five nights at freddys is not where i wanna be, fried rice at eddies has more nutritional stuff to eat.
Treacherous invaders ever growing,
in dark, damp places always showing,
protective boundaries, they will breach,
insidiously extending their evil reach.
How will I conquer these fungal sinners?
I'll intrepidly cook mushrooms for dinner.
With coriander cumin turmeric
basmati rice saffron and spice
onions chilli peppers
and all things nice
with chapati and chutney
a samosa or two
naan for starters
rogan josh vindaloo
not eye-watering
but tasty is best
tandoori tikka masala
korma's a meal with zest
chicken lamb chickpeas or lentils
a dinner for two you do not hurry
allow what you've got to simmer in the pot
if you want a winner curry
What they did to tamir rice Cold as ice I'll give some advice Think twice Think thrice An innocent paid the price Which led to his demise This is a matter of black lives Our final goodbyes We look to the sky As we wipe our eyes A burning rage on the inside So then we devise And collect our allies To symbolise To vocalise Our need for you to apologise And recognise Your many lies You televise And improvise A way to criminalise Black lives
Plain white grains without flavour
Thousands in a bowl
Crown jewel of the table
How satiating
All dish pairs well with
Soft, steaming
Rice!
Sometimes, people are missing some dignity here
Of being good and unclean is two different thing
Have we lost some honor to become dishonor then
Can we sometimes be good men than being barbaric
Two days ago when I woke up, nice scenario here
I saw the scenery of rice field, lush and green
Today, I woke up and saw the scenery of garbage
It feels like a dream, but it's real to appraise
Between rice field and garbage affecting our life
It's unfair to good people for one act of vagrancy
Let everyone act according to the precept of law
Let government execute and solve this accordingly.
“If you give me rice, I’ll eat today; if you teach me how to grow rice, I’ll eat every day.”
- Quote by Mahatma Gandhi

sprouted, sowed, dressed, transplanted
soil rich, fertile, warm
puddled field, drained well, weeded
panicle to grains
gently harvested
life staple
food
there was a young man named Price
who always took risks without advice
till one day he was peeved
when a letter he received
from his insurance saying your policy is doubling in price
Rich, red and delicious
Reddened by a good mix
Recipe not too much
Reminds me of Mama
Refreshing with a drink
Rated well at far ends
Remembering days past
December 18, 2024.
Perfectly made rice, white
Snow in a bowl - and peace steaming
The bowl itself - masterful in its curves
I sit at my desk - with this bowl of rice
My world sinks in as my teeth feel,
My tongue, the warmth, my eyes close again.
an intrusion of roaches
dines nightly on rice
i see only by daylight
NOONRAY IN WINTER
Noonray in your navel
a locus for language light
whale wave wishes
in water songs kisses
as July just jokes along
Winter wonder words waffling
storm crown chakra baffling
cold she stirs potted iced rice
as rain rigorously roars
Noonray holds the dice
On hailstone highway she
instantly marries marigold
instinct with indigo intuition
timing tactical thunderbolts
favouring floods for nutrition
Noonray in silent shiver
shake or hide shelter seek
a game of glum greeting
Winter knows no flotsam
fathomless figure awaiting
Noonray no wee whimpers
or white wisdoms waste
in a wineglass she slithers
six seamless seasonless
sweets simultaneously
… then quivers !

Mu Cang Chai's rice terraces in Northern Vietnam.
a stunning beauty,
a breathtaking masterpiece
so nice rice terraces
Beneath the Wolf’s breath,
rocks cradle my resting form.
Wild rice sways, whispers—
nature's soft secrets unfurl,
beauty bathed in dawn's light.
Note: Wild rice growing at mouth of Wolf River in Wisconsin on Menominee Indian Reservation.
Let summer table
Full of fried rice noodles cup
While telling fable.
