"Prize-winning huge pumpkins", pitched the little seed bag. Purchasing them with hopes, preparing fertile soil, planting them with much care, patiently waiting, and... pleased - a sixty-pounder!

A great story in seven lines, David! The hope of all gardeners! Funny, I can grow pumpkins but I can't grow zucchini! Congrats and high fives for your win!

Hi Sam. Pumpkins and zucchinis, two of my favorites. I haven't done much gardening, in a long time, but I had pretty good luck with those two. Here's an interesting thing. When I harvested the huge pumpkins, all the other pumpkins in the plant suddenly experienced growth spurts.

Great ending to go with the great beginning. My favorite of the pumpkin poems. Congrats

I enjoy the intricate style of this poem. It looks difficult to write.
