How acid strong this taste of bitter fruit,
foul odor which offends from deep within,
reflecting all the loss and vain pursuit,
the dream for sincere love not found again.
Each day the dying scent grows stronger still
from pain inside the belly of defeat.
Weakening spirit with no sense of will
to walk again in hope for love to seek.
How many times can one sustain the angst?
Reverberant rejection of your kind
and for some grand illusion give God thanks.
Then wake and look for joy you cannot find.
Is it the plan of life to kill love's fire?
Resulting in a death from vain desire.

TO MY BLOOD
The very lone lodge visited I
Since between us an inevitable nap
In endless rows the route to sky
Seated my blood long ahead now
Thus butterfly beyond my cecity
And there was I deadly alive
Windmill by wind their glossolalia
In reverberant, whispered to my ears
Till my file be close our sight
When it drip no more of hourglass
And the orb to ants but a mat
By seven hundred years of our stand.

There’s an aged Eastern cedar tree
not far from the steps of my back door.
Enormous and quite old it harbors
a full range of flora and fauna
that have sought refuge amid its arms.
I reckon it soars 60 feet high
with an amazing 30-foot girth.
In winter, frosty mist on needles–
faux snow covers its verdant branches–
although it remains green winter-long
Welcoming woody fragrance in Spring
attracts curious creatures of trees–
working tirelessly to build their homes
in the evergreen’s burgeoning boughs–
a comfortable coniferous cool residence.
The cardinals staking my feeders,
fluffed and braced against the chilling cold–
medallions, red on silvery green–
Christmas’ reverberant Friendship Tree
reminds me of friends and family.
My enduring evergreen shares its
sheltering arms and embraces all
who come, as a nurturing mother
providing food, comfort, and kindness
to any seeking safety within her.

Behold Creation in a blink of an eye,
ethereal elation of the siring sky,
Reverberant rotation will comply,
with nebulous narration to beautify…
Metaphysical displays soon awake,
ambient arrays conceptions partake,
Solar winds agaze as they intake,
revered rays amidst their birthing bake...
***
Celestial seas that navigate,
bionomical breeze surround to stimulate,
A frigid freeze to isolate,
dawning degrees of stellar suns that incubate…
Upon the mind of an eternal god,
all designed creations to their applaud,
And thus mankind to be awed,
a shutters speed blind that we are flawed.

Reverberant the sounds of the new year coming forth
Enticing us to leave something behind in it shadows
Setting us up for some sort of failure almost immediately
Ostentatiously we throw our thoughts upon the table
Letting those around us know our resolutions made
Utterance of promises we pledge to keep
Truer for the new year coming forth than the previous one
Instantaneously knowing it's the impossible we often seek
Oblivious to the power trapped in our own mind's will
Never fully ready to battle these demons to win the fight
Surrender often become an easier choice until next year

The car crashed with death.
The force of fate could not hold the wheels.
Our sky shattered to million pieces hither and thither...........
My wife died.
An ear splitting yowling reverberant sound silenced all.
A blue flash of lightning suddenly disappeared.
A curtain of pain fell upon our window panes,
and stumbling in darkness, we skittered on.
With crunched bones, calloused palms dazed in bloody horror,
our lurched heart rendered a numbing pain...
a pain that could be heard when my two year old asks, "Where's mummy gone?"
She had created our sky, lighted it with love
the moon turned black, blown off by a bomb.
I show my son, a star which is now his mom.

But it was written with lot of emotions from my side and I expected that many people should be able to relate with the story of some friend or family where a small child is deprived love of a mother lost to cruel hands of destiny, accident or disease

R-ealize the reverberant voice
O-f the preacher of the gospel;
L-isten to the words of wisdom,
A-s he expounds very well.
N-ever ignore the reverberant voice that speaks about holy word;
D-on't turn a deaf ear to the truth that must be heard.
P-ay attention to the reverberant voice,
I-t talks about gaining salvation;
N-ever turn a blind eye,
G-aze with a firm conviction.
O-n the twenty-first of January, let your heart and soul rejoice;
L-ife eternal is clearly taught by plangent and reverberant voice.

Trickle tender tears - those that take their time
born to bathe and baptize bereavement;
dew drops cling to fragile petals of forlorn feelings ~
aged and alone
sentiments from sorrowful soul slowly seeps
revived in rising rivers of rhythmic release
emptying from eclipsed eyes
in reverberant regrets and reveries ~
retrospective reviews with resilient realism
offered to an overdue oldster oppressed by outliving others -
reflections retrieved and remembrances retained
gifts given from the gravestone-garden of growing grief
watered with wept woebegone wine
cherished with chaste caressing care
memories and mourning ~
hallowed in a harrowed heart

We have waited for long for peace,
Intense passion had ruined our love
The chronicles of hate had killed-
Hurt our soul, crumbled it;
Eternity was merciless for us,
Raging through our reverberant cries
Emanating heat,as desires surged-
Destruction; hope withered away.

They are cast in the shadows of thick,
grey clouds beneath sheets of
drizzling rain-sounds. Tiny fingers
are tapping on reverberant walls
when at once, he puts a record on of
lonely pianos playing.
Brewing dark liquids, they contemplate...
Yet coffee is not the only brew. There is
also a melting pot of atmosphere and sound,
sparking great and heavy ideas, causing him
to ponder life and death and all that does
and does not matter.
A steam rises from the rim of his cup,
where heat kissed the harvest air, as
a minor chord then rises in time
with this click of a droplet's rhythm.
He blinks, finding then that he is
alone, and lost in that flow
of song and spirit and sound.

Justice for the toil
of staid leaves
as upon autumn
they begin to shine,
before death,
they come alive.
Reverberant but yet!!
not a sound,
as their metemorphosis
descends to ground.
Such pain I feel
for the blessed leaves
and the larks that sang
upon their breeze.
