Offences Poems

Premium MemberPardon My French

The most feckless corrupt Pres in living memory pardons his grifter son.

But not just for deliberately evading taxes and firearms violations. No, Joe went further. His pardon includes all offences he may or may not have committed back to Jan 1 2014 which coincidentally gives him immunity for his time as a Burisma board member as a crackhead earning millions of dollars in Ukraine and influence peddling selling access deals to Russian oligarchs and Chinese companies aligned with the Chinese Communist Party. All with daddy’s knowledge and approval.

Well pardon my French but that is a f***in’ disgrace!

Unsettled Vitality

The betrayal offences rendered on us daily unsettles swiftly progress.

They simmer and stir and spread.

Resentment, unforgiveness lead us to revenge.

Bitterness spreads so contagiously like a disease.

Infests and infecting all within reach.

God’s guidance keep my emotions in check.

Clear my heart of all distress.

As I mediate on your love and goodness

As feelings seem to resurface.

I seek your forgiveness,

You so graciously give.

Living with compassion and easily forgiving

is a commitment we must make.

Premium MemberMANKIND ON TRIAL

You drove many species to extinction.
You plundered, thinking all the earth was yours.
You dumped your waste causing gross pollution.
You blatantly broke all of Nature’s Laws.
Just where have these offences now brought you?
Surely you see that you’re in one big mess.
Your arrogance and greed just grew and grew.
Perhaps it’s time to come clean and confess.
But oh, you will not admit wrongdoing.
You got away with it, so you assumed.
From the mess you’ve made there’s no undoing.
Can you not see your species now is doomed?
Your game of greed was but a shabby show.
Now from this precious planet you must go.

Premium MemberHaving Ensouled This Form

Having ensouled this form,
to feel by touch each pulse
with tenderness and love,
let’s pray to God that His
grace in-pours from above.

Having ensouled this form,
for a limited time,
waste not this gift of life
in pursuit of desire,
that leads to pain and strife.

Having ensouled this form,
with memory erased,
live not in past tenses
but vibrant here and now,
forgive all offences.

Having ensouled this form,
let’s find out who we are,
for the world is but smoke.
God dwells within our heart;
it’s high time we awoke.

Broken Fences

My senses are over run
You’ve distorted every one
Now my emotions sit on fences
Unsure how to fend offences

How my eyes tend to deceive
Peripheral sightings I believe
You are the corners of my vision
The cause of my internal division

Your taste is everlasting
My reason for desperate fasting
A scent that hits me like a train
Still, I can’t help but inhale again

I hear your laugh in other rooms
And when my still heartbeat resumes
I find them empty in the dark
Wanting your light, just a spark

You always seem just out of reach
I don’t dare of hope to breach
I know you’re not at my fingertips
I swear they feel your fading lips

My senses are forever yours
Gone with why’s and wherefores
Stripped down to my defenses
Fallen off of broken fences

Premium MemberDeath and Taxes

Unto the earth below my end commences
for I have committed life’s last offences.
But not even death will save
me from taxes in the grave
and now I can’t deduct living expenses!

Young Woman of Today

For her replies a much disagreeable voice
Over this daring to rejoice;
Any young man’s triggered depression a delight
His heart failure by half, her show of might;
Not to me different from Arrows of The North
Whose poisoned tip summons my wrath.

Choosing to in styles sway her hip
To ensure that men’s sure steps slip,
Admirers’ stops for pleasantries resenting
For a handshake an unwilling palm presenting;
Often glowering at offences not offered,
In tears dissolving for The-Not-Suffered,
To soon a lawyer hire for the unproven,
Her face lived – a Scalding Oven…

All, what her mother had taught her,
If she wants to with A Guy go far;
Their tutorials always in some closet,
Her first lesson “To always seem upset”.

Premium MemberSins of Commission

I tried to draft a poem to gain your approbation.
But time and distance got in my way.
I tried to write the perfect prose to demonstrate my skill.
But the memory of standing before a rose covered coffin
Left me silent and enraged!

Isn’t it odd how time and distance can distort perception?
Change remembrance,
Warping sad memories, blackening our feelings
Where our unworthiness might dwell.

It is not a type of weakness when communication goes awry.
Misunderstandings can lead to anger.
Clinging to resentment
I wear the wounds, still unattended and raw
seeking correction, repentance, awareness is all.

