No one tells you

No one tells you how to smile when your throat closes with every breath behind that smile.

No one tells you how to move forward when the chain around your neck drags you back.

No one tells you how to be positive when your own mind digs into you with horns and a tail.

No one tells you

Wounded by its lack
Distrustful of it 
Inured to its absence 
In thrall to its allure
Fooled by its simulacrum
Estranged from it 
Paralysed by fear of losing it
Inexorably exposed to it 
Resolved against it 
Consumed by longing for it
A scholar to its foreign texts 
A slave to its compulsions 
Compelled to search for it
Forever 
Hopeful

Ascendancy in Diffusion

       Within the tight corsets
     and high collars we remain faucets 
    that the portraits display
    at the exhibition for today


    though young men among us
cross home plate to the wild cheers and fuss
about their food

On the Path

slowly we evolve 
blinking within universes 
moving forward solve
facing ourselves in mirrors 
knowingness sees then stands deep 

nothing becomes time
matter meaningless messy
we sing songs as chime 
when awakening to truth
egos escape shiver shake 

let go forgiving 
untangle own threads and dread
climb green trees to see
eclipses giving clarity
on the path with sanity

Ah! Seven Sisters

 

Ah ! Seven Sisters Wild


                     let your blueness flow in tides
 
     for hot bread and blankets red cosy

loosen grids to free muddled minds rosy

     

wanting fame : footle

                        digging deep

                             

human folly : haiku

         slanting hue 

              sink every desire due  ~

                        cackle

Greengold Dragon

way down into womb was  C O L D
I traveled with Greengold Dragon
red-eyed wide winged, known as GD 
crowned, dripping tears where I was to 
disembark, severing divine connection 
to know emotions Unknown 

“You chose winter to bring light to darkness”, 
GD’s words fell shimmering scales 
I remembered no agreement made 
she enquired ~

My personal grief

The sadness turns into a haunting grief, 
When suddenly my loving spouse leaves, 
Tears start flowing with choked emotions, 
End of world seems in sight, till tears run dry. 

The saga continues for days, months, and years, 
The laughter and joy disappears, no hopes in sight, 
The love and support of family and friends, 
Soothes

The Distance Within

I run the miles deep within,
a subdued race, an unspoken intent,
devoid of spectators-- no finish line,
just breath and heart, both entwined.

The shades lengthen along my path
but still a soft dawn finds its way turning into gray.
Stage

A personal God

From the unmanifest all worlds arose,
with control delegated to a god,
who whilst shape shifting, can strike any pose,
to which heart feels drawn in mind-body pod,
that pure wisdom and power in us grows,
enabled upon giving love our nod.
The gods we believe in are everywhere,
so form or formless, as of free will pair.

God being the all, dwells

Journey on for the Moment

  
if I could describe your soul it would be 
clear mirror shattering forevermore 
where pieces are jigsaw puzzles 
not fitting, falling under oak table  
stuck on persian carpet existing 
upside down on another planet
 
soul shadows broken spiderwebs 
hanging on ceilings not existing
another calls himself father holding
elbow skin blowing in a wind

Destiny

Man’s path of least resistance
is described as destiny.
The outcome predetermined,
as a river running to the sea.
