Scarcity Poems

Scarcity created by Those that Steal Our Abundance

Abject poverty it is said,
must actually be honed,
Then cultivated and even forced bred,
This necessarily includes paper money of course, since they print it for free, offset by our taxes a means to oppress us indefinitely, at a rate of insatiable imposed debt by an inflated and obtruse nihilistic force,

These aspects are

Premium MemberMurdering the CEO

When the frustrated socialist sees that health care isn't free
He turns into a killer, claims he's saving you and me
He murders a CEO, to make a point, because he could
For the goal of perfection is the enemy of the good

He gets adulation from those who think healthcare is a right
They think profit is the devil,

December Can Be a Cruel Month

December is a cruel month
an enabler of declines
with the illusion of being the end of time...
but the beginning of the downfall
after the greed readjustments.
beginning of the year the profit agenda
unbridled threatens the weak poet
is in macroeconomics....!
Poor imaginative creator!
faces reality
of the high costs of living...
Unthinkable expenses affront him!
Search for help that will not arrive,
because no one

A Scarcity of An Individual

As I move my body vigorously
Announce it, announce it
As I sharpen my pencil
Relate to it
Playing with my tongue
Oooh, this is a mouthful

As I reap the fruits of my work
Announce it, announce it
Enjoying the flexibility of my tongue
As I start to write
Honouring my words
Showing off my intelligence
Oooh, am I done yet

A Reaction To Fuel Scarcity

The by-nature amiable Peter
Is now inconsolably bitter:
At a filling station, a protesting sitter
After his supplied mere one liter
For this vulgarly insulting pump attendant Rita
And threatening obscenities much fitter…

But smiling Rita didn’t away words fritter
Her sagacious silence proving the better hitter
And smoldering Peter more reasons are given to grow heady,
His long taut nerves refusing to steady:
For

So much of what is frothy babble
is laid before us as a truth when in truth
it is but frothy babble.
Each shiny coin newly mined and minted
with a fragrance green as the grasses
passes for a personage we would gather.
Coins as friends,
Ends justifying means,
The aftermath of fruitful beans.
Upon a curved light borne
he hones his friendships
as slivers

A Scarcity Most Bittersweet

A scarcity most bittersweet;
The scarcity of years
Troubles not the days of youth,
But - in time- appears

The dwindling of our moments,
A universal dread
The dying count as beggars,
The bankrupt count as dead

Society Is Scarcity

Society is but a volatile brew of a lucky few, and plenty of:

Philosophers without portfolio,
Scholars without power,
Able men in a crippled world,
Visionaries weary of worry,
Artists bereft of brushes,
Patient men ensnared by a rush,
Actors craving for a costume,
Pioneers ruined by pedantic loons,
And simple men seeking the delight
Of a quiet easeful life!

Society is

They Call It Fuel Scarcity

The nation in question is a world largest oil exporter
It citizens is be deprived of what she has
Involuntarily long queues from night
In petrol stations till dawn outside the same stations
Makes the danfo drivers angry and happy with price hike
Who will be sorry for the stranded commuters
Is it the profitless street sellers
Or the red hotted

Adversity of Scarcity

Besieged by scarcity, they have fallen,
fallen into adversity
— the adversity of scarcity

The rain falls, but their seeds grow not
There is plenty, but their belly is empty
They are the fallen, down by adversity
— the adversity of scarcity

Plenty to go around, yet they get not a morsel
They are muzzled, for they have no muscle

To
