Premium Member A Peaceful I Love You

An early outing for my friend and I
We walked the winding path down to the springs
The uncut winter hay is now waist high
And in the morning breeze it softly sings

Red Indian paintbrushes are in bloom
As are the downy phlox and dogwood trees
How sweet the smell of birth in nature's womb
Attracting butterflies and honey bees

The passerine song birds are in full throat
While woodpeckers and sap suckers keep time
Mid air, white cotton hayseeds gently float
So gracefully they dance their pantomime

And in that moment, in the tarnished hay
The gurgling springs still hidden from my view
With nature's springtime beauty on display
I heard her say a peaceful. "I love you"

A Peaceful Smile

"Before the winds were born and there were signs of life,
 your beauty was already stirring inside my soul."

Star light shine down for me this night
for I may see just one more time
through hungry eyes
a solemn soul   still
in contemplation

Strokes gentle in a sea of silk
reflected in a perfect way
showing beauty
unknown   still
seeing faults

Night carry your breeze to her side
blow away any guilt
leaving   just
visions    still
and a peaceful smile

Calm Waves On Peaceful Seas

Within Nature rests a rose scented breath
Its whispers a call against mortal death,
    When brother sun it tempts to rise and shine
	Sets dawn and morning light to this define,
	                        As sweet life meant to be,
							Calm waves on peaceful seas.

Within vibrant beats of romantic heart
Gasping echoes, sounding true love starts,
    By ones destined dream that often decrees
	Giving up harvesting fruits from greedy trees,
	                        As sweet life meant to be,
							Calm waves on peaceful seas.

Within man's earthen plight, oft treasures lay
Among the shadows of sun's dying day,
    Begging love seeking souls to soon be found
	And born to heart as free spirit unbound,
	                        As sweet life meant to be,
							Calm waves on peaceful seas.

Rhyme, ( As Life, Love and Living was meant to be )

Note:
Looking back upon life's glowing mirror,
it casting images that tender heart so craves,
aghast at many things now so clearer
and praying deep, that something remembered saves.

As I go through my dreams

    In life's enchanted garden

    Dressed in regal attire

    You give me strength

    And make me whole

    I'm caught in the moment

Peaceful Plot

Put bird feeder by my stone,
so I will never be alone;
plant a tree, apple or pear,
flowers to give the spot some flair;
at least some grass, but do not trim,
so people might come on a whim
to share the earth with one below
lined up along this cemetery row.
A marbled bench would be so nice,
or birdbath for some added spice;
I do not want my resting place
to be unseemly, lacking grace.

Indigenous Feel of Peaceful Love

Indigenous feel of peaceful love Interferencing touch of skin
 There has been no where better I have been
So empowered , clean , free
  Often like Im at ease , drinking a tea ,

With stream ,
 Although a dream It may seem

Weightlessly I can consumate
a lot more tonnage
At lifes pondurousness ,

Positive evoke , Energy we soak ,
 Life comes on a stroke , but we stroke ...
 So much left to unlock .

Potential in the abnormality , we catch stars with dignity ,
  As one comes as one goes
  Fly Away.. the crows
  Come over , our doves
  Closer together , the line draws
  the hole hollows

 Heart follows
   Sweet marshmellows
   and melons

We're here in the comfort
     in the fort of love

Peaceful Lovers Dream

Lie next to me, and you will see,
As we read each other’s mind…
When your heart beats, mine repeats
and both benefit in kind.
Time stands still, or so it seems,
in our hammock strung
between two dreams.
Side by side, we hear the tide,
and not a word is spoken.
Love came in through a door
we didn’t know was open…

Did You Have a Peaceful Night

I'm sitting on the sofa your head rests on my thigh
You haven't slept for so long , Darling won't you try
Tenderly my fingers running through your hair
Beautiful eyes getting heavy, Comforted by the love we share.

I can see that you are dreaming , A smile upon your lips
As softly I caress you with my loving fingertips .
That wonderful glow returning as an hour turns to two
Sleep well my darling , I'm here holding you .

In the early hours you're stirring , Gently my lips brush yours
I know my heart has been taken by the girl that I adore .
I lift you in my arms and carry you to bed
I spend the whole night spooning you as you sleep so contented.

