She gave her heart to only a few
Some she just met , others she knew.
They were each different, but still just the same
They never knew her only her name.
They lied and cheated and played their games.
Forever turned into never, now she'll never be the same.
They left her broken and bruised over the years
But she fought her way through the blood sweat and tears.
Now each day is a fresh start as she rebuilds the fortress around her heart.

The river flows, and in its twisting
it breaks and rebuilds itself,
a perpetual motion that devours itself
and gives birth to time.
It is night in the heart of day,
light in the depths of darkness,
a fire blazing in the silence of the world,
and there, where shadows gather,
lies the seed of lightning.
Everything sings its opposite:
death shapes form,
life corrodes, only to be reborn.
You, who watch,
do not seek peace in form
but in the wound that breathes,
in the broken harmony
that unites the diverse.
Thus the world exists,
in tension,
in flame,
in the eternal struggle that is a dance,
and never peace.
And yet, all is one.
Neither night nor day,
neither peace nor war,
but the still flow of a meaning
no one can contain.

(A lone voice whispers)
I've met you before
You know
When you were young and wild
Before the world corrupted you
And your soul defiled
I was present when you were born
Just hiding my true form
As I wait in here
In the shadows
Watching you act around and perform
Before you come home
To me
The eternal eyewitness
Beyond the norm
So
Live your life
Explore and experience all you can
Before you meet me again
And read after me
My Lord is my guide
I shall not want more
Before I die
He takes me through all doors as he rebuilds me to be whole
For my salvation is his only goal
Temptation shall call and bother me not
For my Lord
Regardless of my choice of faith
In who I believe
Like a divine thought
Shall show me the way

i decided to keep my findings to myself
life moves in different directions for all people
likes and dislikes are both similar and contrasting
i was hoping to find a small space to breathe in the neverending movement
what i ended up with is a migraine with nausea on a pavement with hungry ants
when i hurl on said ants, i expose myself to a cold, uncaring public
my strength rebuilds off the inspiration of the general population that keeps on walking
i was praying for another small space for conversation and genuine concern
what i ended up with this time was scrapes all over my already sore body with clotted cuts that will forever burn
i decided to keep my self....to myself....

It's safe to assume that this is my only wish,
Our land will prosper in peace and flourish.
Toss your hopes and dreams into acute end,
If you accept, all will pretend to be your friend!
The origin of my growth and the source of eternity,
To reassure everyone, this is utterly a fraternity.
You're calm, friendly, and care around flowers,
Everyday potency completely rebuilds your power.
A loving father who has no weaknesses in love,
A deep hold reaction, similar to a thrashing shove.
Safety, direction, and projection are solid,
We show it as a sanction rather than a squalid.
Despite the sour days, efficient was kindness,
One to wrap you in when your mind is in hastiness.
I intended such a debate to soften the damage,
It melts when friends awareness warms the adage.
The admonitions kept my pulse steady,
It has no counterpart in all human heady.
Ignoring dread until it arrives at a later time,
I win the heed as a dutiful offspring, sublime.

THE GIRL WHO SINGS IN THE SHOWER
The girl who sings in the shower
does so to feel alive
so her vision doesn't get fogged up
in there
she let's her hair loose
and let's the water sprinkle down
with each trickle of water on her skin
her soul gets nudged
and episode of events begin to unfold
the tales all clear
and electric
each hankering for acknowledgment
on good days
she sings and smiles to the memories that make her heart race
on bad days
she scours a little harder
leaving her skin feeling flushed.
the walls in the shower
witness her unadulterated emotions
they provide a satisfying symphony of solace
she gathers and rebuilds
apprising herself of the life now
her voice and melody not puny
The girl who sings in the shower
does so to ponder on the projections of life
and to keep her heart throbbing.

