PLedge for PL

When my 777 Pledge to our church was prevented

I strongly believed 8 will be compensated

Now God Himself His justice He exacted

When my pledge to Him was thwarted

Oh I regret the 1st downfall of the Liberal

Yet, my 1st release from being their vassal

Never again can I be their slave loyal

For I now pledge myself to PL (PDP-Laban) & other rival.

IN AND OF THE DREAM’S REALITY
(APROPOS OF THE ANTHEM AND THE PLEDGE)

How praised it would be:
Singing and pledging the truth
Of those words for me:-
Tears would not be tears of grief:
But tears of reality:-

Pledge

Premium Member The MAGA pledge

Pledge allegiance to a new flag,
of these United States being run by
the MAG..
Once a nation under God,
now being led by a demagogue..
Pledge allegiance to the man,
with his ever growing Trump brand.
As autocracy reigns from sea to sea,
let the rich and the powerful
rewrite our history.

Premium Member Fulfilled

Hear my fervent promise
made wholeheartedly as Aphrodite's passion,
Adonis.

my love is pure
wholly fulfilled without ration
assure

allow
love's chaste fashion
vow

Hear my fervent promise
wholly fulfilled without ration
vow

Premium Member Commitments

Commitments seem to becoming a thing of the past
Once upon a time, you could rely on a person's word
Now that seems to be disappearing fast
How many times have you heard from your politicians, let me commit to you
This is a promise you expect them to keep before reality takes over and they don't follow through
A promise, a pledge is something I take seriously, that is what it means to me
Some people's words mean absolutely nothing, leaving you up a tree
How about the partner that seems fully committed to you
Next thing you know they have found someone else, and once again commitment has fallen through
If you can not be a person of your word, then what do you stand for
Think of it, if everyone stopped fulfilling their commitments all at once, chaos would prevail like never before
Our world would become a better place overnight if we would all just stick to our words
Following through on what you say, would that be too absurd

Premium Member Pledge Allegiance

A union in ourselves flags wave
Unite in freedom, die in vain
House divided, republican it saids stand
One nation, under God; only good rules
A stand for liberty as we ourselves
A pledge allegiance, even it had meaning
Allies of ancestry roll in their graves
Destroy the world, people want say

Greed corrupts while people hunger in streets
North, South, across the world calls for truths
Centuries of wars fault, devotion same cause
Live life, be free, walk the lands barefoot
Now people wants us kneel, say things ok
Just turn a head while terrorist hearts rain
Even in war soldiers die just so freedom rings
Even for the right cause we fail to unite
We bury another as if we ourselves pull trigger

Pledge Allegiance, a vow; an oath worth living
Many cross boarders fleeing to be free
From mankind's killings and sinful ways
Pledge Allegiance, only knee I take God I pray
For peace and liberty, justice people cry
But close an eye to moderate centrism
To stand a nation, you first got rid what's wrong
Even the innocent die while people take control

Premium Member Pledge of Love

Romantic words spill from a poet's quill
Dreams of love in mirrored reflections
An unlocked chest, confessed to a swain,
purging what was buried inside her heart.
Sonnets filled with tender emotions
and a solemn pledge of love and devotion.

Premium Member Pledge My Loyalty

The King sent his Prince to steal my heart.
Charming as he was, he gained control.
He stole my heart.
Enslaved as I was.
He sent me on patrol.
To vanquish the Royal One.
The heart of one he knew he could never command.

I could not slay the beautiful Dragon Queen.
Mesmerized by the warm transcending glow
I refused to raise my sword.
I could not cut out her royal heart.
I bent my knee.
Pledged my loyalty.

She had me rise.
She can see in my eyes
He had stolen my heart.
My soul still remained.
She spared me.
She gave me a piece of her heart.

With her heart I grew strong.
I now share her magic.
She had given me a special power.
To know, to see, to feel.
A sensitivity to all that comes near.
Charms of darkness seem to stay clear.
Temptations always sent to fade away,

I feel her.
She is my guardian.
Guiding.
Whispering in my ear.
She is the voice in my head.
The love in my heart.
The strength to fight for all that is right.

Premium Member I Pledge

I Pledge allegiance to the flag;
Not unto the Kingdom;
Not unto the Theocracy;
Not unto the Dictatorship;
But of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

Unto the REPUBLIC for which it stands;
ONE Nation, not two or more;
INDIVISIBLE, not split or torn apart;
UNDER God, not alongside, not above, not with, not without.
With liberty and justice;
not for most, not for some, not for a few;
But for ALL.

The Pledge of Allegiance

Now, why a meeting of adults
Should open with the pledge
Is something that feels wrong to me
And sets my teeth on edge.

As children, we recited it
Assembly days in school
And when I taught, each morning
In the classroom was the rule.

Just like the anthem, kids should learn
The words that we recite
On those occasions when it is
Appropriate and right.

To me, a meeting of the board
Where I retain a home
Is not one of those times and that’s
The reason for this poem.

Come Back

Come back and I'll offer you my
destroyed castle...
reconstructed...
Come back you'll have one
unmade bed...
A table that little
feed... but you will have
hungry love,
of a lover,
survivor... !

The Pledge

I shall always remember
The happy days we spent together
Underneath the tree of heart
Where we swore we'd never part

Even though I drifted away
And in years, you did not stay
The memory of the pledge we've made
Through the years, will never fade

The Pledge

A promise spoken
Must be kept
And time is not an issue
For
Invisible barriers
Separate an era
And in moments rare
Unseen forces
Intervene
For redemption
Of the pledge

B.J. Cuber

The Pledge

Red roses wrapped in thoughtful memories
radiate the glimmer of love and sweet caress.
Her shimmering smile that blooms fuller than the full moon
gives radiance to a gloomy afternoon.

Candle lit dinner with a melody for two.
Two hearts that became one to make their dreams come true.
His promise was to be with her till the last of his breath.
Her pledge of love, none could shatter, even death.

As time passed by, their love kept becoming stronger,
against the tides and all the storms, even if some storms came longer.
The silver in her hair tells all the years that they've been through.
She couldn't ask for more for he alone was her dreams come true.
