Faith and the schizophrenic

If God was not here
Who walked with me?
In that little room with a bit of light
Holding onto whispers of the mind
I've met the others
who call on your name
sign your name to messages
and have been locked away
Am I of the number?
Where is the line?
If God was not here
who was with me all the time?

starting
with learning
to spell
it correctly

then hearing
the chaos of sound
and voices
in the song
of silence

and then
waking up
on the wrong side
of the world

Schizophrenia

We are all schizophrenic-
But with minds that aren’t defined.
Wisping reality to a picture of
A reflection of our minds.

We all have mental illness
Or we all are men
Whose constant visions and desires
Create the what, where, when.

We all have gone half crazy,
Chasing all the naught.
Forgetting all we dreamed to become,
To carve a heart we sought.

We all are schizophrenic-
Making fact what we want it to be,
Combining all our lies and light
To form our own reality…

I lived once in a land before the light
where shadows ruled and terror was the king
Sable dark did fall upon me every night
and flittermouse did brush me with their wing.

There was no day to shine away the fear
so terror ruled, malignant, endless black;
eyes closed or open, demons still appear
and, as in life, to stab me in the back.

Darkness in my head, darkness in my soul,
and in them both, the devils now reside;
what little left of me has lost control.
Or did they simply ask, and I complied?

I still live in a land without the light;
where I can’t tell the daytime from the night.

Inner World Of A Tormented Mind

Like a dust that has been blown away
If I only had the chance to really say
But I can only stand on the dock of a bay
Within this soul there is a empty world inside
With no one near or anybody far
Not even a single wound or a mere scar
No love, hate or pride
Just a place where I can hide
Cry alone, sit down and gaze at the sky
A perfect world brought on by my mind
Strange that this is not the same outside
If only my mind could let me blend in
Release this soul from the pain
Like the person who was just born again
If I only had the chance to really say
But just like the dust
I've been blown away
Away from the breath of life
Stuck inside this world made up by my mind
A silent peaceful lonely world, island paradise
But I doubt this is the reality I yearned for
This soul just want to go outdoors
Be free and discover the meaning of the real world
But just like the dust
I've been blown away

Jekyll and Hyde decided to entwine,
remaining at all times fully aware,
that come what may, they needed to align
with pulse of love, for which they must outstare
cravings of ego, which they must decline,
by remaining still, life’s ultimate dare.
In the womb of love opposites dissolve,
paving way for both of them to evolve.

The Dreaded Schizophrenic

A shadow walks where silence bends,
With whispering ghosts that call as friends.
The mirror lies with fractured grace,
A thousand eyes behind one face.

He hums a song that no one hears,
Drowning doubt in static fears.
Clocks melt slow, then race ahead—
Each second stitched with ancient dread.

A prophet’s tongue in twisted speech,
Reaches truths we cannot reach.
Reality’s thread, too thin to bind,
Unravels slow inside his mind.

What cage could hold a world so wide?
What map could chart the rift inside?
The crowd recoils, they do not see
The cost of fractured clarity.

He laughs. He weeps. He disappears.
And dreams alone for all our fears.

Escaping The Silence

Vitamins, chained to shallow waters. Buried in a cave. Below the world. I stand ready. Waiting for more. Seeds of sorrow planted deep.
Mercy or remorse. Shadows aside I sense you near me.
Nightly rain sparks my soul. Sheer pain take over the globe.
Holding fast to what brings comfort. Joy and Bliss belong to us all.
Ascend the sky and mount her clouds.
Journey toward the visions end.
Cosmic peace and faith to follow the wind. Wisdom in bundles.
Hope restored insight to seek the waves.
Questions tempt us to answer our calling.
Shape the stone and crave it into life.
Knocking the wall down.
Doom quakes the foundation of the earth.
He drew a deer that fled toward our home.
Still I stand in delight craving my own stillness.
Meet the owl as it screeches like a bell.

Schizophrenia

Talking to themselves, unseen threads,
Weaving webs that tangle truth and lies,
A mind adrift in fractured, stormy seas,
Where loved ones cast out lifelines, but are refused.

Through hollow eyes, they search for someone lost,
A soul entangled in a world of broken glass,
We ache to hold the pieces, make them whole,
But they refuse the balm that quiets the storms.

Their world spins wild, a vortex pulling down,
We’re left to tread the chaos they embrace,
Prayers fall like leaves, unheard, unanswered cries,
We beg them to return, to take the cure,
But they retreat, resist the hand we give.

And still we love, though breaking at the seams,
A battle fought in silence, heard by other's yet unseen.

Darkness Over Taken By Light

Waves of terror shock my core. Divided by silence ever more.
Echoes of rocks falling from my grave, A river flowing toward another day.
As time moves on, the shelter holds us forever strong.
Questions of madness arise and I am Wakened into this morning fright.
When I sang songs from a distance, they warned me I was only missing.
Recall moments of oblivion, as shadows cling to my existence.
Darkness has not overcome us and Our light guides us through this storm.
Will justice take us toward the oceans edge, can emerald skies give us peace or will we watch the end tonight?
Hunger gathers stars that do not move. the wandering lights get me into my groove. Cast diamonds off toward the Abyss. In void I sought my answers and kings bent their knees to the roses.

Delusion

Delusion must be a comforting thing;
To see the world just how you like.
To give you purpose every day
And let reality take a hike.

But don't be troubled
When I say that;
Delusion
Is just
fine
For the psychopaths and the egg shell brained, swimming in life's brine

The Rain

I f*cking love the rain.
Storms are even better.
I love to hear of your canceled plans
As you stand there, getting wetter

I adore the miserable faces it brings
To everyone but me
I ache for the sound of chain it makes
As it rattles absently

If my friend is joined by thunder, lightning, floods and all;
I feel awash and truly blessed,
By the sway of it all

What occurs so blissful to me
in the symphony of splash,
Is the the 200 voices that are in my head;
Concur rather than clash

Begin The Dance

Washing the clouds away, dreaming of lemon and minty tea. Open to follow the tide. Waiting for lights to guide my way. Yoking to paradise. Junking the fires into the rain. Kneeling to Heaven on silent praise. Holding my peace as love echoes her name. She is the moonlit star, the shadow Queen who defeated the dark. Zipping toward flowers and tender grace. Nothing but stillness showed me I am given sight. Heavy snow and colder waves break down the fallen pain. I screamed at the dawn it was silent like I was just a passing song. Rivers give way to my garden wall. Planting the seeds to raise the Tao.

Love Divides

In concert with the dimming sun
I rise to greet the day
Walk fast in joyous warmth
Under stars refrain
Heights of shadows coat the moon
Turning toward the ocean waves
In concert with the morning gloom
My heart now seems to fade

When did you start hearing voices,
when did they start making choices
to determine your world

and crack that first bottle
or did the first pipe full smash on the throttle
sending you racing

downhill into the unescapable maze,
driving deeper into the dense purple haze
of paranoia?

I don't see the people you say are watching,
or the man living under the floorboards
and the plan he is notching

to murder you while you sleep,
if the drones "they" keep sending
don't sweep in and reap

your forma mentis for metanalysis,
or psychoscopic phenomenographic cogitation,
or steal your cannabis first,

and I can barely comprehend;
your unreal reality is a fine damned
mess for the rest of us!
