Plain white grains without flavour
Thousands in a bowl
Crown jewel of the table
How satiating
All dish pairs well with
Soft, steaming
Rice!

Dawning

No greater gift do I have than me.
To give all that I be, weakness and steel,
Handed unafraid, exuberantly tossed,
Into union where none became one.
~~
Innocence dares not question
The mating, as fear slinks away, premonitions abound.
Requited concubine hybrid, happiness,
Relishes its renewed tug-o-war with joy.
~~
To the birth. Beyond life.
Gossamer emotions cancel idiot notions
Categorizing songs as just notations,
Crimson rosebuds as just flora.
~~
Unscheduled, my realm shatters it’s cocoon.
Aromas from nascent recipes
Tease ravishing appetites that crave a tasting
Of essences sneering at mere existence.
~~
Forming a queue, foaming at the prospect,
Of satiating hungers awakening from
Pre-eternal shackled hibernations.
And at first bite…
~~
The soul’s pre-natal starvation
Is erased by eucharistic intimacy
Of the infant us.
“Mornin’, Eve…”

Premium MemberPickle Party On Display

Ladies and gentlemen, and all the rest
We do entertain you to the fullest
As pickle members of well-being zest
Showing functional roles for healthy quest
Making us thank God*, we’re uniquely blest!

Ready are we to show our savory best
Sizzling loudly, exuding flavor’s jest
Behold our spices strong in challenging taste test
Mustard seed, chili powder belt song-fest
While turmeric yodels from choir loft nest!

Onstage are fresh herbs lilting with delight
Ginger, onion, garlic, dill … sway to flight
Along salt and vinegar’s graceful might
Ecstatic midst olive oil’s waltzing sprite
Satiating awesomely everyone’s appetite!

Molasses, alum rise to freedom height
Swirling around cucumbers’ soaring sight
As crispy carrots with shrimps glide aright
Bottled on display for dieters’ plight---
In our party, you’re welcome --- since we palatably invite!

*In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Premium MemberBlackberries

blackberries relished, picked, coated
with sugar, fingers deliciously stained.
the tonic bumps twirl with my tongue
the sweetness and berry bravado
of childhood, picking and tasting
this satiating serendipity for one.
i wonder if my sisters and brother
found the wild bramble?
or is it all mine -
this mine of sweet black fruit.

Premium MemberThat Cologne

That cologne was the aroma of her love, I was sure,
Spirit within her crystal-like innocence finely pure;
Innateness born in her at very time of conception,
Divine decorum that pervaded her each perception...!

Herbal, spicy, floral perfume of her perfect psyche,
Within flutter fancies flawlessly like flowery niche;
Cherubim and Seraphim flying midst clouds of heaven,
Fairy of finest form, fascinated in clouds seven...!

And her fleshy fussy feminist fiber and flavor,
That, like satiating honey, ceaselessly I savor;
Beauty within and without; and her virtuous morals,
Amalgamation of wisdom and wit and love-laurels...!

Nail and flesh like combination of care and compassion,
Toward love-filled-reciprocity her endless passion;
These precious pearls have become parts of my lasting treasures,
Fragrance of this frankincense maddens me beyond measures...!

Kryptonite

you knew the feeling of weakness,
the tremble of your famished body,
the restless mope of a spirit,
groveling tired thoughts.
but then. . .

you laid eyes upon him,
you discovered another weakness,
fustigated with heart palpitations,
insides nerved with desire,
languid with infatuation.

a predilection of the soul,
your heart unwavering with love,
for he who made your body weak
makes you drown in exuberance too.
heart and mind perplexed in reactions.

how can his mere presence,
make you aberrate from yourself?
stoked in oblivescence of yesterday,
he becomes your now, your today
and everyday - satiating every thought.

he overpowers your senses,
your feelings, your gullibility to believe,
you are capitulated to his being
as someone who carries your world,
you needed him, you prayed for him.

but you couldn't have him,
you could never touch him,
you could not dream of him,
yet you were candidly in love
with a man who was your
kryptonite.

Labelled once as relaxation station
a brothel I was... that offered my hospitality expertise
catering to human nature lusts
meeting carnal cravings
satiating fleshly appetites…

...yet…

the stigma of being a home-wrecker
along accusation and the reality
of being an illegal den of promiscuity
made me guilty, seeing aborted babies
while enriching my operators…

...thus…

grateful am I for laws striving to close my establishment
persevering to end my pleasurable pursuits
(lurking through prostitution leisure I'm ashamed of)
toward prioritizing peace in the family
midst home and community welfare
as God has wondrously designed in His goodness*.

Psalm 33:5 He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

Back Again

Ribbons, balloons, toffees and cakes
Nice celebration all that makes
Satiating food and desserts to follow
No celebration ever should go hollow

Long time friends arrive to meet and greet
to reassure, land stays beneath our feet
Golden times and memories to recall
to ensure, our ambitions stay tall

Hopes, plans and resolve for future
Dreams and aspirations to nurture
Its no more only about the wealth
But the sanity, happiness and health

Be it the Sunshine or the Rain
I want the life large, back again

A Night of Horror

Black cats and witches on brooms,
Skeletons emerging out of their tombs.
Eerie bats with bloodshot eyes,
Pale, evil ghosts who all demonize.