She holds screams in her voice
She drinks from her eyes
She hold strength in her gut
She slips to her thighs
She sings to the skies
She dreams and thrives
She lights up in those eyes
She walks with those fears
She runs with those tears
She makes those paths clear
She stands up for all that matters
She rebuilds from shattered
She smiles when she shines
She is our beautiful lifeline
She should never be underestimated
She is strong and determined
She sets her own goals
She saves her own soul!

claws contracted tightly
squeeze something dropped
on the forest floor
like a dark metallic tweezers
the pointed beak catches a branch
while red and nervous eyes
look everywhere
he turns the body
opens immense wings
and in a rustle of brown feathers
fly towards the treetops
at nightfall, the figure rises and disappears
fading among dark leaves
he rebuilds his castel
his refuge
his palace
his next nest

WITH ALL HIS LOVE-
With all His love
With all His love
With all His love
He gives in Jesus name;
All such should live in Jesus name;
And He never stops, He looks beyond our fought
Glory, Hallelujah
With all His love
With all His love
With all His love
It’s what God does;
Just what He did;
Allowed Jesus to die for us;
He mends the broken heart;
He rebuilds those the walls that are broken;
He heals the hurt, He founds the lost
He gives in Jesus name;
All such praise Him and God, glory, Hallelujah
With all His love
With all His love
With all His love

Meeting.
Soaked souls in wine.
Dizzy, tingling hearts fall behind.
Our moment's trump all else; rebuilds lost time.
Ignite, our connection is flint.
We dance 'til dawn.
Meeting.

NOT W.I.P.
By: Tom Wright
9/2/98
Jesus of Nazareth, who was a carpenter’s son,
Hung on the cross with His Life on earth done.
The rebuilding business He continues today,
Rebuilding lives if sincerely we pray.
When He rebuilds a life no signs will you find,
Stating, " work in process, " or schedule behind.
No bad weather delays, for the Son always shines
And in God's, realm just your word is what binds.
No mortgage financing will you need to arrange,
You’ll see instead, a sudden and complete change.
No need for sweat equity, no payments to start,
But in faith believing, you just give Him your heart.

Life beats him down
Man springs up again
History assures him: Tyranny will triumph
Man outmanned rises up against evil
Diseases plague him endlessly
Eliminate one; two more appear
Tornadoes, hurricanes, cyclones
Destroy his homes, his cities, his storehouses
Resolute, he rebuilds them---over and over again...

The air is cool, not cold
and refreshingly slight,
with the sweet scent of Spring.
The sun begins shining
while songbirds start to chirp,
and hooking geese take wing.
Spring's stay can be fleeting;
and so, I am hoping,
this first visit will last.
Winter's a memory
like frozen yesterdays,
now buried in the past.
Green saturates the scene,
and rebuilds paradise
out of Winter's squalor.
Warm Spring showers nourish
and rejuvenate life,
with brush strokes of color.

A cat sat on a buckaroo hat
A hat that was not a hat
but a Flying Fox bat,
A bat like a hat
that was not a bat
but a Spacecraft
from the planet Cobalt…
Can you just picture that?
This story is as simple as that,
A Spacecraft like a bat
Slick, smooth and flat
with a cockpit and all that
and a cat from the planet cobalt
in an outer space, as far as that…
There’s more to it than that.
While chasing an alien Rogue Rat
in and around the galaxy and all that,
Cat Cobalt in the outer space got lost
in the rat’s extraterrestrial habitat…
Now, what’s up with that?
Here and there, with this and that
From beyond yonder just like that
Poor Cat Cobalt on our Earth fell flat,
No ceremony and no welcoming mat…
Oh, who would ever want that?
To get back home this resilient cat
with one purpose alone and that’s that
He rebuilds the broken Spacecraft
with the help of one domestic cat
and goes back home to Planet Cobalt
Now no one knows where it’s at…
This ends the tale of the Cobalt cat!

The world teeters on the verge of self destruction
As humankind devours human kindness
In missions bereft of conciliation construction
Which rebuilds and fields flowers of happiness.
The world withers amid self deceit
When humankind withholds warmth
Preferring to promote self conceit
In the midst of love and laughter dearth.
The world impoverishes dishes
Teeming with understanding and empathy
As humankind extinguishes species of fishes
Whose bowels and vowels spell sympathy.
The world teeters within an ace of insanity
When technology metamorphoses into a weapon
Primed to wreak fabrics woven in human dignity
Disintegrate as revenue at all costs becomes the only business reason.
