Man’s path of least resistance
is described as destiny.
The outcome predetermined,
as a river running to the sea.
One foot in front of the other,
Listening to the Mother.
Rumbling and tumbling,
Through the water.
And thought about,
The path it sought.
Since it began,
A trickle in the sand.
A puddle on the land,
S?ince time began.
Winding and Flowing,
Finding its way.
Eroding and growing,
Never knowing,
Where it's going.
Bestowing life,
T?o all along the way.
A path now showing,
It'll never sway,
Stays the course.
Patiently waiting,
Building up force.
A persistent existence,
Going the distance.
The path of least resistance,
Can change in an instant.
Is life any different?
Unstoppable,
Flowing freely.
Controllable,
Packaged neatly.
Who will you be?
Contained, trained,
Refrained from its domain.
Or connect together,
Let our river of life,
F?low on forever.
The eye will deceive,
but the water never lies ~
always, ever down.
Patiently seeking
the path of least resistance ~
not to be denied.
Gravity enjoined ~
a tool and not a hindrance
harnessed all in time.
After all, what is
a stall in forward progress,
but time to reflect?
Babbling with laughter,
overjoyed by sweet release ~
gushing free again.
Unnoticed by all,
wielded by the Time Keeper,
playing the long game.
A watercolor
canyon as magnum opus
on the grandest scale ~
to the Creator’s delight.

Subversions of expectations.
Settling for the least of distressing.
You have an ISSUE with the
LGBTQ people.
You gather in your church with
The high steeple.
This does not mean LGBTQ
People have ISSUE'S.
You keep spreading hate,
The crap continues.
You must see us as a
Threat to you.
These words you speak about
Us are untrue
There is infinite space for
Us to live here.
You hate on the basis
We are *****.
Life is hard, you tend
To make it harder.
Why would you play
The martyr?
You say you walk with the lord,
Yet, you judge others.
I believe the good word says
We are sisters and brothers.
You try and hate us,
Out of existence.
We have never chosen the
Path of least resistance.
We are born this way,
You choose to hate.
All this because of,
Who we choose as a mate.
From where I'm standing,
You appear mentally ill.
There is a helper for you,
Just swallow the pill.
We are here to stay and
We are PROUD.
We are the COALITION of the
RAINBOW CROWD.

ALUMINUM SIDING
my heart is buried behind the aluminum siding,
trapped inside that bubbly feeling i’d get when your arms would graze my waist,
in the late night bus rides when the light slipping through the shutters swathed your smirk in soft, blazing bandages.
you called me darling back then.
why won’t you call me darling again?
your love was scrawled between ink splotches, inside hugs and eyebrow raises,
while i thought it was too timid to beat its way out of your rib cage.
why didn’t i see where everything was hidden sooner?
my metamorphosis into something more unhinged began the day i left you.
and with you, i left everything i love behind.
you twirled saturn’s rings around my fingers
and scribbled possums on sticky notes that i treated as love letters, hiding them in scratched phone cases and backpack pockets, carrying your heart on my sleeve, mushed in with chewed erasers and tangled earbuds.
so now i walk the heartwrenching path of least resistance away from you,
but it’s not the path around the aluminum siding we used to take.
I can relate to, screwed up family,
Loss, abuse and depression.
I can understand, addiction, grief,
The taste of one's own medicine.
I can comprehend, abandonment,
Betrayal and neglect.
I get how most things work
And interconnect.
I'm familiar with empathy,
Kindness and compassion.
I'm puzzled by the
Laws of attraction.
I know energy, forgiveness, strength,
Peace and love.
I have learned grace, gratitude and some
Things you need to just let go of.
I'm aware of unity, not giving up,
The power of positivity.
I believe we should judge by character,
Not race, color, or ethnicity.
I have never surrendered or
Chose the path of least resistance.
I'm a warrior, still standing,
Fighting, hate my entire existence.

