Life’s a lucid dream where we are in trance,
so we reflect on musings created,
in imaginary realms where we dance,
our roles shape shifting, stooped stance sedated,
at times sorrowful, at times elated.
Having not made love and light our mainstay,
our dreams betray that we have lost our way.
Red, yellow, brown and green
All colours will be seen
Love this time of year ~ fill your cup
Hot chocolate, hats , scarfs gloves cosy up
Log fires lite in gardens brings dazzled light
As days get shorter ~ blazing sight
Kicking leaves, roasting chestnuts magic in the air
No more pretending
try understanding
what you mean to me
Nobody else knocking
nothing needs unlocking
you are my need
Got nothing but time
you got me in a bind
love me
Listen to your heart
don't break us apart
look and see
We are meant for each other
we're to damage for another
trust me
Hold me please
and love me
I wanna
I wanna
love you (my baby)
I wanna, I wanna love you (my baby)
I wanna. I wanna love you (my baby)
What's on your mind
risking borrow time
don't leave
We are one another
it is us no others
believe
I wanna, I wanna love you (my baby)
I wanna, I wanna love you (my baby)
I wanna
I wanna
love you...
Safe in each other's arms lies our compass
a gifted direction of serenity in the evening
when your smile is a flesh tone canvas
that points to the stress that is leaving
our sanctuary in twilight is a calming delight
where we cast all of the day's troubles aside
welcome the soft grandness of love's gentle light
to this cause our hearts will always abide
no walls to build where emotions can hide
in this realm of purity, our safe haven
to these quiet moments our contentment is tied
so, this refuge of love is never shaken
we share the tenderness of our compassion
to lie still and silent in our love's armor
we are one another's home and companion
where our heart is a safe and welcomed harbor
“Somewhere beyond the sink-hole, past the magnolia, under the live oaks, a boy and a yearling ran side by side, and were gone forever.” ~ The final sentence of The Yearling by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings.
A child was gone forever…
Was I, too, once a child?
Would it be that never,
I’d again run free and wild?
Would I simply pass away
like little Fodder-wing,
not to see another day
where I might fly or sing?
Lately, I’ve been thinking of
a brand-new hopeful dawn,
and the feel of earnest love -
of Jody and his fawn.
I saw a waterwheel, saw a rabbit,
took more than just a look.
Another’s soul, I’d inhabit
in the chapters of a book.
Lost forever to the ages,
a long, forgotten “when” -
four hundred thirty pages
gave me childhood again.
God looks for real humble people
ones who have deep, reverential hearts
willing to always be obedient
so God would bless them in no small part
The commandments of God are holy and true
keeping them is for our benefit and good
so all our generations would be blessed
all their days when rightly understood
God's discipline is to teach His truth
so you obey all His sayings as you walk
in God's ways, fearfully in reverence
forever learning to walk in godly talk
The requirements of God are fourfold
to love and serve Him in holy fear
walking close by the Lord every day
with a full heart and soul all your years
God is a God rightly to be praised
bowing before Him in reverential fear
bringing our love imperfect as it is
to the lover of our soul who is ever near
I’ve changed settings on Facebook page
To “only me” egoistic regime
Didn’t mean to provide any visible change
I see what I always have seen
Anyway, my posts were unmarked
But I didn’t want to annoy
So on privacy mode I embarked
Of the public eye being devoid
The reason is that I used to post
Too many of aphorisms
And I reckon it seemed to the most
The embarrassing anachronisms
So I feel a bit confused
It was silly to preach the converted
With warnings, probably overused
Perhaps laughingly diverted
So I climbed back into my rescue
Though sometimes I look out with hope
Is there anyone now, maybe you?
But no miracle happens, nope.
It’s raining all night, and I’m sleepless
Each random thought carries me through
This habit to think is ridiculous
Except when I’m thinking of you
Hope you would approve my idea
I’ve no desire to celebrate
The date of upcoming New Year
The symbol of time that can’t wait
Champagne and that fabulous salad
We can go without easily
The spruce with the shimmering garland
Oh dear, it’s too much for me
I paid off a many New Years
Each one was no better than old
I’ve watched the sunrise over hills
I’ve lived up a tale no one told
So why not remain in the past
To drown in your eyes with the sun
That jumped like a ball between us
When we were alive, having fun.
Your wild inner child is obviously broken
Despite big smile your words when spoken
Seem to bleed from lack of something
Could it be a dream or just a need to scream
You tell stories of never being allowed
The little things of past precious child
You feel you raised siblings at home
While still a child when days were long
Your body grew into womanhood
But it’s true your inner child stood
Stuck in time in limbo as little kid
Life wasn’t simple and you did
Eventually fall in love with a teen
Who for you bore kids despite dream
To be an artist and be so esteemed
You’re trapped by life you want things
The little kid inside wasn’t ready to be
A mother a wife as destiny winds sing
Perhaps next lifetime you will find
All your hopes and dreams in time
The unique bleat of the ram’s horn (shofar) draws the crowds
like the wailing at the Temple’s western wall, its symbolism plays loud
Yet it is not the essence of the Jewish New Year
which is belonging –
to his own people, one must first connect
And if he will not, God too he will come to reject
THE LONGONG
Why has thou cursed me with this longing for love. I don't want it anymore. I'm old and tired, I can no longer sire. What the hell is this longing for?
I lie to my self at every days end. I tell myself, I'd make do with some friends. I fight with the might of a thousand men, to never feel the longing again.
I still can't help my pitiful self, the longing still taunts me from a old dusty shelf. But as I sit writing down this notion, I've not been under any love potion.
Suddenly I'm compelled to see, a moment of bitter clarity. I don't need anybody to love, but I want someone to love me.

I filled the night’s chalice with knots of desire,
we dance through the darkness, a duet of fire.
It rains red roses, riots of love ignite,
the midnight stars groove to our souls’ delight.
Let’s share our ardor with the moon’s soft beams,
hands joined, lives twined, eternal as our dreams.
A darling, a sweetheart
We agree to disagree and become carefree
Cupid's dart!
In sorrows, joys
We share all, over a coffee
Our poise!!
Tranquil
Life glows in glee
Fill!!!
A darling, a sweetheart
We share all, over a coffee
Fill!!!
I tried ending our relationship after another stupid fight,
Before I started to really hate her,
But we ended up making love all through the night;
The moon is an honest manipulator.
Two more different people don’t live on this earth
Designed by the Almighty Creator,
Under the moon shadow love is given a wide berth;
The moon is an honest manipulator.
This certainly wasn’t love at first sight;
I don’t even know why I started to date her,
Other than the fact we met late at night
And the moon is an honest manipulator.
So, I guess you know we’ve been married fifty years;
I never found the ability to escape her;
Under the sunlight we shed plenty of tears,
But at night, the moon is an honest manipulator.
Tell me darling, what’s the time, what’s the time
My Fitbit is out of charge, out of charge
What you say I can’t define, can’t define
Maybe distance is too large, is too large
“Love, I can’t speak from here, speak from here
I can’t tell where I am, where I am
It’s just signs that you hear, that you hear
Hope to send more of them, more of them
Just remind me you love me, you love me
Anytime that will suit you, will suit you
Don’t forget to be with me, be with me
See I am with you too, with you too..”
