Best Offences Poems
I was once a thief, never done for Stealing guns,
or knives. Money, laundering offences, or Somebody’s wife.
I robbed God of tithes that I must pay; I was alive but a dead man
Walking, not at my fullest potential in anyway.
Oh yes! I had God’s blessings and favour alright,
But limited to what I could have done without effort
Or fight. I withheld what’s not mine, for a period of time,
Now I got the revelation (Mal 3:8-10) that it’s really not fine.
If you leave a comment it’s entirely up to you, free speech
Make all your opinions known. But that’s under the law
It has no trace, and I say if that was the law what should
I be doing by grace.
I’ve made up my mind to do things God’s way, due respect
To the opinions you’ve given today. That won’t change a thing
God’s ways are best. I’ll go with my inner prompting and block
Out negative reasoning and the rest.
I’ll give the first fruit not as a law but by faith, and watch the
Windows of heaven open before it’s too late. God promise
To disperse the financial curse, and restore what the devil stole.
When I obey biblical principles, I’ll sure receive a hundred fold.
First fruits offered by Abel a more excellent sacrifice than Cain.
The same applies to me whilst done in Jesus name; God’s intentions
Are pure laid out that I would gain? His principle of the kingdom
Are here to stay, I’ll embrace the fact and do it anyway.

I’ve an anger which cannot be hidden!
A burning passion that comes unbidden!
My Soul desolated with grievous rage,
reacts with furious justified outrage!
Occasioned by the offences of ignorance,
bigotry, discrimination and intolerance!
Though evil are the ravages of vandalism,
they pale to the magnitude of racialism!
Colour, creed, even the shape of the eye
is little enough to make bigots cry:
“He’s not of us! He’s a different breed!”
“Watch him close or he’ll do us an ill deed!”
There is no cause for remarks such as these,
but pestilent views are like a disease!
Some ill chosen words expressed in vague
terms, insinuate like a fatal plague!
Ethnic slurs in the guise of humour, fester!
With but one angry response one protester,
can incite more slander, which raging out of hand,
foments a backlash! Runs rampant! Inflames the land!
But racism is a sword with a two edged blade!
It cleaves not only those on whom it’s laid
but those who scorn to curb their vicious tongue
from whom such defamatory words have sprung!
Can we not accept those who are not as us?
Must we blame the innocent for the fuss
instigated by such biased perception?
Let us quash ignorance at its inception,
or by default we shall be guilty too!
By using diverse conceits we construe
to make imprudent acts lawful decrees!
While disregarding all impassioned pleas
for tolerance! Unless we denounce this blight,
or take a stand and with fortitude, to fight
and end disharmony, discord and dislike!
Racialism and hatred will flourish alike!

What kids are watching on telly
are crimes and crimes in all variety!
Crimes of hate
crimes of passion
acting it out at shocking rate
thinking in some wild fashion
then ending up cell mates!
When kids watch their movie heroes
shoot down people with the gun
they are incited to do the same
to achieve some thrill and fun.
When they see their very film star
slash someone's throat in a fit of anger
they think well of crimes of rage
and plunge everybody else into danger.
The tendency to portray the violent scene
luridly and shockingly on the Big Screen
Ah even for the small screen, tis the gory
that makes for the dark and thrilling story.
Now that technology's long opened this pandora's box
the dispersal of amplified social ills ain't no hoax
The rowdy hoodlums and reckless gangsters
are simply by-products of Tv influences
The world watches the thriving of the bully-boy pranksters
passively in helpless terror of their offences.
It's all portrayal of the vulgar, the obscene
by that devious Silver Screen
And the horror movie
though it may seem groovy
begets the horrendous
and drills evil thoughts subliminally
into the subconscious!
It's an unrestrained dark faking
of real life reality exaggerating
Whether it's Bollywood in the East
or it's Hollywood in the West
they don't merely impart tactics of defence
but rather those of aggressive offence
Viewing those gruesome swashbuckling films
gives rise to morbid sadistic whims
Flipping through the TV channels
just ponder if the telly's the perfect channel
of information is it a proper panel?
Dad always tells me, 'fear ye the roaches' flicking antennae?
While you oughtta fear the influence
of 'em' flickering images by dish antennae'.
Then a mere single merit that I dug
as I drank cappucino in my mug
that atleast one couldn't live in a bubble
daily watching the bubblebug.
Ah but then tougher gun laws couldn't halt
even underage shooting sprees
Rather it's stringent scanning of Tv content
that might make it all cease
Parental supervision too tis gravely essential
Should've been of parental code quintessential
So the next time you catch your teen
absorbed and engrossed while glued to the screen
Just sleuth a bit just to make sure
that for the x-rated he's not too keen!

