Once upon a time; hard to tell which piece.
Somewhere between reality and myth,
lies forge an identity lost on peace.
Keen bellows; hammer strikes unveil the Smith.
Akin; that prince slyly seeking the throne.
"Thus always to tyrants!" He blames the slain.
Raising cain, killing able; little's known
of overlords. Let complacency reign.
Let promised comfort lower the voices.
Rejecting the past; lesson in meaning.
Diluting verbiage; Alter choices.
Destined for slaughter; signal the weaning.
Take notice; an abolition’s at hand!
The abolition of Man; Master’s planned!
My son-in-law’s and daughter’s dynamic duo dogs:
THAT DOG DON’T HUNT
Fond of saying, that dog don’t hunt,
yet his Springer flies through the air
with the greatest of ease, not a trace
of his size. Like Clifford, the renowned
big-red-dog, he has no idea his scope,
lacks grace — compares himself to
Little Bit. As if
there’s hawks in the house, you must
watch when sitting on the couch.
Tripp is eyeing you, his vantage point,
ready to take off, at your slightest weakness.
If he’s shutoff downstairs, he’s at the tippy-top
raising Cain; or outside, his nose’s pressed
to the sliding door. He melts your heart,
Aw, let him in… he’s the kingpin,
the checkmate, yet Little Bit
bares his teeth, old pepperpot
encourages his own rub —
quite the doggy stew. we love…

King
Raising Cain or raising Abel.
Raising Hell upon a table.
Raising flour, picked a flower that I liked.
Lost it in an hour; dead flowers covered in spikes.
Raisins are not nice but I still eat them,
Mixed with chocolate; food and I are friends again.
Junk food belly is on the way so I eat green.
Already grey; ex does not recognize me.
Nothing new to say, but hey!
That’s the way it is today.
Forever sinking into a solitary whirlpool;
Still acting King whilst in reality a fool.

Of the many uses of the brain
~ Not one of them's for raising cain
One always sees a familiar face
At every international place
So many believe
That Adam & Eve
Were Mum & Dad to the whole human race
Well, now you know that the good guy was slain
By none other than his own brother, Cain
The Good and the Bad
Are like siblings clad
And that's enough to drive parents insane!
Mother tried to raise Cain,
To carry a righteous name,
But in that he could not abide,
For he lost his soul to homicide.
Abel’s blood was obliviously found,
Staining, calling from God’s Holy ground,
On the beaten path,
Demanding God’s almighty wrath.
God’s mark on Cain’s forehead,
Was worse than being dead,
For it reminded all of when,
Abel was killed because of jealous sin.
Nothing much has changed today,
Men still carry in this way,
Raping and killing,
Because evil souls are willing,
To kill you or me,
For what they want and see,
Brother kills brother,
Sons of our mothers.
I'm so smart I can fool myself
but I'm too stupid to figure me out
pull back the curtain remove the doubt
I think therefore, I am over qualified
and that is why you work at this place
now stop pretending to be a stupid case
that's just plumb dumb, where is your thumb?
Don't believe everything you think
but thoughts become things
Red Bull gives you wings
don't forget to read the label
if your judgment is stable, are you able?
if indeed you are Able, then I am Cain
if I am Cain and the apple is ripe
can you tell me what type?
sugarcane, hurricane or cocaine?
Abraham was guilty only of raising Cain

so, how does it feel

SWEET HOME
PEOPLE WALKIN’ AND TALKIN’, MAKIN’ A WHOLE
LOTA’ NOISE!
NOBODY ‘SOUL STIRS’ NO MORE!
IT’S THE CITY LIGHTS WITH THEIR ATTITUDE
LIKE IT AIN’T NICE WHERE IT’S DARK AND
QUIET OUTSIDE.
IT’S PEOPLE PASSIN’ BY YA BARLEY WANTIN’ TO SPEAK.
IT’S TALL BUILDINGS BLOCKIN’ THE SUN MAKIN’ THE SKY LOOK CHEAP.
IT’S MY SOUL LONGIN’ FOR FIREFLIES, LEMONAID AND PUPPIES LICKIN’ MY FEET.
WITH PEOPLE SINGING AND LAUGHING, SLAPPING THEIR THIGH.
RAISING CAIN, DRINKING BOOTLEG LIKE IT’S THE
FORTH OF JULY.
I WANT CAROLINA EVENINGS
SUN GONE DOWN
BLOWIN’ SMOKE RINGS ‘ROUND STARS
NOTHIN’ LOUD AROUND.
GREYHOUND RIDE ON…
EMPTY THIS LONG ROAD HOME.
DON’T STOP TILL WE GET THERE
CAUSE I BEEN GONE TOO LONG.
Adam had no parents, no uncles and no aunts.
Psychologists would have given him not the slightest chance.
Dysfunctional from the beginning; no siblings in his life,
Perhaps that’s the reason he gave a rib for a wife.
Eve was a good spouse, excepting forbidden fruit,
Then, she and poor old Adam were given the Royal boot!
Thorns outside the garden caused Adam to complain.
When Eve felt the pain of birthing, she started raising Cain.
All their troubles started when the Serpent told Eve a fib,
Or was it when our dear Adam first gave up a rib?
Battalions march
on blood soaked darkened red sand,
Able tears to wash...
