Being Persistent
Being Persistent

One of the biggest illusions many have,
is that of entitlement.
Few things arrive on a silver platter,
and when they do,
absent is any feeling of gratification.
Countless are obsessed,
by visions of having what another has,
but without cost, feeling entitled.
Each person should strive to earn,
their space in life.
God fills each path with stepping stones,
that advance us toward our goals.
Yet chosen too often,
is the path of least resistance,
And many become just disembodied voices.
Rise to the top, Cream does.
