A Fly Taught Me to Fly
It came like a whisper
on wings too dirty for angels,
a fly with no gospel—
just bloodlust and fire.
I don’t remember the bite—
only the stories they told me—
the brain-boil, the silence
of a body already leaving,
the baby too lethargic
to be called alive,
and the ice-water baths.
Above the crib, they hovered—
not angels, not flies,
but entities without names,
bodiless heads

My Near Death Experience
Having once died, I found the air like there moist and still.
Humming along soft with unseen green wings of light,
The echoes of a song long written unfulfilled,
That wove through veils of gold and endless night.
Each step a path, each path a stair case unseen,
Where shadows melt and shimmer into cold flame,
A silent guide, a voice

Near Death
So tired, he closed his eyes, which made him realise,
although no one can see, his spirit's breaking free.

A Near Death Experience
A point to ponder…
why I wonder
when we are young
and get jerked awake
by a dream or a nightmare
are we hugged and comforted
given the assurance
“It’s not real, it’s not real!!”
and when we are older
and get jerked awake
by a dream or a nightmare
we tell ourselves
with great relief
“It’s not real, it’s not real!!”
whether young or old
we will

Near Death Melancholy
A WISTFUL look on once a jolly face
You can feel the pain in her grimace
Her WITHDRAWN heart in SHROUD of GRIM
Seems to dim her muffled scream
A chronic state of MELANCHOLY
Seems to worsen her agony
The FEELINGS mix inside of her
She can't just hold them altogether
Her GLOOMY face reflects her

Socket
Comeback God sacked a craft sassed to last /
Grasp no slack or sag with the rap slap/
Pressure the bag and tip of the cap /
Coder crack hat and lift that latch /
Off the docket and out the casket /
Almost a tragic trashed hit had him cashed in /
Dodged that tactic now have the

Near Death
Age, catatonically passed between
In its thinking processes
Doubt, and the most ghastly, Fear.
And will no angel edge up, to whisper
Death's so called realm, down-winging:
"Death is but heavenly near?"

Near Death Experience
Moment of death, life force sucked out,
that it’s the end, we have no doubt,
being offered no time to think,
for it’s over, in but a blink.
Having survived this happenchance,
what’s the way we now choose to dance?
Are we as yet not overawed,
that each life breath’s a gift of God?

Near Death
In the aftermath of giving birth I personally had a out of body experience.
Welcoming life into this world, Something went iffy. I could scarcely hear the sounds on the hospital’s speakers
code blue. Nurses and doctors routinely and expeditiously maneuvered to bring me back to existence.
I personally visualized a impression of a manlike image
embracing me, kissed

Carnage
Laying in my cozy bed,
I oft wonder
why?
why am I here when others not?
those that make a simple mistake
and perish, yet I am here
a friend telling me
“you have more lives than cats”
not a consolation to my deliriums
The plethora of experiences too plentiful
to parlay into one poem
sixteen at last count
multiple careening crashes, a gas tank

Soul Point of View
I wonder how long I’ll watch you
Even though you is really me
Waiting for some light to walk through
Perhaps I’ll see something heavenly
Or return as a form upgraded
I thought I’d feel blissful and free
But I feel more akin to jaded
Like leaving your shell cast aside
Is relinquishing what I created
Where this other self chose to abide
Wondering if

Divine Near Death Expressions
Acknowledging the essence of near-death experience realistically
through reading about its characteristics mindfully
as regards presented historical reports numerously
and research of its circumstances done clinically---
I’m made aware of its truth that’s perceived individually.
Thus, my heart prays for such encounter blissfully
especially that I took care of my Dad graciously
in his ICU confinement circumspectly…
I saw him on

Near Death Experience
Intriguing subject of which I've read.
Most NDEs come back without dread
of dying, some are eager to go;
some feel they know and are saying so.
Many describe a most brilliant light,
believe it is God's love shining bright.
They're embraced unconditionally;
despair erased additionally.
While in this state, they can fly with ease.
Disease, blindness, cripples are released.
Hate dissipates in the love

Near Death Experience
I felt like I was running against the clock
Hurtling through a tunnel bathed in light,
Experiencing a sudden, shattering shock.
And still the peaceful overarching sight
That all would be well for me over there
Hurtling through a tunnel bathed in light.
Then I felt my soul in astral everywhere
A sense of resolution brought peace anon,
That all would be well
