WISDOM TEETH

Maybe your February smells the same as my October
Or maybe something tastes the same
Perhaps the beat of our song sounds the same
As your laugh
And the bass tempo is different
And the drum beat is slightly off
I don’t know if I can tell the difference
Between a good change
And a bad change
Maybe you just make me want to experience both
And my jaw hurts
While you become the roman road
To my Egyptian pyramid
And the smell of rain on hot pavement
Sends my senses into overdrive
It lingers
While my memories of February slowly fade
Like steam on the bathroom mirror
While I spit blood into the sink
They dissipate

the kintsugi night

Have you seen how nights are?
Sometimes glowy but sometimes dull and dark
Doesn’t always show us the stars
Because she preferred self sabotage

Scars of being replaced by the morning
Scars of not shining as bright as she could
Scars of not being appreciated for trying
Scars that couldn’t be comforted by the moon
For he had his own phase
And I, dreamt of a place

Where mornings didn’t exist
But here trees couldn’t spread their radiance
Butterflies didn’t show their grace
And colours couldn’t reflect light

How sad would be the man
Who hoped for the sun to rise
Night learnt how she isn’t meant to be perfect
For the man now wanted twilight’s disguise

Have you seen how nights are?
Doesn’t always show us the stars
For she was healing her scars
And this time it looked like a kintsugi art

He Is Dead

Hear them pray for the last time,
their leather boots no protection still.
Listen to the church bell chime.
Hear the men ordering to kill.

Turn off the radio.
Stop the birds sing.
Let her know what she already owe.
Let the soldiers have that final drink.

Tell them that all’s fair in love and war
Tell them the trenches should become their home
The scream of the dying they ignore
As they recite a funeral poem

His mother is crying
And His brother is dying
Now he stands still
As finally he starts flying.

The stars are not wanted anymore;
put out every one.
Lay him down in the cold floor
and lay down all the guns.

Write out the message ‘he is dead’,
and let the sky bleed out that rich red.

Saddness 2

I didnt know I needed you.
Or that this feeling existed.
I didn’t know I was only part of a person,
Do you feel it, too?
Your heart looks like heaven,
I think.
But, theres something about you,
Isn't there?
I’m pushing at an invisible door,
My bleeding lungs pleading
To let me breathe you in completely
Connect your freckles with my kisses
My fingertips trace sweet words across your perfect body..
But, you’re forever just out of my reach.
A wall built of perpetual anxiety prevents making us complete.
I cry out your name and the taste of copper fills my mouth.
And I cant help but wonder “will i just get lost in the crowd?”
“Did it matter? Was it real?
These questions they haunt me,
the villian screaming in my ear at 2AM Continues to taunt me
He pounds his fist repeatedly into my temple to remind me im not loved.
How dare I rest, he’ll hiss.
I just nod, and submit.

Empathy For the Helpless

So many hurting people,
Wounded with old hurts and new.
Blood long dried but never tended,
What oh what are we to do?

So many displaced people,
Searching, seeking to belong.
Wet tears in solitary darkness.
Hear their melancholy song.

Christ can heal the broken hearted
He loves the sinner oh so much.
He is acquainted with their sorrows
He can heal them with his touch.

But who oh who will carry tidings?
Who will help them find their way?
Church awake the light is fading
Who will preach? And who will pray?

Monster In Your Pocket

When we first met you carried him in your pocket,
Strange ugly little thing, tied to a string.
I thought it odd that you would carry such a pet,
Yet who was I to say what you could do?

Later he grew larger and you put him in a box,
He'd make funny noises while we cuddled neath the moon,
Neatly hidden as our love progressed,
Who was I to say what you could do?

We married and you tied him in the yard,
In the back away from public view.
He bellowed like the Devil in the night
Yet who was I to say what you could do?

Sometimes when you fed him, you'd come in,
With bloody feet and torn clothes.
I salved and bandaged all your wounds,
For who was I to say what you could do?

You spend all your time now in the yard,
Alone I watch you out the window and I pray.
While He gnaws at your body and your soul,
Yet who was I to say what you could do?

Now I can hear you crying in the yard,
I see him as he starts to eat you whole.
Oh why would you want him as a pet?
But who was I to say what you could do?