I am here
In a different time and place
In which tears of joy of one
Unfolds the tears of discrimination of another
Such a cruel and beautiful place
This world can be
Such happiness and melancholy
It can cause
To trade the laughter of a hundreds
With the wretchedness of one
Is such an unpardonable sin
Where love is such a misguided emotion
And jokes just become an exotic offence
And people no longer go by the principle of respect
Where habits and manners become the past tense of an old lifetime
Where everyone says such things as
“No one loves you”
Where every low- life disrespects an ordinary
Where people who cry and weep
Are the people that speak of fact?
And people that are strong and rarely do they weep
Are the bad?
Nonsense after Nonsense
Sanity Losing Sanity
World decreasing in faith
Word becomes worthless
And I sit here
And I am to blamed
Of things that do not cause any shame
I am here, sitting and receiving offences
Of people who their duty is to love? To care?
Such an ironic place this world has become
Such a spell of loathing is cast upon us
And we, who fight are in this spell
To be condemned

If you shine a shoe you get a tip,
If you brush it well,
You get even a bigger tip,
If you denounce yourself,
And renounce your roots,
You get a reward...you get a nip,
Of the welfare and the system that keep,
Watching you and your progress in deep,
That you may one day cause a serious rip,
And betray your donor and give him a hip,.
Well done keep on brushing...and dig into the deep,
You are not the only one who sweats beyond the break.,
Who sweats beyond the bleep,
They’re certainly enough of you...
Very many...on support and on the drip,
It serves you right to suffer since you left your nest,
When you looked down on the mighty debris and the crest,
Of your beloved homeland that was the best,
Now be a living dead with a never-ending rest,
The way you look...the way you talk,
The way you walk and the way you are wrongly dressed,
Your land certainly keeps your head above and pride,
Your land keeps even quieter on your offences and hide,
Your land is still faithful to you..Generous and kind,
If you round the world...reach the skies you won't find,
So generous than her...so merciful...so brave it was signed,
By one million and a half million martyrs,
But today look at yourself...don't play the blind,
Look at your face,.
Look at your pace,
Look at all of you...which you won't find,
I think that all of you that was...had certainly died.

Limerick: Once Cute Pute in Gay Paris called Miel
Once Cute Pute* in Gay Paris called Miel*
Plied her trade around a Ferris Wheel
Rode them roller coaster
Spun them on wheel later
Got lush cut on fines for police squeal!*
• Pute: stands for “prostitute” in French
• Miel: for “honey” in French
• A new French Bill, dated December 7, 2011,
proposes the fining of prostitutes’ clients. French law,
by and large, tolerates the profession, even if overt
solicitation, procuring, and prostitution of minors
IS NOT. According to French law, sexual maturity
is recognised at 15, but for prostitutes 18 is the
legitimate age. Prison sentences range from 2 to 7
for related offences, and fines can run up to €100,000.

Limerick
Down he sojourned
On life's journey
Encounters upon encounters
Mistakes he made
Even offences...
To the people he met
"Apologize" ...he was told by some....
This he did
To erase his misdeeds
"Am I forgiven", he wondered
For others could not yield
To the gesture, so human
"Go get some counselling"
They advised...
Insinuating insanity
To such he said
"Apologize as well"

Narrative
Dusty clouds are isolation
Confusion obstructs my view
As I travel back roads in lonesome
Searching for the missing clues
Long ago we became separations
Worlds away by barbed-wire offences
I need to be back within your presence
To the much greener grass of our past oasis
Although, with every try you set up failure
You think I should be kept locked in contempt
Getting hung up upon the daily razors
But life without you I can never accept
Shut out, hours, months and years ago
Love is not dead yet, this I know...
I must get to you and the other side
For I saw, what the future holds...still you and I
The long divided road
For the shortest while I could bear
But, now the burden is an overload
As I travel back into the wilds of despair
But now, I see new horizons where boundaries blur
And my heart overflows with something long forgotten
Stretching out my arms to you once more
And through the wires I make attempts, more and more often
If there were nothing there and then my back I'd turn
To the broken road of pits and painless
But, mind cries carry on into yonder
Please, wife why won't you pull me through regardless
Of our frozen moments into complications
Where internal needing never dies
Praying for a miracle or a simple kind of elation
Of some love what's left, just to give us one more try
If you would dance with me in raindrops of every second chances
Waiting to fall from off your ever distant eyes
Like the Spring showers that cleanse away past sins
Washing in forgiveness, as you pull me through so once again... I could be standing at your side

Friends gathered to play 'Murder Mystery' online
Each person playing a role by game assigned.
One was a doctor, one was a teacher, one worker in nightclub,
With other roles assigned for fictitious group who met in a pub.
It was natural that each player used their own experiences
To provide color and meaning to the roles they played.
But the sense of déjà vu grew to eerie seances
As ghosts and reminiscences entwined, in play displayed.
The plot thickened and brewed like soup in a pot
Ingredient threads gathered together, refined when cooked.
Each player's own hateful intentions added spicy twists to the plot
That bypassed the script and set new outcome, with old ending unhooked.
Each player was suddenly aware they were scheming to kill in real life
The one person they all hated, and for past grave offences to avenge.
Strangely, that person was the nominated 'killer' who stabbed with knife
The play's victim in the script, who had threatened revenge.
The group had planned the perfect murder for the play's 'killer'
Who had innocently joined in the group's plot to murder him.
The game ended, and each player correctly identified the 'murderer'
A unanimous vote to knife the 'murderer', an 'Et tu, Brute' plot, gruesome and grim.