Next morning when you waken , I kiss and hug you tight
Did you sleep well my darling ? Did you have a peaceful night ?
I'm delighted to see you so refreshed , The colour restored to your cheeks
The strength of our true love I hear in your voice as you speak.

Today will be a good day , You'll face challenges anew
My love will be with you in all you try to do
Tonight we'll be together and i'll hug you once more
But for now its my turn to dream of the sweet girl I adore .

Peaceful Waters

Peaceful Waters

Peaceful waters;
flow through my mind.
Helping me;
to leave worries behind.

Peaceful waters;
stir my soul.
Taking me;
Closer to my goal.

Peaceful waters;
heal my heart.
Calming me;
While we're apart.

Peaceful waters;
where the Creator abides.
Connecting me;
As a spiritual guide.

Peaceful waters;
restoring my gleam.
Soothing my spirit;
Carrying me to dreams.

The Little House

The cat sat on the windowsill,
And stirred a little in his sleep.
Each breath a cloud upon the glass
And outside the snow was falling fast
The children all went out to play,
But he couldn’t be bothered to move today.
The radiator hummed, and the woman hummed,
And the cat hummed in his sleep.
And all about the little house,
The snow was getting deep.

The woman sat beside the fire,
And sung a merry little tune.
As she sung, back and forth she rocks,
Darning a pair of colorful socks.
Her hair is turning silver-gray,
But you’d never believe she had aged a day
Since she and the cat and a box full of shoes
Came to the house on the dune.
And all about the little house,
The snow reflected the moon.

Premium Member A Peaceful Valley Sunday----Potd---

This is where I indeed, do live!
With many churches, to support and which to give.

Murder is a most rare occurrence here.
No riots, no drunks, walking about, slugging down a beer.

Trees are luscious green, all year round.
Flowers grow in lovely silence, not uttering a sound.

Bunnies, opossums, cats at happy play.
Would that our world were as sweet, as this peaceful valley Sunday!

A Peaceful Flow

Can't recall the last time
if there ever was a time
~
where deep thoughts penetrated
the lengths of my night

pain always pulling
throbbing
me out of a dream

no fantasy no steam
no statisfaction
of a lip licking need

but there I was
naked under cover
of your watchful eye
a most longingly eye

"birds dipped their wings
in the lucid flow of air"
and the fire was burning near

I touched your soul
(it was warm)
along with your heart
as I inched deeper and deeper
into your seams

kisses were savoured

you nibbled relentlessly
upon my grace

I felt your face
etched in my mind
and I smelled your skin
not dripped with perfume
but with love and eternal care

I could not help but disappear
again lost within your lair
and as there I laid
I drifted peacefully with the birds
watching

Premium Member Peaceful Dreams

Hitched a ride on a reindeer last night
As Northern Lights painted the sky
On top of a manger below
The most heavenly star cast its glow
In the frosty air, voices I heard
The angelic choir spreading God’s word

     “On this Christmas Morn, a Savior is born”

When the snow finally started to fall
I had visions of peace for us all
Every nation had faith, hope and joy
There was love for each girl and each boy
But when I woke, things were not as they’d seemed
Can we only find peace in our dreams

     “There’ll be no crisis; no talk of ISIS
     On this Christmas morn, a Savior is born”

Premium Member Peaceful Hours

The night is still and all asleep
God’s creatures now their silence keep
While moonbeams shine on land and sea.
We put to rest a long, hard day
Our stress and worries fly away—
For this time, dear God, we thank Thee.
The night is still and all asleep
God’s creatures now their silence keep.

Nature sleeps through the quiet night
And nothing will disturb the light
While moonbeams shine on land and sea;
For this time, dear God, we thank Thee.
The night is still and all asleep
God’s creatures now their silence keep.

wrap me in threads of moonlit grass
just for this single waning eve
though blossoms rest on quiet waves
I feel split from the halves of earth
as wickers of fear grate me within--
then come for me; be the thread... and as

night becomes my morning blue silver
if only to taste this light in soft of hours
and touch the kaleidoscope of my eyes
when all this grating phobia vanishes;
then let morning thrill upon evening

on its limitless, seamless fearless place.
