Now that you are gone, I ask myself if you
Ever loved me. You
Really played me for a fool. I must admit you have ice in your
Veins. You had the gall to convince me you
Even cared.

Oceans of Happiness

Oceans Of Happiness

I remember when I knew it was no longer me and you,
word’s from your mouth said you cared but your eye’s showed the lie.
We made love it was a chore, no love or joy, was pushed away
and made out I was the bad guy.

You walked away no looking back, I was left asking what went so wrong?
That was then this is now, I’m free to realise you played me for a fool, life is smile’s all around, now no longer at your beck and call.

Head up high frown turned upside down, back straight new friends I’ve found, old one’s still here showing I did no wrong.

Time did stop, now I use that pain as a starting block no looking behind me my future not set-in stone, no longer afraid of being alone.

Things I’ve done since you’ve been gone, chances now taken no longer afraid of you putting me down.
A prison in my mind you had confined me sentenced to a life of misery, now I’m so free rivers of happiness flows over my soul, to oceans of discovery.

Premium Member Eulogy For Time

In a moment of euphoria
You offered to erase my past
While prolonging the present.
You promised eternal life
Played me for a fool
Deceived me into believing
That time does not count.
Yet, the infinite ticking
Of the clock spells betrayal.
Now you run away from me!
Disillusioned, I struggle
In your wake…breathless.

Underdeveloped Inspired By My Friend Sandra

As a young boy with older brothers
A father who was either drunk or in prison
My big brother had a one on one talk with me
About being developed

But first this story about Tom Sawyer
He read in school about Tom and played me for a fool
Somehow he talked me into painting his room blue, fact!!
But one day when all was quiet

He explained sex to me
No wonder I could never find a girl
Who liked me?
Darn Brothers anyway!

A broken heart cannot be mended
   Neither can romance, once ended
Send me not your reparations
   Your maudlin, miserable placations

You played me for a fool, you did
Let me down so cruel, you did
Then you sent me gifts and notes
       Perchance you gloat at
       the catch in my throat

You ran off with a shiny doll
Who tells you now that you're her all
When she finds out what she's seized
       She'll dump you just like
               you did me

Played Me For a Fool

I had seen a sea of love in her eyes
in that drenching night one monsoon season
when we met the first time that now she tries
to deny and I can't find the reason
why? No more will I listen to her lies
when she insists she can't love me and cries

Premium Member Goodbye From Me

I beat you to it

Your plan backfired

Or you underestimated your target

You played me for a fool

But didn't see

The real me was not your tool for the ending of me.

I suspected all along that your evil knew no bounds

So I predicted your play and you played straight into my hands.

So I must say that I'm sorry that it's over for you.

You never predicted that I could be as evil as you.

Any last words or requests before you visit the great mystery?

No? Fair enough, then my evil friend it's goodbye from me.

My Computer

Saw an AD in with my mail
“BIG COMPUTER SUPER SALE”
Special offer “WHILE THEY LAST”
Hurry cause they’re “GOING FAST”

Perfect “HOME AND OFFICE TOOL”
God they played me for a fool
It’s a must for Games –N- Work
Now I feel like “SUCH A JERK”

Endless stream of 1’s and 0’s
What’s it up to? Noone knows
It’s much more then “SCREWS AND NUTS”
This thing really “HATES MY GUTS”

“FILE NOT FOUND” it’s there, I bet
Somewhere on the internet
Screens flash by, to fast to see
Who did that? It wasn’t me

Can’t keep up, I know, I’ve tried
It can find us, when we hide
You can run but won’t get far
(FOUND A CHIP IN MY NEW CAR)

Plans to end the human race
Leaving them to take our place
In it’s “SOFT GREEN,EVIL GLOW”
All my thoughts, it seems to know

I’m to scared to go to bed
And must wear foil upon my head
If it works, who knows? How well?
Against True Evil Spawned From Hell!

As you play or while we chat
Get some foil and make your hat
If we try, I think we can
Stop their wicked, evil plan.

You Taught Me Well

You made me weak, but from the weakness I grew strong.
You played me for a fool, but the foolishness made me wise.
You kept me chained in hell, but I escaped and found heaven beyond.
You kept me cowering away in the corner, but with release I became brave.
You thought you could take me down, but unaware you were building me up.
Now I am strong, I am wise, I found heaven without you;
I'm now brave enough to face the unknown,
And I know now how to stand on my own.
These lessons you taught me, and taught me well,
From your lying, conniving and selfish ways.

