your nebula

let me study

the astro physics of your body

while we implode

with luminosity

eclipse me

an exploding quasar

drawn in

by your magnetic field

speak to me

whispers carried on stellar winds

we spiral

towards the center

filtered

through a cosmic screen

stars

being born again
