Premium MemberMoonlight Promises

In a garden tended by love and care,
beautiful scented roses bloomed as
they grew,
Under a heart-shaped trellis, two young,
sad-faced lovers sat on a bench arguing
about a moment of regret,
With trembling lips, each pleads for
understanding, to forgive and to forget,
Neither noticed how a gush of wind
scattered the rose petals, showering
them with it as it blew.

Under the glow of moonlight, promises
of sincerity they pledged,
Giving clarity to lingering shadows of
doubt still making them feel on edge,
A tender embrace and whispered words
of love reassure, mending trust and
professing loyalty,
These moments, in memory, reaffirm
commitment and give feelings of
assurity.

Hand in hand, they walked feeling proud
that their actions to resolve their issues
showed maturity,
Living in a world of disposables, both
knew they must learn how to bend
like the trees when facing the storms
of life’s realities.

That Day

I always knew
But that day I had
To reaffirm

When ominous clouds furtively
Moved in
Soon and very soon those
I stood in the sunshine with
Started to move with the wind
Oh yes
A storm—a mighty storm—was raging
Alone, alone I was left standing
But quickly I got on my knees and
Started praying
Amid torrential tears falling
That sweet voice in my spirit
Started calling
A voice that's one of a kind
A warm resonance that soothes the
Heart and mind
A love, sweet love
That's unsurpassed
A grace and mercy
That is long last
Arms of strength that embrace
A spirit of comfort that came to
Wipe all the tears from my face

I always knew
But that day I had
To reaffirm

I Confess That I Lived

For the poems I wrote,
For the daydreams in which I got lost,
For the all time I enjoyed,
   For the women I shared.

For what I've lost and gained,
For everyone I don't even meet !
For ALL the past lived
For What I cried and smiled.

  I reaffirm and confess
    that as a poet,
     that life I lived...!

Premium MemberIn Simple Words

breath by breath
as our life renews
in truth we stand
in God’s shoes

He dwells within
giving life to form
we acknowledge not
so fail to transform

mind-body awareness
feels separate from source
owing to this delusion
we employ use of force

now we do need the ego
in order to survive
but if we neglect soul
how will we thrive

ego lies in head
love pulsates in heart
thus unless both align
life quest cannot start

liberation is simple
false identity we don
transient and illusionary
whence shorn we’re reborn

we’d do well to repeat
a million times if need be
we’re soul and not body-mind
reaffirm daily until we see

fears and desires recede
we live a life internalised
engaging with life as ordained
until our true Self is realised

just as water seeks its level
if we become an empty shell
God’s love and light fills us
and then all is well

Premium MemberBeware of Fake God Men

Bliss currents as not yet imbued,
the wayward wait to be rescued,
whilst if they choose to come undone,
their soul's light with God becomes one.

The practice then, is simply this:
know that we are love, light and bliss.
Illusionary is ego;
fears and desires, we best let go.

Let's not give our power away,
for no fake guru can allay
fears in our mind, bringing duress,
which we need to ourselves address.

Reaffirm time and again,
unblemished soul is free from stain
and that we’re not this body-mind;
we're living light, thoughtful and kind.

Life Is Worth Living Quotes

Living without love is not living is
bitter passage...
Having nature by my side
I reaffirm it's always worth living...
Life is wonderful for those
don't be afraid to live to the fullest...
Living very well is rare, but not
impossible...
To live, we must exist... !

Premium MemberThe Consoling Language of Trees

I am from the clan of trees
we speak in the language of nature’s hidden tongue
for our souls talk under the ground
in the roots where we are bound
we are held together with the promise of living
we cling in the dirt to hear our language found
from the years of age and circles growing within our core
without a sound we reach the impasse of great distance
to articulate our prophecy to the arbor family
the ash to the maple, the pine to the oak
by gently, ever so gently flowing
through the depths of rock and rim
in waves of whispers that reaffirm
our slivers and branch’s cloak
captured in the shedding of light and elements of soil
climbing and spreading to heaven’s design
our common perfection to refine
we hold one to the other to protect and evoke
our tangle of trials of cold and smoke
through droughts and strife
we speak with quiet magnificence
for the cluster of forests that inaudibly touch
in times of trouble and toil

Spiritually Hope That There Is Life After Death

Not to die is also not to live...
greater sadness is crying inside
in place of releasing tears out...
have only pristine smiles
that today correspond to nostalgia...
Smile thorns and cry flowers...
live with a sad soul
  and smile anguish...
Feeling that joy is crying around...
That's why I reaffirm that dying,
is born-again... that is spiritual
comfort...
Meanwhile, I write poetry
that reveals understanding... !

Premium MemberSoul Affirmations

Time and again, reaffirm the one truth,
that God alone is, etched upon our soul,
for earth life sojourn, caged in body booth,
deluded thereby, seeking earthy goals,
until His touch, again makes our heart whole.
Death the release, putting our soul at ease,
yet here-now too, we may flow like the breeze,
moment to moment, building love quotient,
choosing tenderness, embrace and release,
dissolving ego in the bliss current.

Was There Ever True Splendor In The Grass

Was there ever true splendor in the grass
Or peace coming into a dying soul
Despite exit away from devil's pass
Nothing was gained by paying no toll
No serenity born by disbelief
World allows no such easy reprieve
For life always has its sorrows, its grief
And darkness exists simply to deceive!

Alas! Mankind believes this earth he rules
With insidious might, enormous dreams
To reaffirm fantasy in his schools
Night and day, he so feverishly schemes!

Was there ever true splendor in the grass?
Or man's innards, not devilish morass?

Spoon Me Baby

Spoon me baby, she said from over her shoulder..,
so I moved in real close, preparing to take hold of her
the feel of her body, the contour of her lower spine
my torso synchronizing with hers and hers with mind

A perfect fit! Like a hand in glove, like water in a glass
from the arch of her feet up to her curvaceous.., ‘hips’
from the nape of her neck, down to the small of her back
I spoon my lady as we lay in the sack

weary from the passionate love that we make
spooning, she says is the icing on the cake
and so I spoon my lady adding hugs and caresses,
tender butterfly kisses that reaffirm and confesses

my love for this woman who is once, twice, three times
a lady, who causes my desire to burn and my loins to smolder
her command is my wish!! Spoon me baby, she said
from over her shoulder.., so I moved in reeeeal close..,

Premium MemberEphemeral Beauty

Our winter takes a stand to come each year:
beyond the spring, and after summer days,
accepts the brilliance of late autumn cheer,
which spreads a last hoorah with fiery blaze-
then winter shares its sparkling, snowy glaze.
What peace dwells in this purity of white
that cloaks the hills and valleys day and night,
while bare tree limbs, adorned with fluffy shawls,
present their charming, visual delight.
Quite joyful is that time when winter calls.

And yet, while nature sleeps beneath this veil
of white, the landscaped beauty is not firm.
Devoid of color, mounds, and swirls of pale,
white glow- sparked by the sun- does reaffirm
its shiny brilliance is enjoyed short-term.
And in that warmth, icicle gifts are cast
like jeweled shards of crystal, holding fast
on limbs and branches- clinging for a time,
till the next storm- or spring awakes at last-
to fully melt away old winter's clime.