I'M Gonna Make Myself Forget

You toyed with my affections!
You played me for a fool!
I wish, I could have sensed the truth,
I wish, I'd "Gone to School"!

I know I should have listened,
to the warnings given me!
But, I so believed you loved me,
I was just too blind to see!

I thought that you were happy.
That's the way it seemed to me.
But, you tried to change me, into someone,
I did not want to be!

My heart is not a plaything!
I'm not a puppet on a string!
It's a shame, the way you treated me!
My love, could not have meant a thing!

I'm not putty in your hands, my dear.
I'm not made of molding clay.
If you can't accept me as I am,
then please, just go away!

You never really loved me,
but, that don't matter anymore!
I'm not the fool I used to be,
so, I'm walking out the door!

I never really stood a chance!
That's my main regret!
I know this won't be easy,
but, I'm gonna make myself forget!

I know that I can do it!
I know I have the knack!
Once I put the past behind me,
you can bet, that I'll be back!

Turn About's Fair Play

I told you that I loved you dear.
I thought you felt the same.
You even said you'd marry me
and be proud to wear my name!

You took advantage of my trusting ways!
You played me for a fool!
You used me for your selfish gains!
You broke the Golden Rule!

My friends all tried to warn me,
but I thought that I knew best.
So I didn't listen; I paid no heed,
to that I will attest.

I kept trying to get over you.
Peace was hard to find.
I was confused about what to do.
I almost lost my mind!

I left myself wide open,
but that won't happen anymore.
I'm a whole lot wiser now,
that's why I'm walking out the door.

I'm letting you go - that's for sure!
You can't hurt me anymore.
You'll only be a memory,
just someone I knew before.

I hope you've learned a lesson
and see the error of your ways.
Next time, my dear, unless you change,
you'll be the one that pays!

A Lover's Suicide

She came into my life
And seemed to end all my strife
But suddenly things started to change
Suddenly she began to act strange.
Over and over she lied
And every time I swallowed my pride.
Every time I let her back in
Even though I knew she was the daughter of sin.
She played me for a fool
Using me as her tool
To get what she sought
As I stood and fought
And I tried with all my might
To win this horrible fight
To keep her standing by my side
Then she’d become my lovely bride.
But she left as soon as soon as she came
And everything became the same
As it had been once before
And how it shall be forever more.
If she could only see
What she created inside of me.
She created a darkness that will last
And overshadow both my future and past.
A darkness that’ll forever be a part
Of my ever-longing heart.
I look to a future that I dread
With a gun pointed at my head.
Look at what love’s done to me
And try to learn from what you see
As I take my last breath
Knowing all my hopes lie in death.

All the Words

All the words you said
Echo nonstop in my head
I wonder if you ever cared about me
It couldn't be
No, it wouldn't be
For you played me for a fool
You broke all of loves rules
You broke my heart
Your hatred tore me apart
I sit here cold and lonely
Begging for warmth, and someone to hold me

In the End

They look at me they see guilty,
I look at myself I see liberty,
Justice has taken life from me,
With the death penalty.

Pushed my friend off a tower,
My heart burning with no desire,
As he fell the darkness arose,
I felt the anger taking control.

I look back on the days we had,
To see that they were all bad,
Erasing the last memories I had.

You did this to me once before,
This cant continue anymore,
I feel like I am being used more and more.

There is no end to the pain I feel,
My heart keeps pounding,
It sounds so unreal.

When I try talking to you,
The words crumble and I stop,
I think back to when we were cool,
To see you only played me for a fool.

Life has sucked so far,
Hopefully it will get better and better by far.

When I see you I act strong,
I pretend like nothing is wrong,
You pretend like you did no harm,
When all you did was use your charm.

Truth.....

I feel so alone without you in my life,
You hurt me so bad,
You said you wouldn't leave but you did,
Why?
Why lie to me?
You knew how much I already hurt,
You knew!!!
I confined in you,
I trusted you,
You made it all blow up in my face,
I opened to you,
I told you why I have the attitude I have,
I thought you cared!
You told me you cared about me!!!!
YOU LIED TO ME!!!
WHY?
Why did you hurt me like you did?
You ran when things got a LITTLE tough!!
I feel in LOVE with you,
But YOU PLAYED me for a FOOL!!!
How will I get past this pain that you have caused me?
You make me feel so LOW about MYSELF!!!
I HATE myself more and more with each day that passes by!!!
You're on my mind twenty-four seven!!!
WHY?
I'm so confussed thanks to you!!
You Hurt me so BAD!!
Truth is I NEED YOU!!
