Life beats him down Man springs up again History assures him: Tyranny will triumph Man outmanned rises up against evil Diseases plague him endlessly Eliminate one; two more appear Tornadoes, hurricanes, cyclones Destroy his homes, his cities, his storehouses Resolute, he rebuilds them---over and over again...

It is amazing to me the amount of optimism and reluctance we have to change. Building time and time again on flood plains also!

mankind learns by mistakes made...so yes, it's about time we stop making profit thee driving force of all survival ...history shows overpopulation is short lived
