Dear Negative Thoughts

Thank you
For putting me down
and leaving me astound,
For which I'm ungrateful
because you've made my life extremely painful.

Names

Naturally particular, normally pedantic, never problematic - pessimism notwithstanding.

Thoughtfully intuitive, interested in thinkers; tactile in time, nuance in tenderness.

I'm tired of
  the preening
  the posturing
  the posing

I'm fed up with
  the pretending
  the petulance
  the pessimism

Time for a new mirror

Pessimism of An Optimist

Give me hope,
Show me all that is possible,
Let me fly and soar,
But nudge me hard,
Like the famous bard,
Every now and then,
And show me as well,
All that which can't be done.

Premium Member Youthfulness

Youthfulness is not about being young or old
It's about enthusiasm
When enthusiasm fades, pessimism begins
As true Christian our hope keeps up our enthusiasm and our youth

2020 Is Coming

If you think that your life’s in reverse — so adverse that you can’t help but curse, I’ve got news for you, pal: it might harm your morale... Things are certain to get muchly worse.

You

People who want misery
will find it in everything

An angel becomes the devil
The flower wilts
A cloud blocks the shining sun

Angry people pick fights with you
pretending it's themselves

Don't be your own
 Worst
   Enemy.

Phukface

I tread in diverse masks

Sheathed by barricades of fear

You shan’t gain answers shall you ask

I tread in diverse masks

Sip of pessimism from a flask

‘Tis the only sound I hear

I tread in diverse masks

Sheathed by barricades of fear

The Age of the Vague and Fearful

I have some trembling hands;
I can scarcely type a word.
The Age of Pessimism has passed
Like the sweeping dress of a ballroom dancer
   From another passed time,
So we find ourselves in the
Age of the Vague and Fearful.

Sometimes I'm full of hope and optimism.
Other times I feel hopelessness and pessimism.
It can drive one crazy having such feelings conflicting.
If true balance can be attained, I pray for its fruition
without the use of pharmaceutical medication.

Point of View

pessimism
Due to the forecast, foreboding fellas have cancelled the parade.
Despite the weather, bring umbrellas, join us as we promenade.
                                      optimism

Fear of freedom, blue skies now seem grey
Phlegmatic pessimism, own hand stays
Whilst cheerful maverick
Fearless to try new tricks
Makes escape to freedom, simple play

Oh No, the Heaven

The ancient times,
Buried the Genesis
Of today's psyches,
Recycled but deformed,
Stale and stinking-
Evolutionary idioms?
The visual décor
And the packaging
Of rotten,
Oh no, The heaven
Ruined with the billowing smokes,
Hiding the power of Sun,
Drumming the catastrophe.

Broken

I have fallen into an unearthly pit of darkness
The walls have all but closed in
A glimpse of light has creeped in through a tiny crevice
Hopes and dreams are fading into the darkness
Pessimism is setting in as the light retreats
Love, my long lost friend
Goodbye and bon voyage

laughing
          in the face of
pessimism
          tautly clutching onto
faith's wings
          fighting against
tempestuous tides
          of existence
still,
          a battered boat
of a man
          remains a f l o a t
gliding past...
          troubled sea

Love's Temprament

Times like this,
I sway in the playground of my mood;
Falling into a melancholic digress.

Hovering over me,
Are misty dews of pessimism.

"How knowledgeable is he
That cannot read minds?"

The heart gets burdened
Knowing not if it's curve,
Would ever be straightened.

Your silence broaches my heart.

Loneliness

glassy-eyed people
moving as in a dream
looking without seeing
seeing without looking

utter hopelessness
pervading their insides
filling them with despair
and pessimism

lustreless eyes
no inner joy
just a deep emptiness
stifling their souls

dried-up people
shutting others out
shutting themselves in
lost in their loneliness

Down

DOWN

Down and down
Until the murk grips
So I cannot breathe
Or cry out helpless
To unreachable assistance
Which never comes
With arms wide to accept
The burden from my back

Far above spins the light
An infinity of vortex
Closing and opening in never-ending
Optimistic pessimism
Full arm-stretch
And widespread fingers
Grasp at nothing
Continually

All In Hope Is Positive

A-ll in hope is positive,
N-o pessimism is found;
N-egative mind is banned,
A-lthough at times you're down.

R-echarge your life with hope,
O-n the twenty-third of May;
S-tay firm and faithful,
E-ven though the sky is gray.
N-o reason to worry about,
D-oubt and fear are negative;
O-pen your heart to optimism, all in hope is positive.
