Near Death Experience

I felt like I was running against the clock Hurtling through a tunnel bathed in light, Experiencing a sudden, shattering shock. And still the peaceful overarching sight That all would be well for me over there Hurtling through a tunnel bathed in light. Then I felt my soul in astral everywhere A sense of resolution brought peace anon, That all would be well for me over there. Suddenly light at tunnel’s end was dawn, A whisper said the time had not yet come Filmy curtains of separation were drawn, I awakened in recovery completely numb.

This explains a NDE very well "Then I felt my soul in astral everywhere"

Thanks. I struggled with this poem because I was basing it on experiences I had only read about.

Was it a real one or is it just for the contest, Milt? whatever, it sounds real enough and is described beautifully...I have never had such an experience, though I did have a minor-turned-major accident in my school days!

Thanks, Jo. This is based on experiences I have read about. I have never had such an experience personally.

From what I've read, this seems validated by so many thousands of anecdotal experiences, including one from my next-door neighbor, who is normally quite the close-to-the-vest-conservative, esp. emotionally. He was just effusive about all those angels helping him. Hope he and you are both right! ~ gw

I do, too, gw. But, we won't really know until we make that final trip. Bon Voyage!
