I often question why we are here
are we pieces to a bigger puzzle
why do we hide these questions from the world,
afraid of rejection, fear?
I often question what it's like to be mute,
observing the world instead of trying to figure it out-
observing people instead of telling them what to do
I often wonder why we are all afraid-
afraid of getting old,
afraid to obtain a new career
afraid of money.
I always wonder why we can't just live at peace,
why does the world dictate who you are-
why can't we just be and that's enough.
Sometimes, I wonder what sort of things keep people going-
whether they are near death or have something traumatic happen
We are all the basis of one thing, human,
we all thrive with love and communication and if it is neglected, we simply can't go on.
Life from a 25 year old is far from difficult,
it's rather an observation-
appraised from a young adult
there's so much life ahead of me,
yet I need some answers first.
I wonder what life would be like if society gave up-
it was up to us to become our greatest
what would happiness be?
turning down the volume
that is what i am thinking as i am blinking
grabbing the last bottle of cream soda
that is my mental escape from a wrath i cannot comprehend
imagining you naked and ready to go down
that is the way i uplift myself while you are bringing me down
the grenade in my brain is on the brink of exploding
the balloon of my self esteem is at the dangerous edge of imploding
the merger of the two is unseen due to the sour blindness of the moment
the spittle burns like a near death experience on Christmas day
the accusations decapitate like a merciless machete moonlighting
the end is the beginning of the minuscule additional
our love has been uprooted by a hurricane so petty and unnecessary
speechlessness post descension is the new loquatious
bye bye sweet valentine era....it was nice pre-post-construction
Life’s Upheavals
Written: By Miracle Man

I’ve had both Cancer,
and Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
And after having them both,
I can readily attest.
My two worst crises,
in life they’ve been.
Cancer yanked me,
from a life of sin.
S.C.A. was likewise,
a redoubtable adversary.
Leaving things in life,
much less arbitrary.
Jesus covered my bed,
as I lay near death.
Now my vision is beyond,
drawing a final breath.
Hitting the recall button,
I see both time and place.
When Cancer stirred me,
to seek Jesus’ face.
I was living a life,
engulfed by Satan’s mire.
Cancer became the match,
that set my fields on fire.
1968
It was a day of near death, I did not know,
I found myself sitting, at the beginning of my own show,
I watched my whole life flash before me,
It only took seconds, to the years of my life-,
before this,
I then found myself sitting up in a hospital bed,
doctors and nurses were running all around me,
they didn't even see me in front of them,
I wondered what the excitement was all about,
They kept going behind me, a place for some reason, I was not allowed to see,
Confused to why I was here, I felt good, home was only fair, I seen my family sitting around,
they all had long faces, looking through me, like I wasn't even there,
It was then I started to make a move, home was in my view, something then took control, put me in my place, it was powerful, but good,
I was showed a glimpse, a picture, I did not understand, it soon dissapeared into thin air,
I then laid down, I awoke with the most crusading pain, the doctor then looked me in the eye, and said, it's a miracle you're still alive, you gave me a scare, I lost you twice,
It was that moment I realized, I was the one, behind the scenes, the one place I could not see, it was me they were working on the whole time.

Oh, how I thought this life was a sentence,
forbidden to serve, for this, my life-time.
Concerned each day, outwith God's calm presence,
that I was done for, gone, alone, and lame.
And yet with time, its continued along,
even through the darkest, it moves forward.
And I am still here, trying to be strong,
hour by hour, day by day, praising my Lord.
Because this long suffering is a fruit,
from that of God's own perfect Holy Ghost.
For I have been destitute, near-death, mute,
and yet through my pain, in Him, may I boast.
So by His great strength, may I humbly kneel,
and pray Lord, to come soon, and one day heal.

Police and an Amazing Pet Rescue
Indiana Police received an Emergency Call,
Of animal abandondonment in a terribly hot car.
This is a great reminder for caring, pet owners all!
To not leave pets inside cars, that are hot as bubbling-tar.
Inside, the keys, still were in the red,hot ignition.
Found inside~ a deceased pet bull, found dead!
And a fluffy cat, near death in very critical condition
So pet owners, in summer, please you your head!
There was also a German Shepherd in that ‘car- toaster.’
He survived best, not wanting to die, to be flat as a coaster!

