Me and positivity
Me and positivity
Me and positivity
No one can brake us apart
He'll be my friend, ti'll the end
He doesn't play pretend
Me and positivity
Me and positivity
Me and positivity
We only have, one enemy
His name is, negativity
We don't let him play with us, anymore
Kicked him away, made him pay
He washed up on the shore
Me and positivity
Me and positivity
Me and positivity
The one and, only
No one else, is quite like him
Makes me smile, on a whim
He's really, somthing else
Me and positivity
Me and positivity
Me and positivity
Makes me, happy
Me and positivity
Me and positivity
Me and positivity
No one can brake us apart
You say you are my foe
But you're not, no you're not
You're only a faux foe
With your face slimed with snot.
Sound; its swept on by pureness
Soul as air-cleansing.
This night of a quick-blown rain
Drowsily healed in.
Lying abed, resonates
With that on a beach!
Though for it, shore-beat, gong-like
Vibrates, recurrent
Have affirmed, if more numb sent
Toxic depths, too, reach.
Be positive even when you don't feel like it
Negativity is the absolute worst thing that can enter your life
It's as simple as smiling
Just smile and you'll feel instantly better
Don't let negativity bring you down
Be happy, think positive thoughts
Be how you usually are, encourage yourself as well as others
Keep going, keep playing, keep fighting
No matter how mad, no matter how tired, no matter how broken down
Just smile
Because there's no positive in being negative
Drizzle
Drizzle
Drizzle
Drizzle
Going on for hours and hours
Not a trace of summer sunshine
Cloud-filled sky of rain-filled towers
Grizzle
Grizzle
Grizzle
Grizzle
Can I ever learn to cope?
Is there anything to give me
Just a little bit of hope?
Yes! I lift my hands up heavenwards
Lift my eyes to God’s great realm
Cry to him alone who’s able
Turn the drizzle into sunshine
Turn the grizzle into smiling
Light and life shines over all!
Why do some Spirits haunt the Shade —
When Morning floods the Hill —
And cling unto a withered Thought
As though it were a Will —
They sip from Cups of former Storms —
Though Wells of Light run near —
And wrap their Hearts in winter Words
To armor them from Fear —
For Hope requires a tender Strength —
A Courage soft — and slow —
To mend oneself in quiet Rooms
Where only Truth may go —
Yet those who dare repair their Flame
Though small — and scarcely bright —
Become a Lantern for the Road
Of many lost in Night —
So mend the Glass — and lift the Wick —
Let gentler Fires start —
For mended Souls — though once in Dark —
Bring Sunrise to the Heart.
Don't engage in Negativity
Don't come around here, Don't bring it
Don't carry it, Don't promote negativity
Around here.
Miss me, I for one with that fiasco.
Release it now, Release it now, Release it now.
Can you read the room? Can you detect the
Energy? It's the aura that borders us.
Stop in the name of love. Don't bring it,
Don't carry, Don't deliver no negativity
Around here.
I hate how it always ends up like that.
How I get ignored for several hours.
And reply within a few seconds.
To think that you didn’t care as much as I do.
Engraves a sense of solitude in my heart.
I can’t call myself anything but a fool.
To hopelessly stare blankly at a screen.
How can I have these emotions, however?
Every day I greet you like it’s never the last time.
Reminiscing, overthinking but never hating you.
Ever wondered if you noticed those emotions………………? (will you ever do?)
Oh my, why am I always on the flip side?
Fleeing from hope, slipping down the slide.
In moonshine glow, seldom in sunshine bright.
Always in the consequence of negativity's plight.
My joy and laughter are often subdued.
My tears and sobs are wrongly construed.
My feelings are torn to tatters and shreds.
By doubts and uncertainty, slipped threads.
But why am I here, when the solution is free?
It's only a flip-flop coin toss away!
I just need to re-flip immediately with glee,
To get back on the hit-side where I'll stay.
I don't need any Negativity around me
I don't need any Negativity around me
I don't need any Negativity around me
I release it, I release it, I release it
Walking in these rooms I can feel the
Energy.
Walking in these rooms I
can feel the Energy.
Walking in these rooms I
can feel the Energy.
It's the vibes
It's the vibes
It's the vibes
I release it now
I release it now
I release it now.
How do you feel about; every day,
Usually nine to five,
Doing something that you hate
Just to stay alive?
Your car, your house, etcetera,
The bills that all come too,
Surely everything you need
Depends on what you do
I work to do as little as possible;
F*ck the world and its rules.
I've done whatever the f*ck I like
For most of my life. Them fools.
At times it sucked, sometimes twas good,
We all know how it goes.
But money never was a thing
That kept me on my toes
So if you're taking anything
at all from this rhyme,
I'd say that money buys a lot,
But doesn't buy you time
No place for negativity in my mind-
I'll just try & leave that all behind.
Struggling within to let it all go-
So many things, no one can know.
Secrets I keep_ scenarios I'll never tell-
Not disclosing the fact I've lived through Hell.
Been there & back, seems I'm back there again-
Continuously paying the price for my sins.
I'm trying not to be pessimistic & clear off the table-
About to cross the line of being mentally stable.
I can't allow myself to break into tiny pieces-
I won't let that happen, I'll smooth out the creases.
No place for negativity in my mind-
Peace & positivity are what I seek to find.
Try to wake up every morning with a smile on your face
Be thankful you are still part of the human race
Send out rays of happiness to everyone you might meet
If you take the bus and it is full give someone in need your seat
The media continues to spread doom and gloom it's a ratings game
Why do we accept that everything has to be the same
Negativity spreads like dandelions on our lawn
If we could all just be a little more positive maybe we could attain a new dawn
Working together is what we need to get our world back on track
We always seem to proceed one step forward but then go two steps back
Spreading love is the way to go, without it we would probably not be here today
Let's treat everyone with kindness and respect, what do you say
I am downhearted, discouraged, dejected, downcast.
Ms. Positive said “You need to look up, for positives and fast.”
I am disheartened, dismayed, down in the dumps she replied.
Determined to be miserable, hopeless, sad, an expert who cried.
Another new day dawns
For us all to face
Will it be one to embrace
With vim and vigour
As we prepare to start this day
We put our negativity at bay
And begin to read the news
Trusting that today's news will be
Printed with more clarity
So that most can understand
The strategies they have planned
I put the paper down in dread
Of all the dreadful things I've read
Make nonsense to me
Today I awoke to face the day.
With positive thoughts on display
Sadly. There is no sign of change,
Negativity returns again.
