Adam the Dysfunctional
Adam had no parents, no uncles and no aunts.
Psychologists would have given him not the slightest chance.
Dysfunctional from the beginning; no siblings in his life,
Perhaps that’s the reason he gave a rib for a wife.
Eve was a good spouse, excepting forbidden fruit,
Then, she and poor old Adam were given the Royal boot!
Thorns outside the garden caused Adam to complain.
When Eve felt the pain of birthing, she started raising Cain.
All their troubles started when the Serpent told Eve a fib,
Or was it when our dear Adam first gave up a rib?
