Pessimism Poems

Premium MemberEmil Cioran

I've been fed a prune of life,
Spooned it silver, everlasting.
I spat it out to seek a knife,
To chop and cease it of forecasting.

The birth is reason as much itself:
Not 'yond the self conceived.
Wrote for book on busy shelf,
Whose tales unread aren't grieved.

Chicken Little

Chicken Little

Much like a messenger to mind,
Posed staring down into my face,
I sensed a rooster, brash and bold,
Was challenging my right to breathe.

Thus, in the inkling of an eye
With onset latent bleariness,
The old conundrum, fight or flight,
Was freshly flashing in my head.

This rooster was no idle threat.
Its size, imposing, filled my sky.
Its comb was cocked

Premium MemberRosy Granny Magic Glasses

I walked along route 58
There was Mumbai dreams and Harbor Freight
A hippie guy sold sunglasses from a stall
One had a rosy tint, I paid 5 dollars, that was all.
There was a warning label with it, I threw it away
Who needs all the fine print, what could it possibly say?

I looked at the traffic, it was

Premium Memberwe are the God that we've been waiting for

In August when the days are hot,
nights are cool, men are shot;
fooling with another's wife
too many men cut with knife.

Walk a street some evening
time is late and no one's there
even moonlight stays away
even stars no longer stare

no one sees what happens then
when night is finally here
darkness is, to good, no friend.
it brings us instant fear

something

Perspectives

If the darkness fails to engulf you, the light will.
When the chaos can not drown your thoughts, the silence will.
If the hatred refuse to make your scars bleed,
The adoration can not heal.
Yet if Life fails to make you understand, the void in which we live,
Give Death a chance for what you want to

My Way Of Saying Happy New Year

It's a new year,
Yet the sun still rises east,
It's only the first of January
I’m but a day older from the last year,
Nothings’ changed in the way I’m seen,
Tears still decide to fall by themselves,
I’m still watching from a distance,
The willpower must only get stronger, for the temptation still stays
The plastic smiles are starting to fail

The Unfeasible Expedition

The sheer maintenance of the probability,
Nothing is comparable to our garrulous mendacity.
Nothing can be called a consummate pattern,
Except for any tremendous aching, this life would only be a fallacious earn.

You are just an archetypal passer-by without any aim,
You want to play an unwarranted game.
Your loudest silence is another offence,
In this horrifying reality, you are nothing

Loathsome Terrorism Due To Pessimism

Why takes place terrorism?
Is it due to lack of optimism?
Or do devils do tricky hypnotism?
It surely cripples enthusiasm

Tigers and lions kill for food
Otherwise, no killing mood
Hunger makes them rude
But, man is badly crude

By man religion is invented
And peace is by him prevented
Fellow men are cruelly hunted
His brain is by ferocity blunted

Without seeing holy God
He rules

Pessimism Cancels Dynamism

Never imagine that you may lose
Instead highly positively you muse
Doubts and worries are of no use
Only optimism, you always choose

During confusion, take no decision
Out of fear, stop not your mission
Approach life with proper for vision
Never give to pessimism permission

When you think you cannot achieve
No success at all you will receive
This may make you sadly grieve
As

Premium MemberMy Optimist and My Pessimist

An optimist lives inside me…walks beside me
his glasses are rose colored…his outlook…	a little sun-kissed.
Unfortunately there’s more…for living right next door
inside me…his neighbor…the pessimist.

Whatever my condition…they jockey for position
one's outlook is gloomy…the other’s…is quite glorious
and I never can say…at the end of the day
which one will end up victorious…

The optimist, once unfurled,…sees before him a beautiful

Oh No, the Heaven

The ancient times,
Buried the Genesis
Of today's psyches,
Recycled but deformed,
Stale and stinking-
Evolutionary idioms?
The visual décor
And the packaging
Of rotten,
Oh no, The heaven
Ruined with the billowing smokes,
Hiding the power of Sun,
Drumming the catastrophe.

Premium MemberDown With Pessimism

Down with pessimism
  Drown not in negativism
Beware of escapism
  Steer clear of cynicism

Keep far from fanaticism
  It only invites antagonism
Too lonely is monasticism
  Too stifling, collectivism

Failure dogs perfectionism
  Emptiness mars materialism
Insularity deadens catechism
  Stoicism breeds fatalism...

True, this poem is full of criticism
~ But it ends on a

Premium MemberMiss Sunshine

I once had an office job sitting next to Miss Sunshine day in and day out. She and her 7th Day Adventist Jesus were always so positive and jolly about everything, it was hard not to smack her.

One day with syrupy sweet intonation she asked why I was so cynical and wasn't I an unhappy

Optimist Or Pessimist

Time and fate have mocked us all,
be we great or be we small.
The same temptations Jesus thwarted
the Church, I fear, has ofttimes courted.
Luther preached before the throne:
"The just shall live by faith alone."
Yet ""freedom" in a peasant's ears
filled great lords with dread and fears.
"Workers, unite!" was Karl Marx's plea.
The aftermath is plain to see.
A