I did not notice the consequences as this became hearts home.
A self-imposed prison awaiting invisible adjudication.
Waiting for contrition or recompense.
Old offences may be sins of omission.
My heart cannot bring them out of my cell.

Gracious forgiveness is the sad recourse left.
I must stand arm and arm with them now,
And release the debt they will not pay.

I suppose it is latent forgiveness that slows this poet’s pen

And I fall to my knees, bowing my head,
Seeking God’s Grace again.

KINDNESS

Lord Jesus uttered in unbearable pain ‘May God forgive these adamant
people unaware of their guilt, mostly insane.’ That’s the spirit of a graceful
holy heart. Me basically, kind-hearted, and soft minded feeling intense urge
to respond prompt at need of person in misery. Instantaneously I act and
become ready to lend a helping hand expecting no return. Soul reacts
   spontaneous and unbiased
But in cases of malice, offences, wickedness, tortures, I feel no pity and
wish to punish not to forgive.

                                     to be kind is great
                                                till not supporting offence
                                                                or a criminal.

Amazing Love

AMAZING LOVE

With glasses tinted with grace
He looks at each of us
He sees a potential beauty
Talent that we cannot even imagine

His love abides
He was prepared to die
Despite my uncountable offences
He paid it all

No other one can cheer me
When am sad to him I go
He makes me glad
His love keeps me

His love melts a stony heart
I stand in him complete
I lay my trophies down
Oh how he loves me

Amazing love
How can it be?
So infinite his grace
Emptied himself of all but LOVE.

Freedom

With its own refreshing taste…
Any life from it severed, an unarguable waste,
Now seemingly abstract, soon fiercely concrete:
A pair of good shoes for all feet!

Before me solidly sketches a wing,
The palpable symbol of this inalienable thing
That one from Africa can lift
To places farther by the widest shift.

From one freedom is promptly taken away
After senselessly toying with The Law:
Persons by inviting offences led astray
And now to head for some prison door.

Freedom’s foremost friend is the loosest Tongue
Always graphically able to portray a scandal:
A sponsorship of exhaled air from the lungs,
Neatly picturing the scandals of Vandal…
Freedom’s forever sworn enemy is a curfew
Maximum scanty prisons imitating Nephew.

Tomb of Unburied Days

While volcanoes rehearse to show their teeth
lovers shouting from the well of the house
wave broken condoms rather than broken trust

conflate dissent on self-erasing slates
and prove worse than the old oxen
long following circuitous ways

billowing opposition, discalced defenders

they all assert superior dishonesty
sell cheap what is most dear or make
offences of new affections

I carry the tomb of unburied days

If America Is To Survive

If America is to survive,
it must grow up and realize that its very
soul is very full, too full
of hate, racism, crime and disrespect for
its fellowman and its creator.
We all believe that police forces have
only decent officers and administrators,
but, no so and too many of those
administrators, keep looking the
other way while the evil and bad in their forces
commit illegal acts on citizens, especially
people of color.
Once a citizen has been injured
or killed by a police officer or vice a versa, the injury
lasts a lifetime, and the dead cannot
be returned.
Presidents, governors, judges and administrators…
Must all start looking at
crimes committed by police officers
and citizens as criminal acts and stop looking
the other way. Charge those who do such
things with criminal offences
and let the judges do their things without
wearing sun glasses at times.
If something is not changed very,
very soon…look out America.
America, America,
Now what’re you gonna do?

Two hundred fatalities, hundred more to die,
The number keeps growing.
unbridled guns in the hands of sadistic cops,
another victim on choke hold.
he is not of their coat,
no need for the court.
we go there to mourn,
and “justice” a mere joke.
another victim is their statistics,
they brought their ancestors with guns.
Led them forcefully through the seas,
They build the place you called home.
yet murders their children at random,
do they have another home?
They obliterate history and silence the offspring by murders.
he knelt his neck to the grave,
he dares his maker for justice,
A deliberate murder in modern America.
The stretcher was waiting,
cause they meant to kill him.
indeed they killed him,
ensure he died, as he cried helplessly to deaf ears.
This is how they kill us in turns,
And for same offences by Johnny
they look the other way.
Hey Johnny “stay cool” & stay safe.
But they snuff his life out.
Just because his coat is different
again they killed another, who is next?

Goodnight George Floyd
