Primed And Waiting

Be home
when opportunity
knocks
Your door
 left open
— lights aglow

Them whom say he's a hoarder;
Juz-cuz he's buying things the same things over-and over;
Mattering’s my mind races just spiraling;
Going, going, moving on;
Spawns are the curses deemed;
Resources deem desponded bond;
Passionate are the dream;
So over bearing I consume so much I buy, buy, buy Why?
Boarder line hoarder purchases stacked toward the skies;
Just what are we looking for I’m expiring?
Midst calms justice’s screams;
Values costly rallies dreams;
Just ain't got no "enough"
Cuz, it's the end of the world ya know it!!

'Like the silence that screams, cursing solitude...
whispers of faith sing patiently with prayers.'
           (Quoted by Regina Mc Intosh)

Hung suspended from hive rafters hexagonal
Leader Lady Ruler Bee gorges imprudent
Heavy duty seeps striped desirous abdominal

Workers hover, rush beneath Queen exuberant
Team enthusiasm pumps a syrup scaffold
Propolis produces massed mission belligerent

Numb buzzing bumblers fumble fated cuckold
Hunger for cohesion, gold body encompass
Busy anonymous paupers, sources unresolved

Eager in sweetness, clan clustered accomplice
Reverently fulfills each gluttonous request
Swift need swords stung in caustic redundance

Plump with pupae, flightless wings flouresced
Polar iceberg cream honey hearts can't ingest

Primed For Intolerance

Lady Liberty’s torch burns. . .
           burning the liberal conscience.
           Darkness
           a cover for spite, hatred.
           Fires light the night sky.

     Political pandering
        battles with peace’s torch.
        Uncontrolled chants for justice lead to
        uncontrollable chance for carnage
                                        for clamor
                                        for chaos.

            Consciences are seered,
            primed for base intolerance.

Premium MemberPrimed To Coalesce

season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,
citrus squeezed, lemon and lime ~
love’s carrot-top drizzle.

the umbrella man primed to coalesce,
his yellow crop of hair blends
with watercolor scent.

grinning in the rain, she wears cocktail dress ~
tummy band stretches nine months
as he pays for her drinks.

cockle shells and wedding bells nonetheless.
a beached whale rests on the sand ~
bouquet’s ready to pop.

Primed and Also Primped

Primed and Also Primped

For Poetry Revisited this 2d Sunday of
July at Arbor Landing, Shallotte, NC
at Three PM. Always on second Sunday.

Prayed that my poems will be well-received
And in God I have always highly believed
While having given Him His due accord
Also glad people all of my poems adored.

Early morning dark quietly still does appear
As bright new breaking dawn will be here
Many more poems write like I always will
All part of God's purpose trying to fulfil.

God is in my mind both night and day
New poems there constantly does display
Waiting to be written and you to invite
To see each one truly such a glorious sight.

I do hope this will become the big trigger
As of late so surely can create much vigor
And earnest desire to be writer of sorts
At home that has provided all of its comforts.

So what I now must also do to further add
Is be quite sure you feel welcomed and glad
Knowing by God are primed and primped
In each new poem and its excellent attempt.

Premium MemberIn Silence We'Ll Strike So Primed

Look at me now, sitting below darkening skies
Cast out from our Highland home
The Clans now is spiteful despise
To the Glens we shall head, us the fortunate to roam
Away from the Jacobite scum, for us they'll continue to comb

These clearances they declare to be right
What gives them this credence this crime
In the name of their false King, once again we'll stand and fight
Soon the loyal to Alba, shall await their very time
To infiltrate, retaliate, in silence we'll strike so primed

The days pass into weeks, nowhere can we be found
On our peripheral they search and seek us
The clever in us, disappear deep underground
You can hear their English voices searching in our lush
Foul mouthed tirades of sectarianism, voiced in hatred cuss

It's now twenty eleven, to this day it beggars belief
That I read about my fellow past Clansmen
And their greed to betray, for ripened grief
Our day is not so far away, when the true Clans men
Shall vote for total autonomy, it's just a matter of when