Forever, Together
Kevin Davis, 2024
For years, we lived beneath the shadow of my pain,
Yet you stood beside me, steady through each strain.
As my body faltered and my hope began to fade,
You held me close—your devotion never swayed.
We dreamed of future days, of raising sons as one,
Never thinking you might walk that road alone, undone.
Your strength and tenderness carried me through the storm.
In my darkest hours, your courage kept me warm.
Through endless hospital halls, sterile rooms, despair,
Your presence was a beacon—constant, always there.
Hand in hand, heart to heart, through every weary fight,
Your faith in us endured, an ever-burning light.
Though my body weakened, your spirit made me strong.
In your eyes, I found the will to carry on.
Our dreams of tomorrow, once dim, burned bright and true—
For in your embrace, I found my life… and you.
After nights near death, when I hung by a fragile thread,
Your voice called me back from the edge I almost tread.
Within your smile, I saw our love’s design—
No storm, no trial could break what’s yours and mine.
With you beside me, our bond will still belong,
Unshaken, unbroken—eternally strong.
I am forever grateful we endured each stormy weather,
In this life and beyond—forever, together.
The End
I am dead.
I travel towards a blue ball of LIGHT.
It calls me, communicates.
Whether we are billions, trillions or
even just millions.
we are eternal, we are one.
The time we spend on Earth
is infinitesimal.
Hate has no place inside the light.
Give people the benefit of the doubt
there is nothing to be gained or lost
you just must.
Power is fleeting and it too means nothing.
I am speaking these word out loud
but my understanding is greater than that
a lot greater.
All life is vital; all of it travels back and forth.
Cleanse your spirit your mind and heart,
forgive everyone.
Your purpose is not what it seems.
Do not be afraid of those who hate you.
Fear no one.
Fear is a wasted emotion that only drains energy.
When you speak of peace the confused will attack.
Stay kind, stay pure.
There is nothing to win
there is nothing to lose you just must.
Look deep into others eyes
there you will see who you are.
Cleanse yourself there is a light,
a life that awaits us all,
what awaits us is greater
than any words or ideas.
In our simple form
we cannot conceive the after light.
Light not dark is our destiny
brighter than you've ever seen.
Live by the light, it will set you free.
It is the peaceful who are brave.
Just rid yourself of hate believe in peace,
walk lightly and all will be clear!
We are and will always be one.
........never ever give up on anyone.........
on................any............one
........suddenly........
I am back.......
........I died
but I am back........
........I know because all my angst returns.
All my family is around me.
There are tubes down my throat
wires everywhere.
I am blessed my family with me
tears and smiles a love that blankets me.
I smile.
The Beginning.

Contest Name: Near Death or Near Life Experience
Born into this world –
with a cord around my neck.
Wrapped around 3 times –
my cord of life brought me near death.
Funny now to think –
I’d live my life with the same battles.
Foreshadowing my future –
(fighting) with demons in the shadows.
Fighting for my life alone –
seems no one hears my screams.
The things I love so much –
most of them cause danger to me.
My lovers over time –
in their own ways felt right to me.
Just to find that each of them –
would just cause me to bleed.
Not bloodshed in some valiant way –
no, bloodshed of the weak.
Beaten, battered, broken, –
it still haunts me in my sleep.
Pushed to brutal limits –
beaten like an injured dog.
And when I finally snapped –
see, only I was in the wrong.
Friends are just the same –
whenever presented with conflict.
Nobody wants to listen –
unless there’s favorable verdicts.
Throw away the whole relationship –
For sakes of being right.
Nobody really cares –
they’ll leave me here, far out of sight.
Family is truly fleeting –
they just seem to come and go.
Even those you’re close to –
(turn) into people you don’t know.
See, I have no true safe place –
nor a happy place nor peace.
I’m plagued by suicidal thoughts –
for my mind is diseased.
Why should I want to be here –
with no purpose, with no home?
The absence of my children –
is the worst pain that I’ve known.
“Stay alive for them!” –
so many foolish people say.
But I cannot fulfill their dreams –
(they’ll hold) false hope should I stay.

A dying man was gasping for air
He asked a nurse if she had some to spare
She breathed into a little phial
And with a smile upon her dial
She said how much will you pay
My phial of breath may save your day
A quiet voice from way up high
Spoke to the nurse and asked her why
She had wanted payment for her breath
When her patient was so near death
Suddenly, she heard a sound
Of soothing music all around
She looked at the dying man's face
And noticed that there was no trace
Of worry lines or wrinkles there,
He seemed to rise from his bed
A cosy pillow lay under his head
The nurse was awe-struck and gave a scream
Praying to awaken from this dream
Still holding her phial of breath.
