I Move On

Rose petals pinching my skin,
Bruised brain beaten and defeated,
Hollow heart haunted by melancholic memories,
I move on, I move on and I move on.
Life longing for my will to live,
I float along,
Following my rhythm,
Singing my song.

My song of life and my absurd behaviour,
Crying, laughter, anger, love and fervour.
Kindness clinging closer in my veins,
Peace palpating through my heart.
I move on, I move on and I move on.
I float along,
Following my rhythm,
Singing my song.

Carrying my wounds like a winning warrior,
I move on, I move on and I move on,
I float along,
Following my rhythm,
Singing my song.

Let us move on

Let us move on, my heart,
Though the weight of yesterday still lingers,
There’s a horizon calling us,
With the promise of brighter fingers.

The past may bleed through every scar,
But we cannot stay in the shadows of who we were,
For the light of tomorrow is waiting,
A dawn that we can now prepare.

Let us move on, my soul,
Not forgetting, but forgiving,
For there’s strength in what we’ve lost,
And freedom in what we’re living.

The pain will not define us,
Though it tried to make us small,
We’ve risen from the ashes,
And we’ll stand proud through it all.

So let us move on, hand in hand,
Into a world that’s still unknown,
For every step we take together,
We’ll build a place to call our own.

Let us move on, and let it be,
A journey of becoming free.

This life, a boon unasked,
Though with eddies and sudden twists.
Even at dead ends, a passage opens.
Move forward without dread
Our task here is to ‘seek and find’.

Premium Member Move on Back

move on back I say to my gray dendrite jar
It is in the closet, over there, not very far
It wants me to be a country music star
I laugh at the audacity, give a har har har

ambitions? Not really. I don’t want to think.
Since my retirement I’ve been in the pink.
Not wanting to take on monotonous jobs
staying away from Joes, Billies and Bobs.

I have no dreams or goals to fulfill.
Just loving my daily walk up a hill.
Enjoying the weather, mild like this.
Not jumping for snakes, not giving a hiss.

My brain can stay on that closet shelf.
I don’t need it to pen poems about elf.
Imagination must be lodged in my heart.
I do nothing extra, you can’t make me start.

Premium Member I'll Move On Alone

I sit here alone, staring at your empty chair,
You'll never again be doing things sitting there.
I wish you had lived at least until I got here,
Because to me you were someone so dear.

I sit here at your tall dining table by myself,
I stare at your red cardinals on every shelf.
I wonder if you are really with me in-spirit,
Or if it is delusional of me to assume it.

I wish I could have cried with everybody,
But you clearly didn't even want to invite me.
I'm sorry I was selfish not paying my own way,
I just thought you will pass away anyway.

But I know now, I am all alone, in missing you,
Everybody always has each other too.
But I am strong enough to move on,
In spite of my grief over how you're now gone.

Move on

Days
move slower
Then an evaporating
Puddle
Watching clouds
float by
I look for
Meaning
In my
coffee grinds
thoughts
Fly
Like geese
Far from here
My feet
Forever magnetized

MOVE ON

My loves we must move on, forward through all the thorns.
Lets work on us, and become strong, and reach for the long dreams we have.
Yes we can, reach for the stars, and live in happiness and bliss forever.
Be clever like a lever, with all your dream in hand, run forward with the speed of a warrior that has a plan.
We can do this by staying on track, being goal orientated, and having a plan.
Loves, don’t get lost, stay focused, and look for your path, it will be light and gold, and stand out in your mind.
Try and try again, if you fall off the plan, you are a wonderful creation, and all your dreams can be made just by you following a clear plan.
Moderation, is a good plan, only do what you can, then go back and work on it again and again, until you know it’s the best you can.
Don’t drink or smoke or anything else that might make you choke.
Choose something other than a vice that will cost you your life.
Loves I will pray for you, sending you warm thoughts and love on your path throughout this life.
May God be with us today and all through our life.

To err is human to forgive is divine

2015.4.13 @ 15:08:03

From time to time, I believed you had unintentionally caused me harm.
I expressed and complained about them,
Then I forgave, forgot and moved on.
My favourite number was three,
I believed I did three big favours for you.
I also travelled with you three tourist places.
I always visit historic sites and country towns
During winter and when the weather is colder.
I did not tell you this because
I was not keen on making promises.
I might not please people easily,
But I definitely very careful not to offend people.
After all, I am only a common person,
No body and no celebrity.
To err is human, to forgive is devine.
Will you ever forgive me if I offended you,
Which I could not recall any at all.

Move On

Lipstick will fade
Love walk away
What makes you wait?

Colours!

Those are the colours.
Which binds together, and then
A beautiful background is formed.
Which mesmerizes people.

Which blends together
And forms an
Amazing shade
Which is then visible to us.

Whatever the shade is
It has never made itself unattractive.
And we still have a fondness for it.
Because it's a piece of art.

Humans are also kind of shades.
Who are unique in their own way.
Beautiful, kind, and lovely
And fascinating for other people.

We humans are pieces of art too.
Everyone has different talents.
Everyone are unique and contrast
And we are the future of all.

Three painful memories

Three painful memories caused by no bodies.
1. Loss of friendship with many broken promises.
2. Disappointed with negative and harsh language.
3. Loved someone with heart of stone.
I shall move on to live my life.
I should pay more attention,
When you mentioned in the messages
"I break off relatsionships quickly,
I break them easily
and I usually make no effort to keep friendships"
Why bothered to make it then break it.
Why started nicelt it then ended it painfully.
Did you really felt nothing in our relationship.
To me, it was brief but sweet.
I might as well forget all about it.
As I told you before, we loved you,
We loathe you and we will forget about you.
I was certain, there was no fault on my part.
It was you who had no heart.

First encounters

First encounters in the past two decades.
18.1.2009, A helped me to move in my quarter.
A decade of caring friendship and neighbors.
He taught and loved me unconditionally.
Fifteen years and six days later,
24.1.2024, B agreed to give up,
His seat on our first meeting.
Six months and six days of a simple, fun and supportive friendship.
It ended without saying any proper farewell.
Three hundred and fifty six days later,
16.1 2025, I joined the Poetry world,
Introduced by "Mr. Author", who has also strangely,
No longer interacting with me.
A fortnight later,
30.1.2025, pianist J, subtlety enhanced
My knowledge of music,
These encounters' experiences,
Shall stay forever with me.
For the last leg of my life.
Goodbye A,
Bye-bye BB.
Keep on writing and posting my poems.
Good luck to Pianist J.
Friend(s) comes and goes as always.

Premium Member Move on

Life is for the living
It is for a short a season
Whatever life throws at you
Receive it with equanimity and move on
When you make mistakes as all mortals sometimes do
Do not run away from God
Rather run to Him and make amends
And move on with determination
On your onward journey
And God will see you through
For He loves you so much
That He gave you His only son
To die a shameful death on the cross
So that you may be saved if only you believe

Moving On

Moving on

Leaving behind those great and kind – it is about forgiving and moving forward, letting go of the bitterness in one's heart so that new doors are opened.

With every move you make, a bittersweet lesson is given. Of tapping stories – the temporary – not yet to be told.

You're told that great people are hard to find and that the one you've sought must be perfect, only for such a person to vanish as you move to the next level. And at such times, what you have in your heart is the only answer.

That road you see over there, your feat, walk it! Leaving what used to be present, friends may part but the memorial remains. In the depth and twists and turns of your lanes.

And that's why, so walk your path, brave, and true. Leaving the paramount, bidding goodbyes, for in the end, what you are going to get is the journey that shapes your heart and mind.

Move On

The past is a mess
It's something I've done a lot
To move and forget.
