Evermore under the moon’s peaceable
beaming,
are the dreams of the day’s laborers ~

Premium Member Twisted Words

Twisted Words are they your fears you hold onto
written on your scroll? That you project on me?

Twisted Words robs someone of their joy and
One's character, tend to dig ditches to entangle
someone's growth, control of one's mind? Am I
imagining. Twisted Words

Ruthless beings for whatever reasons they conspire
And question someone on things unknown. They
Slander someone unceasingly. All day long they
twist someone words for ruin. Twisted Words

Their words are like fire flammable attempting to consume
someonelicking these wounds that are trying to break
someone down. Twisted Words

They do not speak peaceable, but devise false accusations. Twisted Words

I would not let them consume my peace of mind, integrity.
I release you, No shame or confusion will I embrace. Twisted Words

Counted as zero is every of his deed
violence needs a recruit and comes with an expensive bead
for a person envied by the dove? Not this creed!
The quest for peace has reached the level of greed
shy, reverent and peaceable, this person is not just timid
a nature full of warmth, excellent for any seed
on calmness and free flow, from him the river takes heed
an existence not suspicious because gentleness takes the lead
ego has been exempted from its routine feed
the older he grows, the more his long-suffering breeds
no wonder, he never seem to be in any need.

"The devil's finest trick is to persuade you that he does not exist."
                                                                 ~ Charles Baudelaire

The more he declares his innocence, the more there is to fear
he who dons disguises but beware that he's among us here.
We catch a glimpse of his impish and cunning, his wily ways
when he hides his shrewdness in sweet talk. It's how he plays
his devious game. Many monikers he bears, thinking he's slick
as he swears, "I'm peaceable." Be wary, do not fall for his trick.

No Anchor For Rancour

If only the archangel Gabriel
would visit and with holy host proclaim
“Children of Creation, let there be
no anchor for rancor in the Dead Sea,
nor fuel for cruelty in Bethlehem;
let people enjoy temple, steeple, and mosque,
live their lives and their loves without mayhem,”
perhaps the shredding shrapnel that shocks
us into rage at loss would cease, and we could reclaim
our lease on the peaceable kingdom, calm and stable,
and at long last not till the soil of hatred
to bitter harvest in the sacred homeland.

The fighter who was with
a brilliant golden bow
the desired arrow
the fire tank!

He uttered a lamb's peaceable sigh
and the sheep's mellow reaction
to a lamb was always credited to its maker
unstoppable internal conflict
never let the sword sleep
design and build Jerusalem.

In the verdant English countryside
wandered around from one field to another,
enjoying the season's bounty to the fullest
Gliding through the rays of the sun.

In search of sympathy, insight, and peace
his gaze was drawn to a love orchard
numerous fragrant flowers burst forth
he was called Joy
unleash instinct and destroy reason
his art is defined by decked nakedness.

William Blake [1757-1827] was one of the most influential poets and artists of his day.

Scream

Scream for all the world to hear
Make their drums reverberate and tremble
Force them to listen to your silence
Those who've stretched your borrowed ear

With their incessant whispers
They've returned no outlet for your fire
For the intense pressure building inside
While we, the close few, can see the sparks

They burn bright behind those placid eyes
And we dread the impending destruction
Borne from the embers of its desire
The sequence of inevitability

That only from the ash will they understand
The reason your peaceable hand
Is held tight over the truth of your speech
And kept away from others hunger for help
.
Let it be known that you have a voice
One that may smell of roses and spring
That there is pain caught in your throat
Swallowed whole each day by your pride

CAUGHT IN A NIGHTMARE

Go out for a good time,
when caught in a nightmare.
Gun shots, hysteria,
around you …every where.

This is world’s new normal,
tho not supposed to be.
This in America,
home of the brave … and free.

Free all right free of peace,
from Eden far removed,
Everyone thinks they’re right,
see what this … has proved.

“Far as depends on you
be peaceable,” been taught. *
I’m neutral; Peace Maker,
will you do … as you ought?

Faith In the Prophetic

It can never be
This heart's fallacy;
True love dawning's, truly
Makes peaceable.
Unless through this word
Are touched by the Lord;
Earth, as paradise, restored
Makes believable.

Intense; and Peaceable

Intense; and peaceable!
Storm's approach; sunset's.
Facing Death, as much at odds
What to feel begets.

The Common Man

to Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen

The common man gets up in the morning
To work in. order to feed his family,
The common man struggles to make ends meet
Not letting his family go hungry,
The common man prays for his family daily
From any hurt harm or danger
That's what the common man does.

The common loves his wife and kids,
Holding things together everyday.
The common man works sunrise to sunset
Does what he can in every way.
The common man is peaceable to his fellow man
Not in war with his neighbor
Being the kind of man who loves----
Yeah, that's what the common man does.

The common man believes in God
And all His wondrous things He do,
Prays with his family daily
He tries to be true,
True to his family and his God
That's common man as you see
And that's what he does.

Now that you know what is a common man,
And what a common man does and do,
I guess you can see my point of view
Then clearly understand
About the common man.

In case you haven't seen one
Look around and take a good look----
And you'll surely fine and understood
The common man and his purpose
Yes that's what the common man does.

Premium Member Life's Struggles

Our encounters of life and its struggles
Endowed amidst the peaceable silence,
Crisp leaves veiling life, into a wonder
Night curtly lull, in early calm slumber.

Time will come, smile, welcome with elation,
Then the lion's roar, perched on the loud sound
Influence the tall emerald meadow
Sated power of thunder spring rain flow.

Life is, but a spirit of glory.
A moment, a feeling, an embrace,
We smile, we cry, we win, we lose, we rejoice,
We're awakened, we come, we go, we have a choice.

In my days of wonder
War was just a concept
Peace was like a shadow
Creeping on my lawn

Love was like a fire
On a sleepy morning
When the snow is falling
Tapping at my door

In my youth I loved him
Like I loved the Springtime
Flowers in the sunshine
Pebbles on the shore

He was sad but gentle
Like a weeping willow
Teardrops on my pillow
Meadowlarks at dawn

He began to tell me
Of his love for Autumn
Leaves like golden rainbows
Splashing in the sun

We were fond of breezes
Shadows in the desert
Crystal lakes on mountains
Dollars in the sand

In this time of loving
Winds of war were rising
Like a cyclone sweeping
Everything in sight

Still we never noticed
When we were together
Anything more frightful
Than a fairy tale

In our fields of clover
Honeybees were buzzing
Clouds were gently marching
In a light brigade

Like the trees in winter
Shed of summer foliage
Sorrow came to find us
Knocking at our door

For the sake of duty
And misguided notions
Peaceable devotions
Took my love away

In his gentle meekness
Love is my hiatus
Amber waves of sunshine
Reap a scarlet sky.