Premium Member Gone Away Is the Saddness In Jesus Name-

1.	Gone away is the sadness
That I once displayed
Now that I’ve found hope in guidance in Jesus

In Jesus name

Trials and tribulations arising
I now fly o’ver them
No longer do I stay engaged in them
I overcome them

In Jesus name, In Jesus name
I am a conqueror
In Jesus name
I am a warrior, a King of My Kingdom
In Jesus name
I am Free in mine freedom

And I am saved and marvelousnessly prayed on
I am ever covered prayed for, grace is abundant
No need to be running God’s got this

In Jesus name

A Place At the Table

A Place At The Table

A place at the table,
Empty for years.
The echo of laughter,
My face wet with tears.

Life full of heartache,
Two empty chairs.
The questions in darkness,
The unanswered prayers.

Two little Babies
Who never have cried.
Why did God take you?
Why have you died.

Who were you my darlings?
Who might you have been?
Innocent children,
Untarnished by sin.

Room at the table,
Soup in the pot!
Love freely given ,
I miss you a lot.

But God has His reasons,
I'll see you some day.
I must trust His wisdom,
It's better that way.

You are waiting there with Him.
I know that is true.
But ever so sadly,
I wait here for you.

Be sure this story,
Is not over yet.
Because a good Mother,
Never forgets.

The Thief

The Thief

He did so much to make me love him.
Wildflowers on a summer's day;
A lone carnation after dinner.
A kiss beneath the midnight moon.

Oh yes, he did so much;
Crime was stacked, on top of atrocity.
A walk in the gentle rain,
A stroll in the forest.

He worked so hard to make me love him.
His back was broad;
His arms were strong and brown.
His hair the color of chesnuts.

He did so much to make me love him.
His dark liquid eyes, would drink me in,
He made me feel every bit a woman.
And that I was beautiful in his sight.

He built a love,
Strong enough to last forever;
Then in one inexplicable moment
He was gone.

Gone like Pluto back to Hades;
Lost forever in the night.
A part of me went with him;
Lost forever in the dark.

He worked so hard to make me love him.
Then like a thief he went away,
It was like a cruel joke, that lasts forever.
I think I love him still.

Absorb Happiness and Reject Saddness

"love the one who loves 'U';
 ignore the one who ignores 'U';
 spread the happiness around 'U';
 leave the sadness behind 'U';
 keep a smile always on 'U';
follow your heart to find a right way for 'U' ".

Alone

The night has become my dearest friend
I can hide from prying eyes and loud rough knocks on my door
i need no excuse to lie down as I pull my phone up close and put it on busy
No explanation needed as i say my message on my Voivemail that i am unavailable
and so i am ..to you and you and you
For you do not know my problems..laughable to you
but the mistake i made in coming here is very clear..
No choice you say,,that is right and for that reason i am
And no other but you will not see me or hear from me or talk
Just an occasional quote or picture to let you know I am alive
Another cold night in a hot steamy room
As i get bitten in my sleep and dread the morn and the knocks on the door..i shall not answer.

Aug 2018

From My Diary Combination of Happiness and Saddness

The year of my parents dreadful divorce
Lived with Mom and Aunt in another state
Changes came coupled with countless remorse
Feelings you just couldn't anticipate

On farm of two hundred green acres
Included barn, bats and dog named Happy
Bare back horse riding was there for takers
Maple trees juicy, tastefully sappy

That Christmas year was strangely different
Cousins, matriarchs and I rejoicing
Group of us managed to find reverent
Home made gifts of hide and seek, songs voicing

For me, 'twas a year full of sweet and sour
Testing our resilience and power

Saddness

I've fallen apart inside
My saddness is hard to hide,
        I got an overwhelming headache
      from my devestating heartbreak
I feel sick and lost because I lost someone I love,
Feeling like I'm living the worst nightmare you could ever think of.
It's critical the way I feel
It's a deep pain that can never be healed
                         I just wanna runaway
Somewhere very far to see a brighter day
                     Just know accidents causes heartbreaks
I lost someone so real never fake.
He's in heaven now because only the best God will take.

Saddness In the Sky

Saddness in the sky ,
brings tears to my eyes
as the wind blows,
I know that Ahayias Cup Runneth Over.

The clouds are gray,
full from the burdens of a day.
While tears from the Earth
reach his heart.

Sometimes winds blow hard,
and trees sway from side to side,
as they assure us that he is rocking us,
like a mother does her child.

But yet tears fill his eyes,
and saddness fills the skys.
I do understand why he cries,
It's because he tries oh yes, he tries
to warn us before we do anything
but we don't listen.

And then we cry, so does the sky's
they are crying with us.
But joy commeth in the morning.
As we sleep, he watches over us and makes
all things right.

And then the saddness leaves
and all that is left is the sunlight.