So the word is out
In most of the Pacific places
Captain Cook sailed to on his voyages
Local laws and customs were broken
And he was lucky to not be killed
For these offences by the local people
But he was a great navigator who knew
Where he was on the planet
At all times in his voyages
When his luck ran out on Hawaii
When the natives killed him in a property dispute
And his men had to leave his body
The natives took his body
And boiled it down for his bones
But they returned his hands and his buttocks
To his shipmates to honour him
So what was left of Cook was buried at sea
As was fitting for the great sailor and navigator that he was.

It Is Love
“16 We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” 1 John 4:16 NASB
It Is Love that replaces selfishness;
It Is Love that inspires us to serve;
It Is Love that binds us together;
It Is Love God desires to observe.
Love is the basis of sharing;
It makes for harmony and peace.
It Is Love that God gifts us—
Every family and nation to increase.
It Is Love that gives life meaning;
There’s satisfaction in serving others.
God instructed us above all,
To love Him and our sisters and brothers.
It Is Love that binds a marriage,
Enabling two opposites to live in harmony;
Seems for us mere humans
To be an impossibility.
It Is Love that makes the workplace
A happier place to be;
Spending much time together,
Requires love to be a reality.
Offences must be curbed,
And a positive attitude maintained;
Team work is essential—
A happy workplace to be framed.
It Is Love that makes a home
A joyful place to dwell.
No arguing or abuse;
Only words of love to tell.
It Is Love that makes the difference
To our lives and wellbeing.
Love cements us together;
A gift from our God all-knowing.

Host Nation Crass Action
It is downright embarassing to review a viral video clip...
Of a group of black attired chanting in unison to a beat...
Presumably they were out in full force as soccer fans...
Easily overwhelming the rival team and their travelling fans..
In their misbegotten zest to show ardent support to the national team...
They forgot about common courtesy and sportsmanship and behave so ugly...
They were dancing and chanting insulting phrases and unpleasant things...
Reviewing such a video clip and knowing they are fellow Malaysians, I am ashamed..
How much about Singapore do they really know, that they have to show....
Their animalistic bestiality in singing, Singapore Itu Anjing...
So very disappointing to see this, when it is merely a football match...
How could this ever has to come about, how could a host nation's fans be so crass....
Could it be decades of much lauded supremacy in race and religion in this nation...
Plus jealousy and animosity from unbridled misinformation about the Singapore nation....
That brings out this shameful animosity in crowd behaviour from a host nation...
The Singaporean nation has spurted head and shoulders ahead as a prosperous nation..
While the Malaysian nation has descended down the dregs of economy as if in a comedy show...
Whither comes this open hostility to belittle and intimidate the national team from Singapore...
O, Where is the graciousness and sportsmanship befitting of our nation...
Or has the scourge of acceptable corruption blurred the values of this nation????

Hohoho...
How it stings, when fans, players, coach and and FAM are punished for misbehaving...
Will this be the lesson to to mind all and sundry the need for sportsmanship...

Hi, my name is Africa tell me what you see inside.
Dont get fooled by the norm because aids and crime is what you'll find.
Why do you speak of Africa as if its blind. clean your lens and upgrade what your mind dispenses, if not then comments will bring regular offences.
Hundreds of years have seen many oppressed, then last twenty have seen a continent sexually obsessed.
do we even see green pastures or is the phrase obselete leaving the faces around the world green.
Is Afica a fertile soil with no seeds to lay-could it be the reason why I strangely see blouted bellys everyday.
We have to look and observe and truly declare if this is my body's just deserves.
A mind concept
A thought gone depth
This is mine and this is yours dont let it die
dont let it fall, if you do you'll kill us all.
Africa is sinking and only the captain goes down with his ship
so leave me behind because by not preventing I have steered my ship down.
I sink on many tears cried by Africans
and land on many bodies killed by daily genocides
Hi my name is Afica tell me what you see inside.

Life isn't fair, for how long will I blab?
Everyone knows that and sure have their share of crab.
Too much of hurts and clinging to the painful past will not do.
Telling the tales of yesterday pain is a much ado.
Incessant pang of fury is the only thing I will surely gain.
No more hold on that past of constant pain.
Going forward and putting the past behind,
Guaranteed me a blessing of many kind.
Offences of the past I shall no more find.

I have had my own share of untold pain.
But I do not want that to put me in a cage.
That to me will be of no gain.
Now, I have chosen to open a new page.
