Proof of public Corruption examine

Adjacent profits are gained in purchase of information
Non profit lobby hides, assemblies
And congressional lobby laborers
Caught in data shortage
Corrupt a report purchasing shares of
Corruptible budget items
Obstructing legislation

Creating false pretense for arrest
Arrest of defined confine
The hide
The title
The bonds ageing interest
Non profit
Must eat here at specified time
In thousand oaks California
Only at eves Arch, after days end

In Ventura at Catholic charities
The food reception is all day Charity
And none are required

Quandary Resolved

The wheels fell off my thingamajig
as a thingy
came loose in the whachamacallit
or perhaps it was the doodad
on the wotsit
which was the cause to stall it
and it'll take a few odds 'n' sods
plus a new doodah
and some hoo-ha
to make the gizmo
or doohickey
go again so
not to take the mickey
but prep the whole whoop-de-do
to look like new
I'll probably plop
for purchasing the gubbins
or bits and bobs
in a thingamabob
shop
and possibly more
at a whatnot
store

peaceful prize

The last resort of the department store
Purchasing my bones in the flesh
Native thorns contempting robes
Reciprocities without enough city
Familiar silvers behind glass windows
Tracking of least haunted strain
Fellow of coal
Liberty absconds the brazen doors of eden
Bludgeoning heart muscle of castings lapse
Strung letting of hummingbirds pain
Calling froth of tomorrow
Beastly hauling of coppered stones
Blanks of tomb
Witched at birth

Premium MemberThe beat goes on

Since you have been gone
A lot of water has passed under the bridge

A mixed bag of events have occurred
Leaving behind earth-shaking calamities

Difficult to quantify
As confusion like whirlwind

Keeps spreading and threatening
The very fabric of National Cohesion

Nobody knows what to believe anymore
As looters of our commonwealth

Keep spewing unbelievable theories
From two sides of their mouths

Shamelessly going back To their vomit of years gone by
To satisfy the cravings of their current masters

While citizens continue to wallow in abject poverty
Confused and traumatized
Where their next meals will come from

As their purchasing power has been eroded
By the demise of the national currency

Clubbed to death by inflation
And market forces
Never experienced in our chequered history

Premium MemberPumpkins

"Prize-winning huge pumpkins",
pitched the little seed bag.
Purchasing them with hopes,
preparing fertile soil,
planting them with much care,
patiently waiting, and...
pleased - a sixty-pounder!

Premium MemberPanda Pete Eats Meat

Panda Pete was an avid carnivore
Devoured small birds, snakes, and wanted more
Followed the Amazon River to Ecuador
where he lived with a meat-eating matador
these two had a great time shopping at a grocery store
purchasing steaks, roasts, chicken, fish, meats galore.

Premium MemberTake Control

I fear people have lost their way;
now, hatred and lies rule the day;
our morels faded over time.
Purchasing political will;
cult leaders are prepared to kill,
perpetuating fear through crime.
They claim that they believe in God,
but that declaration is fraud.
Faith has morphed into a pastime;
a mockery of true belief.

Exploiting people's pain and grief;
greed fuels anxieties climb.
Alternative truths are all lies,
merely bigotry in disguise.
"Love thy neighbor" was God's decree;
not manipulate them through fear.
Such behavior warrants a tear,
and I believe God would agree.
And yet, evangelists, meanwhile,
preach all immigrants are hostile.
Heaven's locked; love's the only key,
and no other will get you through.
On judgment day, God will judge you,
that's Jesus's Divine guarantee.

Search your heart to locate your soul;
work to heal one another's pain,
refuse to be led; take control.

Premium MemberAmazing Gretta

Dearest Gretta,
The world stands amazed at your powerful voice
at such an early age..
The call to action, the dire global truth, so eloquently
shared by one in her youth..
During you're sabbatical, the powerful petition
you made to world leaders to confront carbon emissions..
Holding them accountable for their promises of change.
You also met with scientists to discuss an acceptable range..
Waking people up to this stark reality that our daily
consumer habits need to be altered radically.
When purchasing food we must be attentive to what we buy.
Did it arrive here by boat or the more carbon costly sky?
Global warming is not distant, not fifty years away.
It's urgent and it's now and we must all act today!!

