In gentlest hands

They walk as if they're guided
By winds and gentle hands
Hold lanterns the distance
Held in childish hands

Afar you see them floating
Their Laughter echoes on
Those gentle hands caress them
These ghosts we are among

They were the Children of the sun
But darkness called so sweet
They embraced the gentlest hands
Walked with childish feet

They dissappear into the gloom
Watch the fading light
Those gentle hands have taken
Those children of the night

Glide into me Lord
and let me feel your loving hands
                             resting on my head
Like a wave on the ocean
               move through my soul
                             and bless it
Be the sunlight of my
                     days
                  and the moonshine
                   of my lonely nights
While I peacefully surrender
                   to you
            allow me to rest in
                   your sweet embrace
Let me soar like a bird
                  towards your heavenly
              grace....

                         Amen !

Premium Member Dad

Even though fathers might all seem similar in some ways
They are actually all different as are cats and bears
Or even pirates and trees regardless of hidden fees

When working in the woods
Dad was a bear and a force to be reckoned with
But like a famous man, “he preferred it nice and peaceful”

He liked to be on the go as the winds did blow
On some Father’s Days I would say
“Yo ho Yo ho” we shall go wherever we go

 My thought eventually became
I do not want to relocate any more
But Dad, the good man that he was
Kept us on the go until the end

 I eventually got my wish
Like a fish eventually gets a hook
And every Father’s Day, I think of Dad

PRAYER FOR PEACE

Dear God,
Let me be an instrument of thy PEACE:
Where there is sadness; let me sow joy,
Where there is doubt; let me sow faith,
Where there is injury; let me sow pardon,
Where there is darkness; let me sow light,
Where there is despair; let me sow hope,
Where there is pain; let me sow comfort,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is ignorance, let me sow knowledge
Where there is jealousy, let me sow kindness,
Where there is greed, let me sow humbleness
Let the fruit of the spirit fill my soul so that it may be BEAUTIFUL!
Love Always,
Jenny

Peaceful Moments

The sounds of relaxation
The moment of surrender
Jesus is the answer
A time of peace, not grief
Within silence
Mind restoration
Peaceful moments
Joy and laughter's
Before the chaos
Revitalizing strength
Peace within.

Times of needed peace. The atmosphere can be toxic and full of negativity. I will have my JOY. Noone can or will take that away from me.

Silent Hymn

She left no echo, made no sound,
Just folded time without a frown.
No curtain call, no loud applause—
Just grace departing without pause.

A hand once warm now gently still,
A final breath, a resting will.
And yet, her presence lingers on—
In morning light and dusk till dawn.

Soft is the way the faithful part—
A silent hymn within the heart.
No need for words, no need to cry,
Just love wrapped in a silent hymn.

In quiet grace, their spirits fly.

MY CUTTING VASE GARDEN
My garden is so relaxing for me,
The bright green, lush lawn,
Wonderful flowers, such a joy to see!!
I noticed the other day,
The return of the leaf cutter bee,
Shaping each leaf in patterns,
So delicately.
There's lavender so calming,
Sweet peas, with scent so amazing!!
Of course, there's the beautiful rose,
A garden, I love to spend my days in.
There is pretty white boarders,
And foxgloves, standing so tall,
I have my cutting garden vases,
I can fill them all!!
A garden full of vibrant flowers,
Brings such delight for me,
My beautifu,l cutting vase garden,
Is where you will always find me!!

Peaceful Thoughts

Sing
of love
through the night.
The joy of peace
shall sing in the heart.
Let the joy now begin.
The crimson heart is aflame
Passion's rise within Luna's gaze.
The desire's flow through a crimson sky.
Our hearts meld into one as Luna sings.
We fly into the night on wings of love.
The crimson heart beats with emotion.
We both long for love's tender touch,
soon to be in tender joy,
in joy supreme we sing.
Peace and joy shining bright,
love's crimson shining.
A tender kiss
of love's dream.
Passion
sings.

Peaceful shadows

Take my heart and walk with me,
through peaceful dreams of passion's grace.
Let us walk through the nightly shadows,
where love does shine within the night.

We see the wonders of the velvet dark,
when Luna caresses it gently.
We find what we shall find in the peaceful shadows,
as we hold each other tenderly.

Love ever sings within Luna's night,
two hearts touching in tender grace.
Two hearts beat a joyful symphony,
as our temples join in passionate peace.

Let us walk through Heaven's infinity,
passion and desire filling the night.
Through the midst of God's timeless sea,
we shall walk into love's eternity.

There we shall fulfil our every desire,
our passions aflame in love's crimson glare.
our desires are alight as love does flow,
as our temples join in the peaceful shadows.

SUNSET

As the sun goes down,
And the skies turn grey,
The sunset fades,
So slowly away.
The orange and yellow, so beautifully glow,
A wonderful, colourful display,
Such a beautiful show!!
The days go so quickly,
And the night draws near,
Today is nearly done.
Put aside your troubles and fears.
Rest your weary head,
Remember the things that made you smile,
The moments that bring you joy,
Every once in a while.
Moments to treasure,
The good things about the day,
And wishing all your dreams come true,
Sending happiness your way!!
Starting tomorrow,
With a brand new sunshine day!!

My Town: Columbus, Mississippi

My town is a very friendly city,
Filled with great music and attractive art.
Long, dirt roads surrounded with great Pine Trees
An incredible Air Force base with planes,
that soar above the small town I call home.
Peaceful rivers where most go in summer.
Tasty southern meals at every table,
Worshiping churches everywhere you go,
Historic culture all throughout the town.
Beautiful wildflowers seen in spring,
along with loving and pleasant people.
Old antebellum homes and public schools.
Little statues with very big meanings.
Housing the first public women’s college.
Possum Town, where many lives are rooted,
which does include my family and I.
With a great heart, comes lots of great people.
This town is all I have known my whole life.
From the building I took my first breath in,
to the little league fields I stepped foot on.

Help to unwind

The hustle and bustle,
And the stresses of today,
Can seem overwhelming,
And often gets in the way.
Go for a stroll,
And venture outside,
Take in the surroundings,
Of the beauty you find.
The magic of nature,
The breathe of fresh air,
Feel the calmness within you,
Enjoy, while you are there!!
Unwind and enjoy the day!!

painted ladies

over the years i have forgotten her eyes
that her smile was soft
and her hair like chiffon on a wednesday morning

we walked along stanyan street
celebrating the colors of a fall morning
listening to simon and garfunkel
and watching steam rise from beneath the street

the majesty of the painted ladies
on steiner street came alive as they stared us down
two lovers hand in hand
looking for a place to lay a blanket
in alamo square park

we must have looked bland
compared to their flamboyancy
queen anne archetecture—fancy and flashy
combinations of bay windows
from which lovers could be watched
jutting turrets and ornately decorated rooflines

even then, when i saw the brilliant pink
of a lady, i saw you, your lips, your smile
and of the blue, i saw your eyes, the sparkle
the laughing way they looked at me

yet i have forgotten the colors
and only the painted ladies
on steiner street remind me
of that morning
looking for a place to lay a blanket
in alamo square park
