For me, a silent kiss meant goodbye and the last time
I felt that way was when I walked him out from my birthday
party and stopped by the door, where he gave me a silent
kiss on my forehead, and then walked to his car.
He sensed throughout the party that my feelings for him
were gone, so the silent kiss meant goodbye for both of us.
That was four years ago, but now
it has a new meaning for me.
The silent kiss means a deep emotional
connection beyond physical attraction.
I met him seven years ago in a dance class.
We became friends, and then dance partners.
We have a platonic friendship that never
crosses the romantic line, so the silent kiss he
gives me and the silent kiss I give him when we
say goodnight after our night of dancing is an
expression of appreciation and blessing.
For us, the silent kiss is an affectionate gesture
of a great friendship full of care, respect, and love.
No matter whichever way you are orientated,
It is all the same; true love and physical attraction expressed.
Even if a choice, it is your blank canvas meant to be painted.
A lonely man survives breathing love,
His heart and mind only dream of someone to love,
Chances of meeting a lover may be a fleeting luck,
But she is always on his mind.
Dreams of love while watching nature,
Red rose petals define her beautiful lips,
Fragrant Jasmine feels she is around,
Bird tweets, so sweet, as if she is talking to me.
I breathe in love, I am blind in love,
I only see her goodness and physical attraction,
I am like a pomegranate-bearing plant,
Which only flourishes, when other loving plant is around.
One day I will get out of this daydream,
Reality will set in to find real lovers are your kids and kin,
Still, just breathing love, keeps my hopes alive,
One day I will meet my supreme love when I am dead.
So is the remnant of my attraction to her I love her first for her spirit soul

This a soul beauty has depth that can be found in another person’s

thirsting seduction
a physical attraction
mouthwatering lust
What is it that makes a woman so seductive,
Other than obvious physical attraction?
As long as a woman is not self-destructive,
She can easily be a man’s best distraction.
It could be as simple as how she wears her hair
To the way she smiles as she passes by you.
It could be as simple as a freckle that’s fair
To the nape of her neck that is just out of view.
But most of all, I think it’s the air about her
That a man doesn’t even realize he sees.
It’s the way she carries herself around others
That’s most seductive and brings a man to his knees.
Loneliness while there was a family
A tragedy when there was hardly a relationship
Father and Mother apart
Yet I grew stronger
Now that is the art of survival
Relationships gone wrong
Physical attraction and
That is just a fraction of the story
Yet I grew stronger
Now that is the art of survival
Friendships gone wrong
The heart can be fake
This will make you see the real person
Yet I grew stronger
Now that is the art of survival

I believe the roots of love differ,
Between men and women from the start.
Though while generalized and inexact,
The fruits yield a common harvest to the heart.
With men it seems physical attraction is
Needed, to arouse his predatory pursuit.
While the woman must admire and respect
Her suitor, beyond the visual tribute.
Often times when these are lacking,
Any love once built becomes lost.
Whereas neglect may lay claim to the
Atrophy, only to be measured at great cost.
Humanities culture compels this recipe, while
Some seasonings add variety to the meal.
Yet regardless of the male/female interaction,
The family of mankind will survive . . .
And spin the wheel.
when my thoughts trail down
those wooded paths we tread, i wonder
what there was to see in you
other than the beauty of any beast
wisdom dictates never befriend physical attraction
nothing is expected of friendship
other than the love it is
analysis, fools rush in, live, and learn
you saw in me a kindness to your needs
someone on whom you could depend, moments
when the soul lies distraught
the world walks on by, as i have learned
then for some reason, perhaps an innate evil

this did not leave me, bright position

Phoenix 87 The Patient Stones
She is introverted the extrovert said.
Not knowing at all; his first name was Ted.
Their weird observation filled me with dread.
I knew Ted did not see what was up ahead.
Please pay extra attention to her, I pled.
I have known her since my childhood homestead.
She’ll be a non-talker ‘til after you’re wed.
Could tell by his face I should now lightly tread.
He was a stubborn one and in lover, our man Ted.
And she was ultra-gorgeous tonight, dressed up in red.
They were married at Christmas, on a giant sleigh sled.
Beside their parents, who on both sides are rather well fed.
She started talking upon their wedding night bed.
Amusing his two peeping cousins, Fred and Ole Ed.
Her incessant talking for sixty years hurt his head.
So he built himself his own fabulous man shed.
Stayed there as long as he could ‘til he was long dead.
Her constant need for attention was never fully fed.
Weird how their physical attraction easily led
To a life where she had totally fooled our own little Ted.

After not using protection missing that first period
Raging that he lied and told you he couldn’t have kids
Engaging in a “relationship” that just weeks ago didn’t exist
Never thinking that being a mom is something you could do alone
Then he got the heck outta dodge and left you to do it on your own
Having no clue how to be a mom or what to do
Oddly you overcame those odds and birthed not one baby but two
Only one month after your first kid was born you took Dad back
Deciding that he deserved a chance too, its been 8 years he never left or turned back
Waltzing in the room
all charm. all charisma
personality engulfs the place
like smoke overtaking my lungs
Overwhelmed by your thick presence
I don’t want to take a breath
I blink
you catch my stare
I want to glance away, BUT
Hypnotized by your essence
a magician in your very flow
looking away is NOT an option
As you close the space between us
the sexy in me finds her place
half smile, half pucker
my aura invites you into my
personal space
Teased by your momentary silence
“Hello Beautiful”
escapes your perfectly formed lips
“Hello”
I say in my softest, sultry purr
Slight dimple
pearly whites
spotless complexion
and skintone of caramel
Checking all boxes for physical attraction
the hard part begins
Who are you on the inside?
Who will you present to me in this first encounter?
Your representative?
Your truest self?
This is truly the hardest part!