Porch Dreaming

His idle head
went running, jogging,
racing in a convertible Porsche.

A wicker chair creaks,
images arise behind closed eyes.

Out there, beyond his sight,
people watch him sprinting away,
dogs chase and yap -
running like that
can get you fizzy-dizzy.

No, he will go shopping
for a Tesla,
or a Chevy Corvette.
Which?

Decision making
always made him dither-some
and achy.

Too much purchasing power
quite tired him out.

The sun, was by now,
falling asleep on his skin
as he rocked back and forth
counting pots of gold.

Premium MemberRedeemer

Born in Adam's sin, same as all mankind,
I was lost and unaware of my plight.
My wayward heart was desperately blind,
Then You came into my darkest night,
And showered me with Your holy light.

My Redeemer, You found me in my despair,
From brokenness You healed and set me free.
You lavished me with love and showed you care,
By purchasing my freedom on Calvary.
You shed your blood to pay sin's price for me.

There is no way I could ever repay,
The price You paid to save my very soul.
All you ask is for me to follow Your way.
To share Your love and walk by faith my goal,
My Redeemer can truly make you whole.

Resurrection iBodies

By Mark D. Stucky
I laundered my iPhone the other day,
left in a pants pocket bound for washer glory.
After all the agitation and spin ceased,
below the damp graveclothes,
I found its corpse, cold and dead,
circuitry and battery drowned.
Ashes to ashes, suds to suds.

How our lives seem to rely on our phones.
How anxious we feel about sudden loss!
But fear not,
iCloud carried a backup.

After purchasing and registering a newer model,
restoring from the heavenly Cloud began.
Soon, all my old apps, photos, and music
miraculously appeared on my new phone.
My old phone’s configuration,
its personality, its spirit, its soul,
resurrected in the new model.
The same soul in an upgraded body,
newer, sleeker, faster, better,
more glorious.
A promise to us all.

Beverage For Leverage

The by-far dull child at orphanage,
After placement on beverage,
Mathematics above average:
A sixty-nine percent anchorage?

Other kids could only vilely rage;
The most envious began fast to age

The once-empty thing at orphanage
Could thrice try syllabus coverage,
Teachers wasting words; he could manage,
No need to be under tutelage...

Means beverage gives one leverage
Kids' craving for it to encourage
Teenagers: Beverage leverage,
To them cash for purchasing courage

Dad and Mum willy nilly savage,
If their fine kids can't reach beverage.

A thing to cry over like carnage!

Wealth Gap - Bitcoin Poem 046

When fiat money is printed freely
Certain groups benefit more than others
Wealthy people who hold assets tend to
Reap the benefits as their assets increase
In proportion to the new money, while those
Who rely on fixed incomes or savings lose
Much of their purchasing power and wealth
                     Therefore
We need a money where people can trust
That their money will retain or increase in
Value and purchasing power. This money
Will help the poor save with confidence
For themselves and also their children
Leading to a brighter future for every
Person, when saving with Bitcoin

Premium MemberThe Ancient Aztec

I bought the Aztec Spirit Shield and an ancient voice began to speak.
She gave me information about the Mexicas, as they called themselves.
Did you play racquetball? I asked her. She said they had a game.
It is a combination of racquetball, soccer and basketball.

The feathered serpent on the shield stared me down.
Did you have slaves?
She laughed.
We could be slaves, and we were.

We could sell our children, and we did.
I tried to not look horrified.
We sold ourselves too, like you do.
We do not sell ourselves! I retorted.

Oh, yes, you do, she told me. You sell yourself up to eight hours a day.
You are as much I slave as we were.
We could buy ourselves back, too, like you do.

Did you like to sacrifice humans?
Of course, we did!
And you had a god?
We had hundreds of them. We borrowed gods from many cultures.

Were men faithful to their wives?
Yes. All of them.
Did you have dentists?
How else could we have filed down our teeth and replaced them with gems?
I gave the shield to a museum soon after purchasing it.
Not wanting to hear more.
