PARABLES

Son of God. Son of Man.
Here on earth, He took a stand.
And walked among mortal souls
Shared His ways and stories told
Wisdom, counsel, common sense
In parables His Word He sent

The sower and the seed
Some grew, some went to weeds.

The beloved son who went astray
But was welcomed back another day.

There once was time

There were many to wine and dine
Any place at any time,
Now, they’ve vanished into thin air

He went out from Jerusalem and as he went his way
Some thieves came by and beat him and left him there to stay.
The priest saw his condition, walked on the other side;
The Levite, too, passed by him, too caught up in his pride.
