A Saddle in hand

a stunning juxtaposition
the snows of June
days away from july
a blanking of thickened climatation
the something that is in the middle
the arrival of summer bought snow
werest the snows of winter
a summertime spectacle
------------------------------
"the thickened blanketed
 snowy climation"
------------------------------

 A poetic
  metaphorical expression
 describing an unnatural,
 unseasonable return of
winter conditions during
 the early summer.
 It evokes the visual image
 of a thick, insulating layer
 of snow settling
on the summer landscape

Saddle Up

Symbols and signs,
Revealing the Divine,
I shine in my own time,
Climbing into your awareness,
Sharing in this experience,
I take a chance to light you up,
My cup full of information,
An imagination of creation,
Stationing myself for all to see,
The fire rising inside of me,
Blazing a path to eternity,
I burn through every entity,
Electricity is the force in you,
Use it to make it through,
The gauntlet within you,
View it from another angle,
A sign from an Angel,
A symbol to change,
Rearrange your thoughts,
You were taught to be small,
Crawl out from the stone,
We are not alone,
You've been shown the sign,
You are divine,
Align with the force,
Saddle up the fire horse,
Of course there is fear,
That is why you are here,
Clear away the old ways,
Stay true to you,
Through all the trials,
Smile at what you can do,
With the fire rising inside you.

Premium Member Stephen Hawking Seems to Think It's Saddle-Shaped

I'm eating a hot dog for breakfast
With mustard and ketchup
Watching lecture 18 of
'How to Listen to & Understand Opera'
Sometimes it's pain au chocolat,
But I'm in pain getting in the car at
6:41am; I drive in the darkness
Cuckoos, frightened birds,
Donkey-Jupiter, hurdy-gurdy
Tears, sorrow, cries
I hear the clouds -
See a chariot drawn by two frogs
I say out loud, "That's a mad silhouette of a person."
Such a description may well give the
Impression that the Earth is out of sorts
And every morning, this is the
Birth of comedy

I check the football news
There was a punch-up at the end of yesterday's game.
"Look how happy the crowd is to see a man being strangled."
The pig is in the poke.

The Saddle Waits

The sunrise paints the prairie gold,
The breeze still hums that tune of old,
Where once I’d ride with reins held tight,
Now I rock through the hush of night.

My boots sit still by the old back door,
Dusty dreams from days before.
The saddle waits on its wooden stand—
But now I hold life in my hands.

No roundup calls, no cattle cry,
Just lullabies and baby sighs.
I traded spurs for whispered songs,
And sleepless nights that stretch so long.

But oh, my heart—it rides each day,
Through love too fierce to drift away.
Though trails are quiet, and horses rest,
This little one is my newest west.

I miss the wind, the leather’s creak,
The freedom dancing on my cheek.
But I would choose this soft-eyed view
A thousand times, and all anew.

Someday soon, I’ll saddle high,
With baby watching, bright and spry.
We’ll ride again—me and the sky—
But for now, it’s lullabies.

THE SADDLE

The guy sold the saddle off his rack
To a two-bid gunslinger named Pack
Who held out his gun
And dared him to run
Then shot the shirt off his back

Saddle My Horse and Get Mi Coat

gotta be evasive of worldy things
gotta keep it straight
broken arrows
won't fly anyway
tryna watch my mouth
be careful of what
I say
tender feelings bruised hearts
and love
never mixed anyway
check my regimene
nd keep my back straight
lack of proper posture
won't let it the way
I aint supped
better get sumthing
clear minded and
a fresh start
is the best catalyst for change

get my saddle ready
be back after while
grab my gladbag
I might something to snack on
still warm out
Baby I see ya later
be back in a while
i'll be back in a while

check my feelings at the door
My Baby don't want me any more
Looked me in the eye and said
she never did
said the weddings off
And I can go
said everything was just a show
get it right
she called me ah buster
said she refrained
as much as she could muster
told me I can find ah' nutha

get my coat
saddle my horse
clear my throat
change my voice
deep inside
what I want to say
but won't matter any way

Premium Member Refurbished Legends: Pecos Bill Or Tall In the Saddle

There is a legend of a cowboy down in Texas
To whom they give the sobriquet of Pecos Bill.
It's said he rooted and he tooted
As across the plains he scooted,
Stetsoned, jeaned, bowlegged, and booted,
Pursuing cows and wooing gals
As was his skill.

The story goes one day while Bill was out romancing,
A cyclone came and rudely whisked the gal away.
He hopped atop the thing to ride it,
Quickly lassoed and hogtied it,
Then none the worse for wear and tear and rough foreplay,
Out stepped the gal,
And Pecos Bill had saved the day.

Now, legends often tend to get a bit inflated,
And this one here is no exception to the rule.
Some say it's too exaggerated,
I say it's well imaginated.
Like alimony oilmen often pay their exes,
Things are always so much bigger down in Texas.
Of course, it's hogwash, rubbish, bunk,
And yet how often have I thunk
That the tale of Pecos Bill is kinda cool.

Change the walnuts to pecan and add some

While riding my bike down a lane
I felt an incredible pain
I was astraddle
Without my saddle
That's something I won't do again!

A Well Worn Saddle

The beauty of a well worn saddle
If only it could speak of its earlier days
It’s wear tells a story, marred by the rub of denim on the open range
The saddle soap stain; mottled by an early spring rain
The busted stitches; the remnants from a horse’s mane
It’s decorative leather tassels weathered and frayed
Manifesting a story of harder days
We can gather much by the saddles tattered worn sight
The leather reveals the cowboy riding, day and night
Driving a herd as the cattle dogs snip and bite
Busting a covey of bobwhites
O’ the irony of a saddles tale
The loneliness, the camaraderie, the serenity of life on the trail
The wear tells a story, the beauty of a saddle, worn well

Saddle Soar

I won't be the first cowboy
to chase a mare without reigns,
across wide and wild oat fields,
summer heat, and pouring rains,

and no one will be the last,
for Love's pursuit never ends.
No saddle sore can throw me off,
when Beauty my soul befriends.

Every dream's worth the chase.
Don't resist the one you love,
for she shall lift you to heights
that smile on you from high above.

Permante Fixtures

We heard that she and he were
together.
If this man knew what we know.
Maybe he'd stop to think things over.
Now he nelived that she was married with children.
Wrong! She never married
and had no children.
She told him this to gain
attention and to have words to negocate
her being with him.
To allow him to speak words of
marrage
to elimante the dating process.
Now since we have told you
of her trickery, might
you tell him
that we can stop acting odd around him.
we whisper about this amonst one another.
It has made even the angerest peoples
in our fair community stop and speak on this.
Comparing there own dumbness with women to
this one. Terll this man what has transpired
that he can bring some normality to these peoplez!
She wishes him to tend to her animals
and build her house. They might marry
if he does we will speak him a fool!

Premium Member Back In the Saddle

Back in the saddle, a familiar old tune
Ain't as agile as when I was a young buffoon
Drove girls squirrelly
With lingo so syrupy
Talk of the town even made old grannies swoon

Misty

Majestically standing in the field,
Black coat shiny, bright and sleek,
Pampered and good-natured,
Recently shod to ride,
Comfortable saddle to sit upon,
Whinnied to say "come on",
Spirited you want to run,
To own and ride a horse is a blessing not a chore,
Treat them right they will be loyal to the core,
Mistreat them !!!!!!!! Beware they kick.
