An Ordinary Tuesday

An Ordinary Tuesday

An ordinary Tuesday
Alarm clocks wake sleepy heads
Breakfasts eaten in a hurry
People rushing to get to work
Traffic jams, buses running late
Flights to catch, flights delayed
Children entering their classrooms
Teachers ready to face another day
Moms having another cup of coffee
Errands to be run, meals to be planned
Lunch dates to be arranged
Just an ordinary Tuesday

The sun in a cloudless blue sky
A hint of autumn in the air
Trees thinking about shedding their leaves
Birds on their migratory journeys
Squirrls and chipmunks scampering
To find the first acorns
Just an ordinary Tuesday

Firemen,EMTS, policemen
Doctors, nurses, and ordinary people
 go about their day
A President listens to second graders
reading their favorite books
Just an ordinary Tuesday
until the world changed

Evil roared to life
 on that ordinary Tuesday
Stealing lives,stealing calm
Stealing the peace we all knew
But on that ordinary Tuesday
As the world shed its tears
Our country came together
And pledged to never forget
That ordinary Tuesday morning
When the world changed

Scattered in a thousand clouds
The grey sky hangs low
What’s the scoop they talk about
I don’t want to know
Off I go to buy some food
Shop’s across the street
Their ready-mades are good
And the wine is neat
May the rich relax and sip
Their brut champagne
May the poor people sleep
In the pouring rain
Take it as it comes they say
But the wind blows cold
Colder than the other day
When I tried to call
Heard the sound of the bell
Ringing in my ears
You might feeling not too well
After all these years.

Premium Member Ordinary love versus true love

Ordinary love
comes in many shapes
and forms.
But
True love
comes once in a lifetime.
So when it knocks
on your heart's door,
answer it
welcome it
embrace it
and never let it go.

Ordinary love
can be destroyed
by careless whispers
petty jealousies
and other outside forces
But
True love
is protected by building
a strong foundation
two people
one thought
one vision
one heart
one promise
one love.

Ordinary love
can be easily destroyed.
But
True love
is totally different.
No matter what
the situation
it can be dealt with
and handled.
It's been said,
"what God has joined together,
let no one put asunder".

Ordinary love
comes in all shapes
and forms.
But
True love
can conquer all.

The Weight of Ordinary Days

We thought the road would open
like a polite door.
Instead, it asked for rent—
blood, patience, unfinished sleep.
We learned to carry silence
the way workers carry iron:
close to the spine,
without complaint.
Some walked beside us
for a season of weather,
then vanished at the next turning,
leaving their warmth in the air.
Fortune, that moody landlord,
changed the locks overnight.
Still, the caravan moved.
Still, our shoes remembered forward.
There were losses
that taught us shape,
and distances
that taught us name.
Life was never easy.
Only our youth was certain it would be.

We call it miraculous
when a spider spins
her silk from nothing,
when the salmon remembers
the taste of its birth river
after years of salt.

The priest says faith
but the maple knows better:
its roots drink darkness
while its fingers clutch light,
turning air into sugar~
a green chemisty
we call ordinary

And you,
with your body’s quiet insistence
on healing~
the way your scars bloom softer
than the wound,
how your laughter still arrives,
unexpected,
like a telegram from the dead.

Miracle is just the word
we give to things
we’ve forgotten
how to do.

Ordinary people in an extraordinary aurora borealis

Ordinary people in an extraordinary aurora borealis
What is creativity?
A fanciful hue between renunciation and repudiation that never
fully control whence she recited in your mind ,
fair daffodil you haste away so soon!
Transitory! Seemingly so!
I fancied otherwise! Thoughtfully so!
A Rustam Hudaygulyv
Who could be a pen pal
He does not need to be one!
I was a pen pal, and there is also creativity!
As the ordinary light casts a hue on the brazen clue
In the land of the never
Still extra ordinary lives are also there, simple and soliloquy
A simple humble key to your imagination.
Humbling too!

What Stayed

Beauty isn’t the shine.
It’s what comes after--
when something still holds
in the quiet.

It lives in a chair
pulled out for someone tired,
in fruit split open
because it’s ready.

Beauty does not rush.
It stays in ordinary things,
long enough
for us to notice.

A clean cup.
A sure hand.
Light resting
on what stayed.

Nothing needs to be noticed,
what is here is enough.

Give the frowsy-ordinary a major glow-up
celebrate the holidays, any holiday, you choose
put hedonism, desire theory and list theory to work
feast, carol well and let spirits soar
our souls are not solus - be with friends, heck, make new friends
chaos is the magic agent
happiness isn’t scripted, it’s a process,
by New Years, perhaps, we’ll all collapse in euphoric exhaustion
but we’ll have had the experience

When Love Calls Me Sweetboy

I think I'm in Love
Because these days, she's the first person on my mind
I wake up thinking about her
No wonder

You stop thinking straight when you are in love, people say
And maybe that is true...
Because even when they try to warn me
I don't pay attention nor lend them my ear
Cause I only listen when its her voice

Wait, i think am in love
she calls me Sweetboy
And the way she says it, wow
It really does something to me,
It makes me feel seen, wanted
and soft in a best way

I think am in love
Maybe I'm blind
Maybe I don’t listen....
Maybe I am rushing into something I can't explain
But if it is what being foolish looks like,
Then let me be foolish in her name "Salaamah"

I think am in love
She is turning ordinary into something i crave
Because everyday
I find a new way
To fall deep into Hendrinae
And everytime She calls me Sweetboy
I believe a little more
That my heart has already choosen her

Ordinary Tragedy

One couple of days, the silver lining is always present
sited, I looked out at the window, neck is bent
always, behead me so neatly, swiftly, bloodless
leaving me naked, standing there lying, on the floor, breathless.

One bright day, the haunting blade is absent
I finally received the mail you sent
upon discovering what's inside
out of its mouth, it poured out landslide.

Into the Ordinary

After a cup of Columbian
I have to admit that the day
might turn out okay.
Ordinary miracles are on their job,
and I am blessed to be
Gods special little guy.
