BORN IN NINE ELEVEN

Crack...Boom!
Is it the Big bang...
Or the boom of 9/11,
Everyone goes deaf,

Tears and teeth are out
Are these tears of joy?
Are these teeth of smile?
Is it the beginning or the end?

One boom gave life_
Another took it, and...
For the boy the boom collided
Somehow, he made it out alive.

A miracle, isn't it? a joy in chaos
Luckily it

Premium MemberRemembering Nine Eleven

It was a beautiful morning, the sky azure,
and the air clear and cloudless.
The dawn's sunrise casted shadowy silhouettes
of the city, on the calm and unrippled Hudson River.
The city's streets were heavy with people traffic from
workers and tourists rushing around in the fast pace
of Manhattan's mid-week norm.
While driving to my work destination, and

It was nine degrees outside in April
In the chill of a dreary April day,
I find myself wandering through the dimness,
My eyes were straining in the absence of light.
As I approach the door, a sense of familiarity washes over me, pulling me back to a time of comfort and solace.
The thought of retreating to the inviting

Nine, five, one, three—
Is that truly all that remains of you?
What fragments of me linger in your mind?
If only you would take a moment to slow down
And gaze upon the world that unfolds before you.

Your way of life is shrouded in enigma.
Your sixth

Premium MemberA Fourth of Nine

Like the globe she dances
Spinning on pointed toe
Pole to pole she meets
With arms en haut to show
Perfect orb, she crystal glow
Out as far as up, and
Down as far as in.
Jormungandr swim
Slicing through the molten core,
A double sided blade,
To each degree of astrolabe
Swim figure eight eternity.

Diametric pins astride
The face of ticking time
A fourth of

Seven Eight Nine

You will fall but you can choose to stand back up again
Often missing His Call even more now than then
Even right in front of His Face like you have not a care
In so knowing of such disgrace yet acting as if unaware

You know of His Name yet you take it so light

The Cat used to brag to all the guys
Because he won first place for most lives.
Then the frog said with glee,
"Not more have you than me,
I croak every night…I win the prize!"

Nine Times to Die

Like a cat,
I've nine times to die —
and love has taken seven.

Once,
when you said my name like it was a question.
Twice,
when you answered it with silence.
Thrice,
when you loved someone else
in front of me
like I was made of stone
instead of soul.

I keep returning —
from wreckage,
from wreck,
from wreck again.

You don't know
how many lives I’ve lost
just staying alive
next

What nonet flaunts its lovely derrière?
Then sings with sweet, buttermilk sound—
with shape fully self-aware,
in nine lines? Ass firm, round,
curvaceous with flare:
and so high, bound
for beach wear,
and found,
here?

Nine Months Ago Part 2

It's only 2:00 am.
I even waited to take the drugs
till midnight,
so I wouldn't have to fight
an extra 2 hours through the night

Not that it makes much of a difference.
In 4.5 hours my alarm will go off
(not that I really need one)
and I'll continue to just survive
each torturous moment.
The only difference is the daytime
doesn't have the

Nine Months Ago Part 1

These next _ minutes are going to be hard...

I open my eyes
Not sure what time it is,
but I bet I can guess.
The drugs never work
for more than 2 hours,
and the distress from the
pressure in my head and throat
has been suppressing more than
2 hours of sleep a night
for months now -
even with the drugs.
They have

Sweet as sugar daisy,
it’s that opening line.
Wild strawberry energy,
it’s that very first couplet.
Fairy tales start with poetry,
a quest for a thousand and one.
The ebb and flow of that journey,
follow along relax and recline
this is the viridescent princess’s story..

NINE MONTHS a life SAGA of THE Astronauts

They left home nine months ago,
they didn't go to war... they went to outer space!

they kissed their loved ones, their family.
and went to the farthest reaches... in a special spaceship!

They promised to return, although they knew,
perhaps that wouldn't happen...!

When they left, they knew:
the world would continue in fire and tears,
madness and disenchantment...!

Their struggles were

The river

From the dark shadows of the past to the unfair justice of this cruel world lies every new day that passes by around the shores of the flowing river, like a gentle wind it flows traveling with all the armies of water like soldiers on the battlefield, long live the 300 spartans such a terrifying