Time Marches On
Time marches on,
but things can change.
The flow of life is the same,
but we can spin away.
Find a place to abide;
a life to call your own.
Find a way to live;
a way to feel alive.
All the road blocks,
will guide your way.
Till you are strong enough,
to crush them all.
That path of least resistance,
is how the water flows.
Carving a river, a gorge,
a valley, and canyons deep.
Find the path,
that works for you.
Seek the way,
to grow and shine.
You are important.
You can make a difference.
As time marches on,
and you flow with it.
LIFE’S JOURNEY
================
Choose your path wisely and correctly,
Learn to walk on your chosen route steadily.
You may meet with ups and downs on your way,
Remember they are meant to pass your way.
The Path of least resistance is not always the best
To achieve great things on your journey.
Be not a train running on the same track;
Find various ways to progress in your life!
Water, when it is trapped, develops a new path.
Likewise, find new ways to improve your journey.
Few can accompany you to complete it;
You must walk on your own and finish it.
All the paths are not smooth and bright,
But even dark ones have a way through!
Beautiful new paths may be found,
When you get lost on your journey.
You need a clear route to reach your goal,
Take your steps carefully to accomplish it.
Paths are many to reach your destination,
Choose wisely the best way through.

Idlers, like electricity, choose to travel...
the path of least resistance;
meeting "The impossible"
with immediate resignation.
However, the mantra of go-getters:
"Get it done, or perish at the attempt!"

Heart
is where
our desires
arise due to
nature of our self,
in incessant motion,
seeking expansion of joy
by the path of least resistance,
which is why we tend to go astray,
since our senses five, are externalised.
Finding joys fleeting, replaced by sorrow,
we go back, within, into our heart,
wherefrom our desires did arise,
choice of soul now cessation,
in thought rested stillness,
shifting to prayer
to reconnect
lower mind
with Gods
love.

Being Persistent
By: Miracle Man

One of the biggest illusions many have,
is that of entitlement.
Few things arrive on a silver platter,
and when they do,
absent is any feeling of gratification.
Countless are obsessed,
by visions of having what another has,
but without cost, feeling entitled.
Each person should strive to earn,
their space in life.
God fills each path with stepping stones,
that advance us toward our goals.
Yet chosen too often,
is the path of least resistance,
And many become just disembodied voices.
Rise to the top, Cream does.
Upon heart yearning for divine connect
Consciousness aligned, Sushumna erect
Stirrings begin arising at the root
Entranced by melody of Krishna’s flute
Ascending by path of least resistance
Energy flows in childlike innocence
Whilst the Ida and Pingala do spiral
The rapid central funnel optimal
Whilst we cannot determine the pathway
Distilling attention, we cease to sway
Distanced from all ego cravings feral
We melt into the void ethereal
This non-doer doing, meditation
Positioning ourself in cessation
Empty within, blockages do vaporise
Readying us to imbibe the surprise
We would do well to repeat this practice
Rekindling thus, our innate innocence
Becoming lighter, our form magnetised
Surrender induces Shakti to rise
What happens thereafter, automatic
Shakti being the all knowing mystic
Rises to the crown, descends to the heart
Union therein and bliss ignition starts
The energy path is clear and direct
Love aligned, all we do is stand erect
Trusting the flow of the current divine
Love electrified for love yet does pine

COVID -19
Irrespective of what your size is
You are not immune to Coronavirus
So stay at home is sound advice
As you may lose at the throw of the dice
Man, woman or child, it does not care
So dice with death...if you dare.
This evil curse is here for a while
He conducts his business with artless guile
To offer the path of least resistance
You must be sensible and keep your distance.
This is not a disease to be treated lightly
And one that will not go politely.
Before he does he will take his toll
Of thousands of humans and not trouble his soul.
If you are lucky enough to escape his scythe
Consider how others managed to survive.
Often by the unselfishness of the NHS
Those doctors, nurses, carers we will forever bless
If it was not for the unselfish acts of public health staff
There could many more treading a one way path.

I've made the wrong choice,
the voice,
in my head said go,
when instead,
it should have said,
whoa!
Take what you know
and think for a while,
reconcile,
go that mile
before you act,
show some tact,
don't react to feeling,
you're dealing
with bigger things here,
the fear
of the unknown,
you need to be shown
another way,
which, on another day,
wouldn't let you stray
down this path of least resistance,
so, in this instance,
you have no choice,
don't listen to that voice.