Monsters crawling through the night,
Giving all a terrible fright.
The dead come alive in the wintry darkness,
A horrid creature creeping through the window, faceless.

Zombies feasting on squishy warm brains,
In the air the smell of raw flesh remains.
Blood curdling shrieks from dungeons below,
As a ghoulish alien walks by very slow.

Vampires with blood trickling down their fangs,
Satiating their intense hunger pangs.
The Devil was truly diabolical in his ways,
Using trickery to lure kids into dingy hallways.

Kids on the street paralyzed with fear,
Expecting abduction from anything near.
Whispering cautionary words to each other,
They held on tight to one another.

Now we shall wait to go trick or treating again,
And smash creepy pumpkins that we obtain.
By and far the scariest Halloween anyone had seen,
Young and old won't forget this bone-chilling scene.

Premium MemberFable of Romance

Oh, my darling, how passionately you whisper to me
Secrets of forbidden love, titillating magical feelings
Mesmerizing romantic night in blossoms of dreams
Beckoning to heavens above to fulfill sweet fantasy
Alluring sensuous desires twinkling in glistening skies
As I feel your vibes, sparkling in your glamorous eyes.

Ah! river’s serene zeal rejoices your sensuous appeal
Rippling exhilaration emanating from tranquil stream
Sensing my arrival in tenor of soft midnight breeze
Rustling shamrock leaves echoing hearts’ tender music
As melodies of doting souls warble from smitten trees
Jubilant in aspirations, mythical fascinations reveal.

Chasing earthly passions in rhythms of ecstatic ballad
Oh, how I, quixotic star, inflame in your cuddling arms
Crooning breaths on sensual lips, answering you call
Satiating night you vied for, till I part at stroke of dawn
Leaving behind part me to forever cheer your heart
Inscribing upon eternal memories, fable of romance.

Premium MemberAmbrosia of Joy

Surging storm splitting apart the falling sky
blows with harrowing fury through static mind,
flaring wrath burns akin to blazing badland bush,
scorching dry soul to a stack of still ash.

Sky would go up high again, construct clouds,
adrift from fading ruins of missing horizon,
dissolving painful mind constantly dripping
slant drops of pouring rain of dismal sorrow.

In squally gust clumps of cloud drift away far,
as shining stars glow bright in moonlit glossy sky,
through radiant air satin surf of stardust wafts,
making in my mind an aura of astral glow.

On topography of soul brook of jubilation flows,
satiating my thirsty spirit, and I would want it
to always drink ambrosia of joy without hiatus,
and sail on winds of rhapsody to bay of bliss.

My World Without You, My Poesy

When you are with no companion
and no one can read your very silence

When you are brimmed with joy
and you find no sign of warmth

When your solitude is lonely
and you cease to feel the wonder

When no single wave in the air
and you have a longing to breathe

When your heart denies its throbs
and your tone becomes still and cold

When none can hear the drops of your wounds
and you can't even swallow your sighs

When the night has no stars in his sky
and no dream dares showing a face

When no other alluring path to walk
and no thirst to reach satiating founts

When both, mind and heart share your pen
and no single paper in your den

How couldn't there be a life
that would save lives!

How can I envision my world
without you, my poesy!

Premium MemberSatiating Dreams of Forbidden Themes

Desires whisper in shadow of Venus
And seduce intentions of clandestine love
As rhythms attuned to romantic beats
Pulsate zealously in galactic utopia.

Bashful moon titillates lustrous vibes
In interstellar space of floating nebulae
As symphony of emotions arouses
Throbbing hearts in exotic euphoria.

Sizzling bodies elevate mystical aura
Flooding blood-veins’ cosmic jubilation
And longings waltz on sensuous clouds
As jolt of excitement inflames bosoms.

A tango of passions presents a ballet
For one more spin on planetary stage
High on elation of moonlit ecstasy
Savoring kisses of heavenly blessings,

Satiating dreams of forbidden themes
Unlocking secrets of mysterious galaxy.

Premium MemberFor There Abide - An Ode To Bacon

For there abide beef, pork and chicken
and the greatest of these is bacon
hot sizzling crispy to the tongue
satiating succulently scrumptious bacon.

For bacon curries no favor
plays the field tempts the stoic and saintly
slides into gustatorial beds
romps with tomato and lettuce
hangs out with eggs, hard boiled and soft
mocks the ten condiments
bathes in the sinful seven
is prideful
lusts after
the last greed filled bite
of gluttony
provokes the envy
of slothful
greasy lust.

Ah, bacon
you grease the skids
of dietary destruction
stalk the fat cells
of cellulitic cravings
tempt the tendrils of scent
with your aphrodisial aroma
inducing a pheromonal fling.

Oh bacon
you promiscuous panderer
curvaceous little porker
I believe
I trust
I lust
in and after your truth.
