A Night of Horror
Black cats and witches on brooms,
Skeletons emerging out of their tombs.
Eerie bats with bloodshot eyes,
Pale, evil ghosts who all demonize.
Monsters crawling through the night,
Giving all a terrible fright.
The dead come alive in the wintry darkness,
A horrid creature creeping through the window, faceless.
Zombies feasting on squishy warm brains,
In the air the smell of raw flesh remains.
Blood curdling shrieks from dungeons below,
As a ghoulish alien walks by very slow.
Vampires with blood trickling down their fangs,
Satiating their intense hunger pangs.
The Devil was truly diabolical in his ways,
Using trickery to lure kids into dingy hallways.
Kids on the street paralyzed with fear,
Expecting abduction from anything near.
Whispering cautionary words to each other,
They held on tight to one another.
Now we shall wait to go trick or treating again,
And smash creepy pumpkins that we obtain.
By and far the scariest Halloween anyone had seen,
Young and old won't forget this bone-chilling scene.
