I have often wondered if they blundered
or if there's any truth to the advertising
within the words written on me
a simple clothing label advising
a promise a guarantee
100% Cotton
but does it refer to the garment or myself
the mere material it is printed on
a paradox perhaps
all of which goes to show
it's a dilemma the answer to which
this enquiring mind needs to know
Many believe there are angels among us.
Where do these angels come from?
Are they manifest from among us?
If so, how does it happen?
A being in the physical state
seeks the source of its being.
It looks within its current form
for the essence of its being.
Determining that that essence is Spirit in form,
it decides to align itself with the Spirit.
When it is aligned with the Spirit,
there is an enlightenment that reveals the miracle.
By opening its heart and inviting the Spirit within
to flow or live through it.
The person is given power to perform miracles
with the Spirit and become angelic.
These individual or those that we
Commonly refer to as the angels among us.
They’re ordinary spirits that have allowed
The Spirit to love unconditionally through them.
I refer you to my answer to a very good comment by our
Stalwart poet Joe Dimino.' You neef only Peel away to view..In the
Meantime i offer; all love to you.!
Quiet weep
This inspiring song strongly reinforces our global beliefs, originating from the depths of Africa. The chorus has gained considerable popularity online. While some may argue that it is more radical than spiritual, I respectfully disagree. It resonates deeply with those who hold these beliefs
“No turning back” comes with a lot of meaning, behind this chorus line
I know of a lot of Genz who do believe in religion
But to see how they react to the chorus “I have decided to follow Jesus
Make us believe that we can conquer the devil.
They took up, they crossed and followed thee
Was it the beat in the songs or the lyrics that inspired so many
Of them to get up and dance along?
As poets, we might refer to this as zigging and zagging,
As Genz will probably say, free up your minds
I would say trust the song, not the singer
Distressing without demonstrating.
Camping without thinking,
Moving gracefully without political approvals
Let them see the youth at their best.
And more things as the Caribbean would
They come to play. No turning back
LIFE AS IT HAPPENS
BAD THINGS HAPPEN AT THE MOST INOPPORTUNE TIME.
WE CALL IT MURPHY'S LAW, BAD LUCK, EVEN KARMA.
GOOD THINGS HAPPEN, AND WE REFER TO IT AS SERENDIPITY,
MIRACLES OR A FORTUNATE EVENT.
BE IN THE MOMENT AND EMBRACE THE DAY AS IT COMES.
YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT GOD WILL SURPRISE YOU WITH.
How do these women cut with their bare hands- their surrounding net?
Well, I refer to- Jane, Margaret, Aphra, Virginia and Charlotte,
Who are well known even without their surnames,
And who were well-versed in the field of Literature; to play all kind of games!
The female embodiment of grace,
In the field of writing in which they all were Ace,
Yet none can even now erase,
Their Glorious and Wonderful writing's days.
Austen, Cavendish, Behn, Woolf and Bronte,
Their surnames are enough for knowing the glory to the field of English -
-Literature they had brought,
They too were one of a kind,
And also The Priceless Gems, we may yet never find!

The wild wind plays its part.
Orchids on my Lord's yard
Blown and thrown apart.
They were meant to fall?
Before coming of age?
The suspects were to be summoned at once.
"No such intentions I carry, oh Lord...."
Wild wind presents, an alibi persuading.
"I was hurled by these towering trees."
The court, bewildered.
Yet, advocated his statement.
"It was not just me, a whole bunch of us.
I? Merely a pawn swayed by an arrogant king, Sire?
I take no part in this massacre...."
Not even a warlord made my king sweat.
Apprehension of injustice it is.
Suppressing the murmurs, my King speaks.
"Oh mighty wind, brutal nature force,
Why assist destruction of the old man's blossom?
Tell me, oh lofty tree.
You bear children of your own,
Why kill mine? "
"Why flowers bloom?
When destined to wither only.
We relish and embrace them,
Refer- beauty, innocence and sanctity.
Why gather them here?
A corpse lying on a pyre...."

Perfect position
Just enough water
Just far enough from the sun
Just enough light
Just enough dark
Just enough land mass
Just enough Van Allen Belt
Just enough ozone
Too close and it would be too hot
Too far and it would be too cold
Too close and too much radiation
Too far and not enough
Too close and no water
Too far and it would be frozen
God knew where to put us
He placed us just right!!

Stressed, he asks, yes
I am, knowing that you are the one have me in a mess
How can I be your significant other when you make me feel insignificant than your lover
Significant other? What does it mean?
It's says it's a person who is important to someone's well being
It can also refer to someone with whom someone has a romantic or sexual relationship that is likely to last longer
But with each passing day you leave me astray making our love not much stronger
If you really didn't want to be with me and I'm such a terrible person
Then maybe it's the reason I'm in my head cursin' thinking that one day I'll be rehearsin' my vows, my devotion
I thought I had it set in motion
But in reality, your reality, I'm just your insignificant other
The whole time I've been sitting here thinking that I was your significant other
"Conservation of Energy :
" Energy and Matter are convertible."" ...Poet
Existing Energy remains conserved :
You cannot create, nor you can destroy.
Matter and Energy twined, as observed.
Laws of physics declaring to enjoy.
Energy either transforms or transfers
to other forms or producing matter
as building human body to refer.
To form soul, part of Energy enters.
After death, body turns to soil or ash.
Soul is reserved as Energy again.
Matter and Energy : Intact, no clash .
Transformation or transfer to regain.
Human instinct led by Biology.
Humanity needs Supreme Energy.
O’ friend! Son of this realm your native land
and Knight of the Long Bay on the long shore -
Fisher King to its isle and rock and sand
where long ago we drank and gazed The Tor.
And I echo back to that flickered light
when the fires of youth burned in you and me -
your joust a friendly repulse to my smite
in our sometime world of headfu-ckery!
Truly we are each to each older bound
so stoke the fires that blaze up on the Firth -
think on its mortal flame, its living sound
how one day it shall perish from the Earth.
O Captain! My Captain! I say to you
the mind is still young and the heart is true.
Written: June 2010
For CB on his 50th Birthday
Note: The Tor (pictured) is a rocky outcrop
in the East Coast Bays on the northern
beaches of Auckland, New Zealand.
Captain is a reference from a Walt
Whitman line. It was an epithet CB
would often jokingly refer to me as.
Stars,
what can you say about them
- not a lot.
The slightest bit of cloud cover
and they’re gone.
Butterflies…
folks got a lot of things to say
about butterflies
- not me though
(bug splat on a rainbow),
the whole darn world is fluttering-by,
and butter has yet learned to fly.
Romance and moonshine
are like the stars,
they’re not reliable in daylight,
unless we are discussing
high octane spirit in a jar
or our deep and abiding
love for classic cars.
If you tie
stars,
romance,
moonshine
and butterflies all together
into a fairytale posy
apparently,
you are what some may refer to as a ‘poet’,
and what can you say about that?
Nothing.
Without nature there'd be no life
Upon this planet some refer to as Earth
Whereas as others called it Mother Earth
Humanity has a great deal to comprehend
But firstly it would have to be that Earth
Is a multidiverse life force
Where one cannot survive without the other
We must save all of our natural world
Forests, jungles, ocean and seas and mountains
The sad thing is wealthy people
Just think of more wealth
Not what is the precious thing we have
And that's life in all forms.
